Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

The Imperial Fleet scattered like mad, with a few ships flying towards the Fei Heng force, claiming that they would provide space surveillance equipment within the Empire to help Fei Heng track the departure of the Giant Mosquito.

In short, we are exerting great efforts, but all of this has nothing to do with the Giant Mosquito!

”How could this happen? Damn, Giant Mosquito!”

Not far from this area, Bitan, the lord of the Fei Heng force, who had happily come rushing, almost spat out a mouthful of old blood once again.

He always felt that nothing good would happen if he encountered the Giant Mosquito.

”My Lord, what should we do now? I see that the Great Empire must be involved in this matter, and if Lord wishes, we could attack their empire right now and directly destroy this civilization.”

A subordinate of the Fei Heng force asked seriously beside Bitan.

As a senior member of the Fei Heng force, he understood how crucial the Empire’s essence blood was to Fei Heng, especially to the mysterious presence behind them, who was willing to assist Fei Heng in the expansion of the Biochemical Star Region because Fei Heng promised to obtain the essence blood and offer it.

Now that the essence blood was taken by the Giant Mosquito, that presence might become exceedingly upset.

”The Great Empire is not so easily destroyed. Even before I came, I had a sense that inside the Orion Arm, there seems to be a mysterious presence that has always been watching over Fei Heng’s affairs. We’ve fought to this point, and it’s already the limit of this presence. If we further attempt to destroy the Great Empire, the foundational civilization in the Orion Arm, he will act.”

Bitan shook his head and smiled bitterly.

The subordinate was stunned, and then showed a look of disbelief.

He hadn’t sensed any mysterious presence; perhaps such a presence could only be perceived by those who had reached Pseudo Stellar Level or even higher ranks.

”There’s actually such a presence? Wouldn’t that mean he’ll prevent us from obtaining the essence blood?”

This subordinate was almost overwhelmingly serious.

”No, the presence seems to have some restrictions; the essence blood issue doesn’t entirely affect the future of the Orion Arm, so he won’t appear. But if you want to destroy the Great Empire, that’s another story.”

While Bitan and his subordinates were troubled by Jia Yan’s matters, in another direction of the starry sky, Jia Yan’s true body was hiding on a certain uninhabited celestial body, looking at the exquisite little box at his feet, and his Giant Mosquito Compound Eyes revealed an extremely excited expression.

Little did he know that the remnant will of Predecessor Tian Ji still protected the Orion Arm, so even if he, the Giant Mosquito, didn’t show up, this war was destined to approach its end.

However, he was aware of one thing, that obtaining the essence blood himself was something the remnant will of Predecessor Tian Ji would rather see compared to the Fei Heng force getting it.

”The essence blood obtained this time is definitely authentic, and it’s fully eighty percent!”

Jia Yan was quite satisfied with the Empire’s tactfulness, so if the Fei Heng force really wanted to continue attacking, he wouldn’t hesitate to step in, at least to repay the Empire’s favor this time.

”Well then, although my body is still digesting the diluted essence blood energy from last time, I am not too far from being able to swallow the essence blood...”

”Stellar Level!”

A different color exploded again in Jia Yan’s eyes, and he became extremely expectant.

Currently, he could not use the essence blood, so he only put away the eighty percent essence blood carefully, not even daring to open the small box to look inside, just feeling the purity of the essence blood was reassuring enough.

”However, even the diluted four percent essence blood from before is still useful. Although my body can no longer absorb it, they are diluted from the pure essence blood of the Evolutionary Creature Predecessor, akin to an energy source for technological machinery, almost without major incompatibility, so it’s also one of my trump cards.”

Jia Yan secured both types of essence blood, then began to ponder future promotion matters.

Stellar Level is right before him, and it’s a Dignitary-level direct promotion, skipping the Secondary Level and Semi-permanent Star Level, a more rapid path compared to ordinary strong ones’ promotion path, though it bears greater risks, but Jia Yan was fearless.

”Considering the time, has the Adisa barely covered half the distance?”

Jia Yan calculated speed and time, even though the Adisa coming to the Orion Arm was fast, it likely had covered only half the journey, but Jia Yan couldn’t wait for it to arrive.

Jia Yan was contemplating how to quickly return to the Genius Battlefield; otherwise, he felt unsure about ascending within the Orion Arm.

”In the Orion Arm, there’s no quick way to travel. In the surrounding starfields...”

”Biochemical Star Region?! This...is too dangerous.” Jia Yan hesitated for almost a moment.

However, in the nearby strong starfields around the Orion Arm, only the Biochemical Star Region had the advantage, as it enveloped half of the Orion Arm. No stronger regions and no lesser distance were as vastly challenging.

The prudent method is to wait in the Orion Arm for Adisa to come in ten years, then spend another twenty years heading toward the Genius Battlefield.

”Impossible. For all the years of my mosquito life, now another promotion requires waiting for decades, isn’t that wasting precious time?”

