Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 1561: Chapter 19 Summation [Request for Official Subscription]

In such a favorable battle, the commanders of the Orion Arm Fleet suspected whether they were still facing the Feiheng Forces Fleet that had been relentlessly pursuing them every day.

Regardless of the reason, as long as the opponent’s lord did not appear, the full combat power of the Elder Giant Mosquito was unleashed. They only needed to follow behind the Elder, continuously killing and slaughtering! What a massacre!

Exhilarating!!

The retreating Feiheng Forces Fleet was almost stunned. Especially the warships gathering the black holes at the rear—they didn’t even have time to finish retracting the black holes, and the battleships chasing the Giant Mosquito in front retreated like a tidal wave.

”What’s the matter? A defeat? Wh- why?”

The commanders of these warships had no time to react before being swept up in the retreat with the fleet around them.

The phrase ”a broken army collapses like a landslide” applies just as well in cosmic battles, and the larger the scale of the fleet battle, the more this holds true.

Even if some fleet commanders wanted a counterattack boost, the surge from allied ships around them forced them to retreat and join the fleeing army.

As a result, this battle, which originally had such a disparity between the two sides, turned the situation around. The Feiheng Squadron Army, previously holding a significant advantage, became a pack of beaten dogs, suffering a crushing defeat.

The pursuit and skirmish continued for over a billion kilometers, with more than thirty thousand Feiheng warships directly losing half of their number.

This battle was earth-shattering.

Finally, at the edge of the warzone, the speed-dominant Feiheng warships managed to accelerate, with some quickly escaping or turning back to fight.

Meanwhile, the Orion Arm side’s fleet also began to experience heavy casualties and finally stopped the pursuit.

Post-battle tally of results.

The Giant Mosquito was undoubtedly credited with the highest war merit, single-handedly destroying over half of the enemy ships. In fact, the real reason for the enemy’s retreat was due to the Giant Mosquito’s presence. Otherwise, how could the Orion Arm Allied Forces Fleet alone create such a huge impact?

Unexpectedly, the second-highest war merit went to the Earth forces!

The Earth Civilization dispatched a fleet of only three hundred ships to this warzone, led by a very young female Earth commander. Yet, this time the Earth Fleet performed exceptionally, coordinating silently with the Giant Mosquito on several occasions.

Though the Earth Fleet seemed small in number, they quietly destroyed over seven hundred enemy ships—an astonishing feat.

While the Earth Fleet’s performance was shocking, when senior commanders of various civilizations learned about Master Jia Yan being within the Earth Fleet, they all understood.

With this great figure present, achieving great war merit couldn’t have been easier even if they didn’t aim for it.

Next were the various major civilizations, some destroying three hundred ships, others two hundred, and some even losing more ships than they destroyed, leaving them in tears.

Overall, it was a tremendous victory, especially since this triumph set the grand strategy for this entire location in the Orion Arm.

From that day on, the Orion Arm Fleet almost flaunted themselves before the enemy camp, and no Feiheng Forces dared to come out and confront them.

This battle spread like wildfire across all major media and networks in the Orion Arm almost instantly.

”What? The Giant Mosquito led the Restoration Alliance Army to utterly rout the enemy’s massive fleet, unprecedented in size!”

”Not only that, but the primary power of the Feiheng Force, the supreme figure Bitan, unbelievably lost in a single combat scenario to the Lord Giant Mosquito, not daring to face the battle at the end?”

”Marvelous, such an overwhelming victory is nearly the biggest counterattack by the Orion Arm against the Feiheng Force. Even for Feiheng, this battle left them severely weakened.”

The media and the public were not mistaken.

After this battle, the Feiheng Force indeed suffered a severe blow.

The loss of warships was enormous. Previously, their fleets of a thousand ships could consecutively conquer several civilizations. Yet, in this battle, over ten thousand ships were lost like this.

Keep in mind, the Feiheng Force is only considered a small to medium civilization in the Biochemical Star Region. It would take them a long time to assemble such a large number of advanced warships again.

Beyond ship and personnel losses, more important was that the leader of the Feiheng Force—Bitan, the Pseudo Stellar Level being, lost to the Giant Mosquito once again despite significant power progress. Furthermore, after this battle, the rapid power advancement caused unstable injuries, theoretically reducing their strength by almost half in a few years.

”We mustn’t let the Giant Mosquito know about the lord’s current injury situation, or they will certainly seize the opportunity to attack.”

The giant army facing the Giant Mosquito-led Orion Arm Allied Forces was now in a state of nervous panic.

This was an emotion they had never thought they’d feel before.

Previously, even a single fleet or just a few warships dared to attack a civilization, but now they were cowering in one place, afraid to fight.

