Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

”Now we will present the Lord Level Champion Rewards!”

King Er Ding personally flew up to the battle stage, revealing a faint smile towards Jia Yan, as if pleased by the junior. It seemed as though Jia Yan had met his expectations.

Yet currently, Jia Yan was almost someone he wanted dead.

You should know that within the Elong Power, although there were those like King Er Bian who were friendly towards Jia Yan, most of the higher-ups were not so kind, especially this commentator King Er Ding. When commentating on Jia Yan, a terrifying genius capable of wiping out their own talent, how could his mood be good?

”Thank you, King Er Ding.”

Jia Yan ignored the hidden murderous intent in King Er Ding’s eyes, merely nodding in response.

He understood that even the organizers of the Genius Battlefield wouldn’t dare act against him here; after all, within this grand event, there must be a Stellar-level senior observing. No talent within the entire Genius Battlefield could afford to provoke the power of a Stellar-level strong one. With such a senior watching the battles, he had no fear of threats from the other party.

Even more so, Jia Yan was confident that the senior observing this Genius Battle was Longta. With this friendly senior lurking in the shadows, he feared nothing.

King Er Ding took out a box, a container that was different from the reward boxes Jia Yan had received from other battles in the Genius Battlefield, and it was extremely exquisite.

What moved Jia Yan even more was the powerful energy fluctuation emanating from within the box, stirring his interest.

After all, it was a reward from a mighty force, obviously incomparable to the rewards from the previous Genius Battles!

Once King Er Ding had given the prize box to Jia Yan, he seemed not to want another look at him, flying back to the high platform.

Jia Yan then joined the queue of the Tornado Force’s talents.

Although everyone wanted to see what the top rewards of the 132 Star Zone Genius Battle were, Jia Yan was not one of their Tornado Force, so they all wisely kept their distance.

Jia Yan went to the rest area of the force. Thanks to King Er Bian’s special treatment, there was a sizable rest room for the Tornado Force, where Jia Yan could take a moment to examine the contents of the rewards.

He used his Brainwave Power to open the box.

”As expected, there are quite a few good things.” Upon seeing the items in the reward box, a flash of joy crossed the Compound Eyes of Jia Yan.

Within the reward box, there were quite a few valuable items, such as a Star Core, and even three Space stones.

There were also various Energy Materials and mining products that Jia Yan could or could not use.

In the Universe, not all things are universally useful, but energy is the one thing that no Species can refuse. And to Jia Yan, the Evolutionary Creature, energy is of utmost importance -- all of the rewards were exactly what he desired!

Outside, on the battle stage that had witnessed sacred level combat, there were some entertainment shows, and the audience needed some rest as well. Not every creature had the patience to watch the Genius Battle to the end, especially since the Elong Power had many talents, and just the Lord Level battles had already taken several Earth days.

Jia Yan took this opportunity during the mid-battle break to make use of this energy.

”I should have some confidence in the upcoming Secondary Powerhouse fight, although I have no idea how strong those Intermediate Geniuses are. However, the bigger obstacle is the Semi-permanent Star Level Battles! So if I don’t take this chance to strengthen myself during this break, only defeat awaits me!”

Jia Yan understood that his current strength, although much improved compared to before, was fated to lose when up against those powerful Semi-permanent Star Level Geniuses from the 132 Star Zone.

While he didn’t really entertain the thought of winning a Semi-permanent Star Level Genius Battle, he would not pass up an opportunity to fight.

During the intermission, Jia Yan stayed in the resting room all the time.

Condensation Fluid slowly emerged, and piles of Energy Stones on the ground were quickly absorbed by Jia Yan.

”My newly promoted body can’t absorb much energy. It seems that if nothing unexpected happens later, even if I win the Secondary Level championship, I won’t be able to absorb the rewards, because my body will already be saturated.”

Watching the speed of the Condensation Fluid absorption, Jia Yan understood that this Devouring was only a temporary phenomenon, and later, even if there were resources available, he wouldn’t be able to absorb them.

”However, it’s just right that I absorb now; there will be a cushioning battle in the Secondary Level fight to help me digest. Then when it comes to the Semi-permanent Star Level battle, I’ll be able to exert the strongest power...”

Jia Yan was looking forward to the battles that lay ahead.

The mid-battle entertainment program was a comedy performance beloved by the 132 Star Zone citizens, such as Brainwave Power geniuses performing some comical actions, etc. Although Jia Yan couldn’t understand where the humor was in these performances, most of the audience enjoyed them immensely.

Meanwhile, a segment of the viewers was still dissatisfied with Jia Yan’s previous victory in the Lord Level battles.

”That underhanded Dignitary must have used some unknown method; otherwise, how could he have won against Intermediate Geniuses? And some people insist he’s a High-level Genius. A country bumpkin from the 251 Star Zone, a High-level Genius? It’s a joke.”

”That’s right, I didn’t compete in this edition of the Lord Level, otherwise, I would’ve made it so that Jia Yan’s parents wouldn’t recognize him.”

