Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 1576: Chapter 2: Fight or Not to Fight [Request for Official Subscription]

The origin of the Biochemical Starfield can be traced back to several thousand years ago when a nearby Super Starfield Empire invaded. Due to the birth of black hole tactics, along with the assistance of the Insect War Empire, they defeated their opponents, and from then on, this starfield began to highly value martial arts.

Under the national consciousness of emphasizing martial arts, a very peculiar culture developed, which is the ’Martial Arts Hall’ Power seen before us.

Unlike usual powers, more than half of the Martial Arts Hall Power does not have a fixed base. They survive by roaming various places, teaching combat techniques, trading, among other methods. Naturally, some of them, like the Wei Tian Martial Arts Temple Power before us, live to challenge others.

”Is this the reason for the strength of the Biochemical Starfield?”

Just from the information the other party provided, Jia Yan is able to imagine the martial arts hall power spread across the starfield, disseminating combat techniques and strategies of the strong, enhancing the overall power of the entire starfield.

If that’s the case, the Biochemical Starfield, without mentioning anything else, could quickly boost its overall strength by relying solely on the addition of wandering martial arts power.

”Such a terrifying starfield, although it is said to have no Galactic Level Powerhouse, its strength is still not to be underestimated. Only this way can it survive among so many starfields with Galactic Level Powerhouses.”

”Of course, part of the reason is the good relations between the Biochemical Starfield and the Insect Clan Empire. After all, the Insect Clan Empire’s Queen can almost fight two or even more Galactic Level Powerhouses by herself...”

Through the scene before him, Jia Yan thought of many things, and he even vaguely recalled the Insect Queen, who might have been a Galactic Level Powerhouse that had ’observed’ him before. Thinking about her, Jia Yan suddenly shivered, almost afraid to continue thinking.

The past in the Northern Star Domain, where he was once observed by a ’great existence’, is something Jia Yan does not like to recall, especially after learning about the ’Insect Clan Empire’. He vaguely guessed that this female presence was the Insect Queen, the only Galactic Level Queen in the Insect Clan Empire, but also the strongest known in nearby starfields.

But he doesn’t want to think about her, fearing that remembering her would bring those nightmarish past events rushing back to his mind.

”Senior, could it be that you also have thoughts of fighting on stage?”

The few Cosmic Level Beings who were conversing with the Senior looked at Jia Yan, seemingly misunderstanding and thinking that Jia Yan wanted to take the stage for a fight.

”Oh, I won’t fight. The strong ones of Wei Tian Power on stage look very powerful, I have no confidence.”

Jia Yan came to himself and shook his head at them.

Joking, the strongest one on stage of the Wei Tian Power is only Semi-permanent Star Level, and here he practically reached the Pseudo Stellar Level of strength; challenging them would be a joke.

Bullying the weak indeed.

”Oh, indeed, Senior’s strength is Respect Level, while the weakest among them is Respect as well. Moreover, some of their Respect-Level Beings have terrifying powers, I guess even Senior isn’t confident.”

Seeing there’s no good show, some Cosmic Level Beings stopped chatting with Jia Yan as a battle unfolded on the stage.

”Indeed, the strong ones in this Biochemical Starfield have exceptionally strong fighting capabilities.”

Jia Yan looked at the fight in the arena. This was a battle between Respect-Level Beings; one combatant was from Wei Tian Power, and the other from a border power known as ’Tongyi Power’.

Both parties seemed to have some fame, and the fight was very lively, with the surrounding crowd cheering loudly.

Jia Yan knew just by looking that their talent could only be described as average, yet their combat abilities far surpassed ordinary Respect-Level Beings. One grasped a bit of Environmental Control Power’s essence, while the other wasn’t weak either; he possessed Massive Strength Attributes. Even when the opponent used the essence of Environmental Control Power to vaguely control the heavens and earth, the other could use massive strength to destroy this control.

Thus, the fight became completely captivating.

However, in Jia Yan’s view, this level of fighting appeared quite juvenile. Although both sides had relatively strong fighting capabilities, frankly speaking, any Respect-Level Genius in the Genius Battlefield could easily defeat them.

Therefore, he didn’t watch too attentively.

”I want to find a way to quickly return to the Genius Battlefield within this Biochemical Starfield. Doing things as in the Northern Starfield is too difficult, and controlling a country to use resources to create a launch; not to mention that I don’t possess such advanced technology, even if I did, using too many resources might cause a commotion and potentially attract Lord Huo Qu.”

Jia Yan knew the one who attacked him last time was a renowned Stellar-Level ’Huo Qu’ in the Biochemical Starfield.

He learned about Huo Qu’s information only after arriving in the Biochemical Starfield and connecting to their network to check Huo Qu’s data.

