Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 1564: Chapter 22: Not Completely Good Intentions [Request for Official Subscription]

Above the sky, the battleship continuously spewing forth fires of artillery onto the planet, with its main cannon and secondary cannons causing scenes akin to nuclear eruptions on the planet’s surface with every blast.

It should be known that these are extremely advanced Feiheng Force warships, each capable of devastating powers.

Of course, in front of Mosquito Jia Yan, such battleships are merely jokes.

When this battleship was rampaging, the semi-permanent star-level creature inside it was smiling, thinking the mission would conclude perfectly once more.

A metallic creature over 300 meters in size appeared beside the battleship.

”Hmm? This is... not good!”

Though semi-permanent star level, when that metallic flying creature appeared, the semi-permanent star-level creature inside the battleship was the first to react.

”G-Giant Mosquito! Impossible!”

The semi-permanent star-level creature clearly recognized the suddenly appearing being, and its entire demeanor was almost trembling.

Despite being semi-permanent star level, believing himself to be among the top hundred in the Feiheng Force, he was completely outmatched compared to the Giant Mosquito.

Even the Lord of the Feiheng Force, Lord Bitan, could only match the Giant Mosquito in strength, and was even severely injured in a previous defensive battle. It should be noted that Lord Bitan was at a pseudo stellar level.

Against such a Giant Mosquito, he absolutely could not win!

”Escape! Quickly!”

Immediately, without even attempting resistance, he issued an order to flee.

His reaction speed was indisputably swift.

But to Jia Yan, it’s just a joke.

Almost in a playful manner, Jia Yan slowly extended his forelimb.

The protective shield was like a bubble, disintegrating upon contact with the forelimb.

The forelimb pierced straight into the surface of the battleship, stabbing into the command cabin.

The semi-permanent star-level creature was just beneath the forelimb, and upon seeing it approaching slowly, he almost felt he was facing an unprecedented enemy, spitting out a mouthful of red liquid.

”Poison?”

Outside the battleship, Jia Yan shook his head slightly; although some species among creatures rely on toxins for combat, powerful creatures often have strong immunity against toxins, not impervious to all, but close.

Simply put, using poison still requires power, and the toxin power of this semi-permanent star-level creature posed no threat to Jia Yan.

The battle armor was even less afraid of poison and directly ignored the toxin, targeting the semi-permanent star-level creature below, stabbing.

”Lord Giant Mosquito, let’s talk, didn’t we sign a peace agreement? Perhaps there’s been a mistake!”

Facing up to Jia Yan’s forelimb, the semi-permanent star-level creature felt as if facing the universe, unable to escape. He hurriedly emitted his brainwave power, seeking a chance of survival.

”Agreement? When did I sign an agreement with you?” Jia Yan sneered, the speed of his forelimb’s strike increased by ten percent.

”Damn it, you don’t keep your word...”

The semi-permanent star-level creature roared almost instantly, then was fiercely penetrated by the forelimb.

Hidden inside the battleship, the semi-permanent star-level creature was no match for Jia Yan.

And upon killing this semi-permanent star-level creature, Jia Yan released his brainwave power, nearly all creatures inside the battleship died instantly.

Below on the planet with blaring alarms, all Imperial people seeing this scene either through power or a war broadcast, were utterly stunned.

”Giant Mosquito? Am I seeing things?”

”He, he, he, unbelievably with just one strike, caused the entire crew of the battleship, unable for our whole planet to contend, to perish completely, this strength...”

”No matter what, we’ve been saved! Long live Elder Giant Mosquito!”

”Long live Elder Giant Mosquito!”

The entire planet’s Imperial people cheered fervently.

Especially inside where houses were almost collapsing, one of two men, the one holding a remote control, clutched his pendant tightly, seemingly in extreme fervor.

”The Mosquito God indeed answered my prayers; my faith in the Mosquito God was right, haha.”

The other man was equally dumbfounded.

”To worship Lord Giant Mosquito, it seems not a mistake, could he truly hear our prayers?” He hesitated.

”Did you see that? So, come, join me in worshiping Giant Mosquito. I know there aren’t many in our Empire who believe in the Giant Mosquito; I’m preparing to establish a branch of the Mosquito God Sect in our Empire. Come, do it with me, brother.”

”Uh.” The middle-aged man who was about to leave froze.

”Come on, let’s do it together. From now on, I am the sect’s hierarch, and you are the vice sect hierarch. If we do well, there might be a chance to meet the Mosquito God Lord. Didn’t your daughter want to go to Earth? If you work with me, I’ll definitely arrange it, how about that?”

”Vice, vice sect hierarch? I’m in!” The other middle-aged man hearing such a high position, agreed directly without much thought.

Thus, the first Mosquito God sect established within the Great Empire appeared.