”Uh... didn’t you rank over two thousand one hundred and fifty last time? Just forget it. Nonetheless, we can’t allow such a shady Dignitary to take away our 132 Star Zone’s rewards. We’ll definitely report this to the Genius Battlefield authority later.”

While these groups of viewers, who were not very fond of Jia Yan, started making unfriendly remarks, the mid-battle break ended.

”Alright, thank you to the genius performance team from the 132 Star Zone. The intermission is over, and now we will commence the battles of the Secondary Powerhouse Level.”

King Er Ding loudly invoked his Brainwave Power from atop the platform, his voice amplified through the sound system and reaching the ears of each audience member, resonating deeply within the hearts of millions of creatures inside and outside the battle arena.

”Now, let’s welcome the geniuses who are strong enough to participate in the Secondary Level battles. Oh, I have an interesting piece of information to share with everyone. The contestant Jia Yan, who just won our Lord Level championship battle, has also signed up for the Secondary Powerhouse Level battle. Let’s all applaud his courage!”

When King Er Ding’s voice resounded, those in the crowd who had intended to denounce Jia Yan suddenly reacted as if cats with their tails stepped on.

They all leaped to their feet!

”Did you hear that? This Jia Yan actually wants to participate in the Secondary Powerhouse battle! He must think that the Elong Power’s Genius Battlefield is as easy as the minor Genius Battles he competed in before, trying to show off at the Secondary Level. I think he’s gone mad!”

”Exactly, not only has he gone mad, but he’s far too arrogant. But don’t worry, even if Jia Yan tries to rig the game, he won’t be able to cause any trouble at the Secondary Powerhouse Level, after all, there are powerful Intermediate Genius talents in this league. No matter how strong Jia Yan is, even if he truly is a top-level Intermediate Genius, it’s impossible for him to beat another Intermediate Genius, right?”

”That’s right, we’ll wait and see how he loses cleanly at this Secondary Level.”

The audience was frustrated and enraged, but none of this affected Jia Yan.

When King Er Ding announced the start of the Secondary Powerhouse Level battle, Jia Yan, who had been boosting his energy with Condensation Fluid in the resting area, slowly began to move his body.

With his movement, the Condensation Fluid that seemed to melt on the surface of his body quickly solidified. In just a few seconds, it became as indestructible as the Exoskeleton he wore before.

Of course, it was not completely solidified yet and would take some time to become as hard as the original, but for participating in the Secondary Powerhouse battle, Jia Yan did not feel the need for the hardness of an Exoskeleton to defeat his opponent.

”Alright, with about a day of mid-game rest, I’ve probably gained about another ten percent in strength, right?”

Jia Yan looked at his own body, feeling that it couldn’t contain a bit more energy, and indeed, there was still a part of the sacred level Energy mineral left unused, but he could no longer absorb it.

”Fight!”

Feeling newly empowered, Jia Yan walked out of the resting area, his Compound Eyes sparkling vibrantly.

Just outside the resting area, not far away, Tai Jin had been serving as Jia Yan’s Guard for more than a day. As soon as he saw Jia Yan appear, he quickly approached to greet him.

But the next moment, his monstrous form froze!

”This...”

Tai Jin’s eyes widened with an expression of disbelief on his face.

Jia Yan’s strength had increased, and he was in a state of energy overflow, which was unmistakable even if Tai Jin tried to ignore it.

”Jia Yan, did you enhance your power again?” Tai Jin asked somewhat bitterly.

”Yes, but the increase isn’t huge,” Jia Yan nodded in confirmation.

Upon hearing this, Tai Jin almost wanted to curse out loud.

The disparity was too great.

Even though they are also claimed to be geniuses, enhancing their strength even a little bit is extremely difficult and might even pose a risk to their lives without proper preparation.

Yet, Jia Yan easily reached a level of power that even Tai Jin found terrifying, and he called it ’not a big increase’?

Is the Talent of a High-level Genius so heaven-defying and unnerving? How could others even live?

Tai Jin didn’t know what to say to Jia Yan, this beast of a talent, so he could only nod silently.

Then Jia Yan and two contestants from the Tornado Force for the Secondary Powerhouse, went to the contestant preparation area.

King Er Ding continued to explain some rules and even cracked a few jokes to lighten the atmosphere of the arena, and then he announced the beginning of the battles.

”The first Secondary Powerhouse Level battle, begins.”

As the two great Secondary Powerhouses began their fierce battle onstage, Jia Yan’s eyes suddenly shone brightly.

”The speed of these two Secondary Powerhouses seems slower in my eyes. It seems that this increase in strength has indeed taken my abilities to a new level!”

Jia Yan’s heart surged with joy, feeling that the sharpening of skills right before the battle had effectively increased his Brainwave Strength Power by about ten percent, but his overall combat power might have increased more than he originally expected.

”I can’t wait to get on stage and try out the effects in real combat...” Jia Yan was filled with an eager desire to battle.