Through the search, Jia Yan understood that Huo Qu was a Stellar-Level powerhouse with high fame throughout the Biochemical Starfield and controlled a massive power. So he knew revealing his identity in the Biochemical Starfield would be dangerous.

”Therefore, finding a fast return method not only needs to utilize the local technology but also see if there’s a ready-made way... Hmm?”

Just as Jia Yan was silently pondering, he saw the advertisement board of the Wei Tian Martial Arts Temple Power, which unexpectedly had the keywords ’Genius Battlefield’ on it!

Unexpectedly seeing the words of Genius Battlefield here, this is...

Jia Yan hurriedly glanced at the advertisement board again, then his expression turned peculiar.

It turned out that this advertisement board from the Weitian Power claimed that performing well in their martial arts tournament might lead to an invitation to the Genius Battlefield, offering a chance to enter a city in the Biochemical Star Region for cultivation.

Of course, Jia Yan didn’t believe that this small Weitian Martial Arts Power had such capability. Their strongest person was merely a Semi-permanent Star Level, and such an ad was at most a gimmick.

However, the advertisement board brought a glimmer of hope to Jia Yan’s heart.

Since there was information about the Genius Battlefield here, and it seemed to be popular, he felt a sliver of hope in finding his way back to the Genius Battlefield.

”An entry to the Genius Battlefield? And what about the martial arts battle? I need to find out more.”

With a slight excitement in his heart, Jia Yan intended to retreat and search for related information in the Superfast Battleship in subspace. Unexpectedly, one of the Respect-Level Beings on the battle platform, after inviting a Respectable One from another power and getting no response, turned and saw Jia Yan standing there in the starry sky.

He directly pointed at him.

”Hey, you there, flying creature friend, do you dare to come up and challenge me?!”

He laughed heartily: ”I’ve already won three matches today. Could it be your power doesn’t have a single Respect-Level genius who can fight me? Come on, let me see the strength of your power.”

Whoosh.

Just with this one sentence, the whole starry sky, with hundreds of large cameras, turned to focus on Jia Yan.

In the starry sky around, countless spectators were standing. This was near the main star of a certain power. Although the population wasn’t vast, the live spectators were at least in the millions. In front of media cameras, countless local beings saw Jia Yan’s image.

”Damn it!”

Jia Yan was almost furious. He wanted to stay low-profile, but unexpectedly got caught up and was mistaken for a member of another power.

He hadn’t even been here for a week!

Jia Yan felt like crying without tears.

”Young man, don’t be afraid to lose. As an administrator of this power, I assure you that if you win, you’ll be duly rewarded.”

In the starry sky beside him, a Brainwave Power suddenly transmitted over hundreds of kilometers to Jia Yan’s ears.

This was from a Semi-permanent Star Level. Jia Yan turned his gaze, and the other’s strength was quite formidable, barely reaching the level of an ordinary genius at the Semi-permanent Star Level.

He was a member of the administration of that power.

You should know that the battles with the Weitian Martial Arts Power were taken very seriously by this power. The previous challenges all ended with a great victory for Weitian Power, prompting this power to make an effort to regain some face this time.

However, unexpectedly, Weitian Power found a respected being on the stage who won three consecutive matches, causing even their Respect-Level to be defeated, unable to achieve an opening victory. The upcoming Secondary Level and Semi-permanent Star Level battles were in danger.

So now, seeing the respected being on stage pointing out an unfamiliar respected being offstage, and using Brainwave Power to scan and sense the unusual power waves from Jia Yan, he was overjoyed.

While he was dignified in speaking encouraging words to Jia Yan, he also sent a message.

”Young man, I know you might not belong to our power, but please help us this one time. Regardless of winning or losing, I’ll express our gratitude. If it gets really dangerous later, just admit defeat. We won’t force you.”

The unfamiliarity of Jia Yan made him suspect that Jia Yan wasn’t from this power. After all, although there were many Respectful Ones in the power, they weren’t that numerous, and with Jia Yan’s distinct power waves, if he were from their power, he would have definitely heard of him. The fact that he hadn’t, implied he was an Outsider.

But now, in this urgent situation, for the sake of the power’s honor, it didn’t matter if he was an Outsider. If he could win, save face for this power, and make up some identity, it would suffice.

”Uh... calling me young man?”

Jia Yan almost blushed in his old mosquito form.

Back on Earth, in his hometown, even his niece could get married, and here he was being called a young man, which felt somewhat strange.

However, he also understood that if he removed his battle armor, the life waves of his mosquito form could make anyone see he had lived for at most just a few decades. Among Respect-Level beings, he was indeed considered young. Moreover, the speaking Semi-permanent Star Level administrator could be several hundred to over a thousand years old, so calling him a young man wasn’t inaccurate.

”Fight or not?” Jia Yan hesitated.
