Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

The high-ranking Semi-permanent Star Level Strong Ones from the Tornado Force have been somewhat anxious these past few days.

As the battle day of another force’s Genius approaches in a few days, they find that the genius ’Jia Yan’ they invited has still not shown up, and of course, they are worried.

”I said it, we shouldn’t have put too much hope on something without any guarantees. After all, there is no necessity for him to help us.”

A senior member in the Tornado Force shook his head helplessly, but although he said this, his frequent inquiries to the external exploratory signal personnel every few minutes betrayed his true feelings.

”Don’t worry, I believe that Jia Yan will not go back on his word. Let’s wait a little longer. If he still doesn’t show up after a day, we will depart with the younger generation of our force who are participating in the battle.”

Another Semi-permanent Star Level Strong One actually believed in Jia Yan and did not echo his anxious colleague.

”Eh? There’s a report coming in, they’ve seen that battleship of Jia Yan!”

With the words of a Semi-permanent Star Level Strong One, the eyes of several Semi-permanent Star beings in the conference room lit up.

Soon enough, in the Starry Sky, an immense flying vessel slowly approached the outskirts of the Tornado Force.

And several Semi-permanent Star Level Strong Ones from the major Tornado Force flew out to welcome them.

”Lord Jia Yan is quite late.”

As soon as a Semi-permanent Star Genius got close to the massive vessel, he voiced a somewhat reproachful remark.

”What are you talking about? It’s already enough that Mister Jia Yan is willing to help us,” another Semi-permanent Star Strong One countered him.

The two of them, playing good cop and bad cop, essentially meant to remind Jia Yan of the consequences of breaking the agreement.

As they approached, the hangar of the massive vessel also opened, and a dark figure flew out.

”Hehe, my apologies, I was delayed by some business. I ask the Seniors not to blame me,” Jia Yan said as he emerged, his massive Mosquito physique covered in fine-looking scars for some reason.

The appearance of Jia Yan caused the welcoming Strong Ones to marvel; his power was not that of an ordinary Dignitary. Seeing such wounds on his own Battleship suggested he had indeed been busy with some special matters.

A few perceptive Semi-permanent Star Geniuses exchanged glances, feeling a tinge of surprise in their hearts because they had always seen a deep wariness in Jia Yan’s eyes when they had seen him before.

As a Dignitary, it was normal to show wariness towards Semi-permanent Star Level Strong Ones. They had also noticed that Jia Yan had previously intentionally kept his Battleship out of their sight, perhaps to utilize his Space Travel Ability directly to his Battleship and then escape in case of any friction with the Tornado Force.

But now, Jia Yan brazenly brought his Battleship right before them, and the wariness in his demeanor, although still present, had greatly diminished.

Could it be that his power increased again in this short period of time?

The few insightful Semi-permanent Star Geniuses all showed a contemplative expression.

However, they did not voice their thoughts, because even if they did, the other party was not likely to tell the truth. And no matter how wildly they imagined, they would not think that Jia Yan, even with improvements, would reach the same level of combat power as themselves.

”Alright Jia Yan, we’ve already made our preparations. Since you’ve come, why not set off now?”

A Semi-permanent Star Genius, who seemed to rank second in strength within the Tornado Force, said to Jia Yan.

He was not too polite to Jia Yan; after all, even if they rush to the force of the Genius battle, there’s no certainty that they’d make it in time, and even if they did, there would be no time to understand the strength of the participating team—a definite disadvantage.

Jia Yan, of course, agreed.

Not long after, several Tornado Force Battleships appeared in the Starry Sky.

The Semi-permanent Star Geniuses boarded the Battleships, and these vessels merged with Jia Yan’s Adisa.

Then, this fleet of Battleships, along with the Adisa, streaked away like a lightning bolt across the vast Universe!

”Jia Yan, I hope you don’t blame Ruìtáng. He is the most hot-tempered Semi-permanent Star Strong One in our Tornado Force; just don’t take what he said to heart,” said a Semi-permanent Star Genius as he communicated with the Adisa en route, seemingly trying to smooth over the somewhat awkward atmosphere from before.

”It’s okay, I won’t get angry over such a small matter,” Jia Yan replied, lying in front of the screen with no hint of anger in his demeanor.

The other party took a deep look at Jia Yan, and seeing that Big Mosquito truly held no feelings of anger, finally breathed a sigh of relief.

They knew that this mission had gained a significant edge due to the unexpected support from Jia Yan. If Jia Yan were to throw a fit and deliberately underperform in the battle of geniuses, then the Tornado Force’s efforts would be entirely wasted.

”You’re not angry, that’s good to hear. I knew an Intermediate Genius like you wouldn’t be easily influenced by external factors,” said the Stellar creature, praising Jia Yan in a flattering manner, then as if just remembering something added, ”Jia Yan, in the ten plus days you’ve been away, have you improved your strength again? I feel like the vibe you give off is different now.”