Jia Yan even thought of promoting within the Orion Arm, but recalling the benefits of promoting in the Genius Battlefield, he couldn’t bear to give up.

Just when Jia Yan was in a dilemma, a major event occurred within the Orion Arm.

This event had a massive impact, causing almost all civilizations in the Orion Arm to experience a turning point in their fate.

That was the retreat of the Feiheng Force that had suffered several setbacks!

That’s right, upon learning that the Essence Blood was captured by the Giant Mosquito, the Feiheng Force retreated!

The only difference was that Bitan, leading over a dozen Semi-permanent Star Creatures, formed a strong team and headed towards Jia Yan’s last known location, searching for him.

Their judgment was very accurate; in the current war, large armies were no longer effective. After all, except for the Giant Mosquito, these over a dozen strong creatures were almost invincible within the Orion Arm. So they simply withdrew the army and used their mobility as strong ones to find Jia Yan.

Regarding the Essence Blood, they couldn’t give it up.

”This Giant Mosquito is at the Secondary Level. Although very powerful, it absolutely can’t use the Essence Blood. Either it is currently fleeing, preparing to offer the Essence Blood to some Stellar Level for benefits, or it is keeping it for itself, to use after it advances to Stellar Level.”

”And regardless of which possibility, there can’t be any accidents with the Essence Blood, so if we can intercept it, we certainly can still obtain the Essence Blood.”

Bitan and a group of experts analyzed it this way, still harboring thoughts of snatching the Essence Blood from Jia Yan.

If they could get this Essence Blood, their years of attacking the Orion Arm would be complete, but if they couldn’t seize it, it would all be for naught. The only benefit would be Bitan’s advancement to Pseudo Stellar Level, which, however, caused their lord to have ill feelings towards them.

”Will the Giant Mosquito leave the Orion Arm after obtaining the Essence Blood? I don’t think it belongs to the Orion Arm.”

”Lord, why don’t we go to Earth? It’s said that Jia Yan on Earth is its disciple. If we threaten Earth’s safety, perhaps we can lure the Giant Mosquito out.”

Several strong ones strategized.

”No, we are all strong ones; we should understand that for strong ones, any disciple is fleeting. Moreover, Earth should not be the Mother Star for this Giant Mosquito, so it has no reason to risk its life to save it. Going there would just be futile. We’d better search well within this vast empire’s territory.”

Over a dozen Semi-permanent Star Level strong ones drove single-warrior warships, moving within the Great Empire’s territory as if it were uninhabited, yet the Great Empire didn’t dare to stop them at all.

Even the Great Empire didn’t know Jia Yan’s whereabouts at that time. Watching the over a dozen Semi-permanent Star Level, along with a Pseudo Stellar Level strong one, searching throughout the empire, almost no one dared to speak up about it.

They prayed that Jia Yan might not actually be within the empire’s borders, or else if such a group of strong ones started fighting, who knows what kind of loss the Great Empire might suffer.

But sometimes, luck is so unfortunate!

Jia Yan had been secluded inside that celestial body, researching the Essence Blood and his future promotion, not even having time to watch the media news seen by the Superfast Battleship.

That day, he figured out his path.

”Even though the Biochemical Star Region is extremely dangerous, it’s not solely dominated by the Feiheng Force. As long as I keep away from the Feiheng Force, and understand which Stellar Level supports them, and keep a distance, there shouldn’t be much danger. After all, Stellar Level isn’t Galaxy Level, they can’t traverse the starry sky instantaneously either.”

Thinking of this, Jia Yan’s heart settled a bit, and without more thought, he boarded the Superfast Battleship, intending to pilot it out of the Great Empire’s borders, towards the Biochemical Star Region.

But just at this moment, a Semi-permanent Star Level powerhouse from the Feiheng Force happened to be patrolling in this starry sky.

Covering dozens of light years of the Great Empire’s territory, it wasn’t easy to find Jia Yan’s location easily. However, calculating the direction and considering there were only a few places he could hide, encountering Jia Yan was indeed very possible.

Thus, they encountered each other!

”Giant Mosquito!” Seeing the Superfast Battleship, the Semi-permanent Star Creature was utterly shocked.

”Not good!”

Initially, he should have been happy upon seeing the Giant Mosquito, but he suddenly realized he was alone at that moment, causing his heart to skip wildly, swiftly piloting the warship to retreat backward.

However, how could this warship’s speed compare with the Superfast Battleship?

When Jia Yan saw the warship retreat swiftly upon encountering him, he was also startled inside.

After sensing the strength of the strong one inside the warship, Jia Yan quickly understood that this was a Semi-permanent Star Level strong one from the Feiheng Force. After all, besides the Feiheng Force, no other civilization or force within the Orion Arm possessed Semi-permanent Star Levels.

”Since you sought me out and have found me, why still attempt to flee?!”