Jia Yan, who was in the sky above this planet, was completely unaware that his first appearance in the Great Empire had surprisingly resulted in the creation of a sect.

After destroying this battleship, he didn’t care about the wreckage floating in the universe and flew directly towards the farther frontlines.

Soon after, the matter of ’Elder Giant Mosquito’ appearing within the Great Empire’s territory spread explosively across media and the internet!

”The Lord Giant Mosquito came to help our Great Empire!?”

”Great, great, Elder Giant Mosquito stepped in, our Great Empire will no longer suffer hardships.”

”I heard someone claiming to be from the Earth Mosquito God sect appeared on the planet saved by Elder Giant Mosquito. Let’s join this sect too; it’s said that joining will grant the protection of Elder Giant Mosquito.”

The entire Great Empire was shaken.

Even the newly established Mosquito God sect branch, although self-proclaimed, instantly gathered far more followers than the Earth Mosquito God sect.

After all, the total population of the Great Empire far exceeds that of Earth’s civilization.

And this suddenly appearing Giant Mosquito, without anyone approaching him, after saving a planet, directly flew to a frontline where the Great Empire and Feiheng Forces were confronting each other, then without a word, launched an attack towards Feiheng Forces!

The Feiheng Forces fleet, which couldn’t be defeated even with tenfold the number of battleships, had absolutely no resistance against the terrifying strength of the Giant Mosquito.

Without any prepared artificial black holes, they were like fish on the chopping board to the Giant Mosquito, and in less than an hour, were slaughtered into pieces. Coupled with the following pursuit by the Great Empire Fleet, less than one-fifth of them could escape.

A great victory, an absolute great victory!

This defensive line victory also quickly spread explosively across media and the internet. The search heat for the words Giant Mosquito and Mosquito God ranked high among keyword searches.

Of course, for most people in the Great Empire, the appearance of the Giant Mosquito was a good thing, but for some people in the Great Empire, it wasn’t so simple.

They were exactly the upper echelons of the Great Empire!

It’s naturally good that the Giant Mosquito came to help, but whether there might be some conspiracy behind this help is what they need to consider.

”Gentlemen, please analyze the purpose of the Giant Mosquito’s appearance.”

In the absolute core and most heavily defended place of the Great Empire—a planet named ’Empire Star’, a being that looked very much like a middle-aged Earth man, gazed at dozens of top-level beings below and asked calmly.

He wore a crown, his demeanor imposing without anger, and held in his hand the symbol representing the supreme authority of the Great Empire—the Imperial Scepter.

His identity was none other than the Emperor of the Great Empire, even the absolute first power holder inside the entire Orion Arm!

In front of the Emperor was a holographic screen showing scenes of the Giant Mosquito fighting on the frontline.

That incredibly fearful combat power tore apart the Feiheng Forces fleet, which the Great Empire fleet couldn’t resist, into pieces instantly, making the Emperor’s face extremely solemn.

”Your Majesty, I believe the Giant Mosquito is innately kind. After helping places like Earth’s civilization, he came to aid our Great Empire out of his natural tendencies.”

A refined official stood up, but his answer appeared somewhat idealistic.

Naturally, another official immediately sneered.

”I believe this Giant Mosquito definitely has an agenda. Our Great Empire hasn’t had any contact with him, so why would he come from afar to help? Although I personally hope he helps us against our enemies, we can’t ignore the possibility of an unclear intent of the Giant Mosquito.”

Evidently, his words gained more agreement, leaving the previous speaking refined official almost wanting to find a hole to hide in.

However, the Emperor merely wanted to hear the general officials’ opinions. Ultimately, he turned his gaze to the side of his throne.

There, there were two more seats, only slightly lower than the Emperor’s height. But the beings sitting on them were far taller than the Emperor, making them appear even more majestic.

”Two Seniors, what are your thoughts on this Giant Mosquito?” The Emperor asked.

It turned out that sitting beside him were the Great Empire’s so-called two supreme strong beings: one entirely fiery red called Flame, and the other completely green named Tu Fu.

”I think this Giant Mosquito is not entirely well-intentioned.” Tu Fu glanced at Flame, seeing he didn’t want to speak, so he spoke first.

”Then Sir Tu Fu, what do you suggest we do against this?” Hearing that the Giant Mosquito might not be well-intentioned, the Emperor’s face changed slightly.

It’s known that the strong of Feiheng Forces are scary, but such a force to single-handedly stand against Feiheng Forces’ strong individuals is even scarier.

Tu Fu momentarily paused.

He said the Giant Mosquito might not be well-intentioned, but hadn’t thought about how to respond.

His strength was one of the two strongest in the Great Empire. But with the increasingly intense warfare now, he already understood that his power, not to mention against top-tier strong, even inside the Feiheng Forces, a small secondary level could thrash him utterly.