Jia Yan knew this group of Semi-permanent Star Strong Ones were most curious about this question. After all, everyone was a Strong One. Though they are not even Intermediate Geniuses themselves, witnessing Jia Yan, this ’Intermediate Genius’, improve his strength under their observation would naturally make them curious and envious.

Knowing they can’t compare yet still insisting on comparing, that’s the folly of all intelligent creatures, isn’t it?

”I guess there’s been some improvement.” Jia Yan nodded, giving an ambiguous answer.

”Hiss... You’ve increased your strength again!” The Semi-permanent Star Genius inhaled sharply with envy, then shook his head with a bitter smile: ”I knew it, the rate of progress for an Intermediate Genius is simply beyond our imagination. Alright, Jia Yan. I won’t disturb your rest anymore, goodbye.”

After finishing the conversation, the other party seemed somewhat dispirited as he closed the communication.

”Master, if this guy knew that you didn’t just improve a little bit of strength, he’d probably be even more envious. Haha!”

Just as the other party ended the communication, the tiny light and shadow avatar of Adisa appeared beside Jia Yan.

”Hehe, we mustn’t get complacent, for complacency is one of the original sins of all failures.”

Jia Yan thus educated Adisa, yet a hint of pride appeared on his face.

Nobody knew that in such a short period, Jia Yan had achieved a significant enhancement in strength!

This time the enhancement was not only significant for Jia Yan, but it also held a different meaning compared to his previous advancements.

Previously, Jia Yan would enhance his strength either due to his innate talent, by devouring items, or through the inheritance received from a Stellar Senior.

But this time, Jia Yan improved on his own terms, without relying on talent or inheritance for the enhancement of his strength.

Instead, he depended on the ’Artificial Black Hole’!

Jia Yan lay low at the spot, delicately activating his Brainwave Power.

In the Subspace behind him, a spatial rift suddenly opened.

A tremendous suction force emerged within the Adisa, right there!

Inside the rift, it seemed as if an ominous black color was at work, as though an incredibly terrifying black monster aimed to devour everything around it.

This suction force was too horrifying, causing a small storm inside the Adisa, with tiny objects almost lifting off and being sucked into the rift.

Before the suction reached its peak, Jia Yan deactivated his Brainwave Power.

The rift closed instantly!

The floating objects then fell to the ground, creating a series of noises.

”Although my true body’s strength didn’t increase much in this half month, with this mini black hole combined with my Space Talent, the strength enhancement is too formidable! If there’s a need for an analogy, it’s about double!”

Jia Yan’s eyes twinkled faintly with an excited expression.

”Master is incredible! Less than half a month and you’ve doubled your strength; now many Semi-permanent Star Level Strong Ones are no match for you. Also, Master, how are you able to operate this Artificial Black Hole so simply, as if you’ve operated it before? Could it be that your Avatar has done so?”

Adisa couldn’t understand how Jia Yan, after creating this Artificial Black Hole, could operate it directly and even discarded the metal shell immediately; it didn’t seem like the actions of someone who hadn’t operated something similar before.

Jia Yan didn’t answer, he simply smiled faintly.

Indeed, his Avatar had operated similar black holes, but those of the Biochemical Empire couldn’t possibly be made from real black holes and couldn’t compare in power and gravitational force to the one he created.

With the experience of operating an Avatar, his True Body found the black hole extremely easy to operate; after getting familiar with it for some time, his manipulative force was even stronger than that of his Avatar.

Of course, there were some initial setbacks, and the scars on his body were partly from the Semi-permanent Star Strong Ones he killed and partly the ’achievement’ of this Artificial Black Hole.

”Perhaps Adisa doesn’t know to what extent my strength will surge once I operate this black hole...”

Jia Yan, looking at the little Mosquito hopping around, felt a bit of petty pride in his heart. Although Adisa sensed that Jia Yan’s strength would increase upon obtaining the Artificial Black Hole, she could never imagine the extent of that enhancement.

Because the power of this Artificial Black Hole, although powerful, was still far weaker than that of a real black hole, and even Jia Yan estimated it couldn’t kill a Dignitary by sucking them in.

So where does the strength increase come in?

”Hehe, with the Avatar’s experience, I’ve long grown accustomed to using this force.”

The force of the Artificial Black Hole isn’t that powerful; it’s not just about how strong the gravitational force is to be useful.

As long as during the battle, continuously releasing the Black Hole Force, and if the subspace rift alternates between opening and closing, the local environment will fluctuate between high and low gravity, such interference will surely diminish the strength of even Semi-permanent Star Strong Ones.

In a scenario where the enemy weakens and I grow stronger, wouldn’t that be an immense boost for Jia Yan?

”Alright, I’m truly looking forward to it, wondering who will be the first to face the power of this Man-made Black Hole Power...”

Jia Yan’s eyes sparkled.

”It’s a pity though, I can’t harness the real Black Hole Force; even a small one like those I’ve seen before is off-limits. But if I could use its power, even facing a Stellar creature, I’d be ready for an all-out battle!”