And in the center of the Feiheng Forces Fleet, on a massive mothership over ten kilometers long, a creature a kilometer in size lay silently on the bridge.

His breath was almost imperceptible, as if he were in an extremely weakened state.

”Lord Bitan, how are you feeling today.”

A subordinate approached the monster and asked.

The crouching monster lifted its eyelids lightly, not even having the strength to open its mouth, and replied using brainwave power.

”I’m fine, how’s the battle going today?”

”Reporting to the Lord, today is no different from usual, it seems that the Giant Mosquito doesn’t intend to launch a direct attack, but is only inviting battle outside our forces.”

”Let’s just rest here for a while, wait until I recover slightly, then...”

At this point, Bitan shook his head and sighed, ”Then let’s abandon the results here. After all, our main goal in coming to the Orion Arm was for the Great Empire, and since there’s no progress on this front, we might as well give it up. The Giant Mosquito probably won’t chase us all the way down.”

The subordinate, who originally hoped the Lord would speak of a counterattack, widened his eyes at these words, not expecting his recently promoted lord, who had been overconfident, would say such things.

Abandon the entire starry sky?

That is to say, Feiheng forces have bowed to the Giant Mosquito...

The subordinate moved his mouth, wanting to say something, but the words stuck in his throat and he swallowed them back.

The Lord, having recently broken through to the pseudo stellar level, couldn’t even counter the Giant Mosquito. More importantly, the Lord’s strength was now only half of what it was, and continuing to fight would be nothing but suicidal. It’s better to negotiate while the other side is unclear about our depth, and then focus all efforts on the side of the Great Empire.

Days later, the warships of the Orion Arm, which were inviting battle outside, surprisingly received a communication request from the Feiheng forces.

Upon seeing this request, the commander of the inviting battle fleet wore a strange expression.

”Truce?”

Before long, this communication content reached Jia Yan, who was standing by nearby to prevent a counterattack from the other side.

Of course, this Jia Yan was not the Mosquito Jia Yan, but the Earth Fleet’s Avatar Jia Yan.

As the so-called ’disciple’ of the Giant Mosquito, Jia Yan had previously remained calm in the face of danger, even teasing the upper echelons of the Feiheng forces before calmly escaping from their army, infuriating the enemy and greatly satisfying his own side, thus elevating his prestige to the extreme once again.

While not as esteemed as the Giant Mosquito, because of his approachable nature and not being elusive like the Mosquito God, his popularity was even higher.

Coupled with being the disciple of the Giant Mosquito, this truce request ended up with him first.

Avatar Jia Yan chuckled coldly.

Although he didn’t know what problem arose within the Feiheng forces, upon further consideration, it became apparent that the so-called Lord Bitan must have had some physical issues.

Otherwise, why would someone who couldn’t get along with the Giant Mosquito’s true body not appear in such a scale of battle to stop his own side’s defeat?

”Do they just want us to withdraw? How naïve.”

Avatar Jia Yan’s eyes gleamed with sharpness.

”They must want to spare effort and focus entirely on the Great Empire. From what I know, since a minor victory some time ago, the Great Empire has been repeatedly defeated. If the fleet here disengages, the Great Empire’s destruction is just a thought away.”

Jia Yan wasn’t trying to rescue the Great Empire, but he understood that a major reason the Feiheng forces came to the Orion Arm was for treasures within the Great Empire, most likely targeting the Senior Tian Ji’s blood.

”I am determined to obtain this blood. Other things aside, if the Feiheng forces attempt to seize the blood, that’s not something I want to see.”

”But under the current circumstances, how should I respond? If we really start fighting them again, it’s uncertain whether we can win again, and it seems like there are already many differing voices within our Orion Arm Army, wanting to retreat.”

After several significant victories, the battle lines on this battlefield have been drawn extremely forward, almost reaching the Kawai Defense Line. The forces participating in this engagement are primarily civilizations from Earth’s theater, far removed from their homeland, and continuing to fight would hardly be beneficial to them.

The Giant Mosquito certainly would not allow them to divide the conquered lands, so some are already unwilling to continue fighting.

”Since these Feiheng forces want a truce, you might respond by saying it’s possible. But we require reparations,” Jia Yan said calmly.

After much thought, he finally determined that he could no longer refuse their request at this moment.

Even though he understood that their fleet’s strength was far inferior to when the war first started, he was also aware that his side faced the same situation.

And if the Giant Mosquito’s true body went alone to start a battle, Jia Yan didn’t believe a well-prepared enemy would be wiped out by the Giant Mosquito alone. It’s important to note that their black hole strategy still poses a significant threat to Jia Yan now.
