Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 1302: Chapter 5: Creating an Artificial Black Hole! [Subscribe to the official version]

To know a black hole is not the kind of artificial black hole once witnessed by Jia Yan’s avatar; a real black hole, even the smallest among them, is absolutely beyond the current Jia Yan’s ability to affect.

”No, of course, I’m not aiming for it,” Jia Yan shook his head.

”Then what are you here for?”

The Adisa was curious about Jia Yan’s thoughts.

Jia Yan’s gaze rested on the astonishing gravitational black hole, where in the entire starfield, it was utterly dark, with no light able to escape.

The power was too terrifying; even at such a remote distance, Jia Yan still felt somewhat unable to resist this force.

If he could possess this kind of power, let alone being at the Semi-permanent Star Level, even at the Stellar level, he reckoned he could dominate unchallenged.

But Jia Yan had no means to acquire the power of a black hole at present.

”Adisa, I want to collect plasma here. Because black holes have a powerful disintegrating capability causing matter to decompose, unstable plasma will also be produced, which would be useful for me to collect,” Jia Yan said calmly.

”To collect this? But it’s a bit dangerous, the Adisa will also see if it can collect plasma that has escaped into the exterior,” said the Adisa with a troubled expression, knowing that black holes are celestial bodies from which nothing can emerge. Wanting to harvest the matter they decompose requires venturing into areas of terrifying gravity.

”Master, why do you want to collect it?”

The Adisa simply couldn’t understand Jia Yan’s ideas.

”My avatar back home once acquired a kind of artificial black hole, and I want to attempt an upgraded version, which requires an appreciable amount of plasma, and this black hole can provide just that,” Jia Yan said while resisting the black hole’s force.

In just a short moment, Jia Yan felt a barely tolerable tearing sensation over his entire body, and the particle radiation around him also became somewhat overwhelming.

After all, true life forms cannot possibly collide with nature.

Jia Yan returned to the Adisa, and then saw the Adisa begin to act.

A black hole is a celestial body from which nothing comes out, but there’s still Hawking radiation, so there are numerous radiative particles around it.

And among them, the deeper in, the more plasma there is.

”Adisa, if it’s really impossible to go in, then forget it, safety is the most important,” Jia Yan seriously told Adisa.

”Alright, I’ll try,” faced with the most terrifying astronomical unit in the universe, even Adisa’s expression became solemn as she issued a series of commands to the Adisa.

Jia Yan saw the Adisa slowly enter the gravitational range of the black hole and then noticed the space around him became noticeably taut.

At that moment, the entire Adisa directly entered a state similar to pre-space jump, completely warping the space before it.

”Master, as long as the Adisa can stabilize the space’s distortion, it can counteract the impact of the black hole to some extent. I’ll calculate the values, and will directly escape at the moment of danger,” the Adisa explained to Jia Yan what it was doing at the time.

Jia Yan took a deep breath and then went up to the bridge.

Since the Adisa had entered a special state very similar to his body entering subspace, the space it occupied was different from the surrounding space, and thus he felt everything around him moving too fast, countless particles colliding, being brutally pulled towards the black hole.

He even saw the phenomenon of matter being stretched in full, though here was still far from the area where the black hole’s true power was strongest, it was still extremely terrifying.

”Master, the capture operation has started.”

The Adisa began the capturing work, with matter torn by the black hole decomposing into various particle states, and then some of the plasma was absorbed by the Adisa.

This phenomenon was bizarre; it was as if in the vicinity of the all-consuming gravitational force of a black hole, a competing little black hole had emerged.

Jia Yan couldn’t help but marvel that the Adisa was indeed a Strong Flyer, capable of functioning in such an environment. He believed that even within the Genius Battlefield, there weren’t many battleships capable of similar feats.

”Master, how much do you need? In half an hour we’ve caught quite a bit, but because the power consumption is too high, the Adisa is a bit overloaded,” said the Adisa nervously to Jia Yan after the process continued for over half an hour.

Jia Yan looked at the capture values of the Adisa and then nodded, ”That’s enough, let’s get out of here.”

”Okay then!” This was the word Adisa was waiting for; actually, he is the Adisa, and the Adisa is him. Now, since the Adisa was overloading, of course he was worried.

The huge battleship, in the immense gravity, had reached an area extremely close to the black hole, and Jia Yan now saw a pitch-black color nearly completely blocking his entire field of vision.

To say he wasn’t nervous would be false; before this celestial body that was only heard of in legends, even Stellar level Strong Ones need to be respectful.

The Adisa slowly traveled, its entirety situated within Subspace, with the surrounding matter being pulled and distorted, while the Adisa itself remained unchanged.

Of course, even though it was in Subspace, the Adisa was still affected. What felt like only half an hour to them was definitely more than half an hour in the outside world.

Finally, with a mix of relief and without incident, the Adisa flew out of the extremely dangerous vicinity of the artificial black hole’s gravitational wave range.

”Phew...”

When leaving the warning zone, Jia Yan couldn’t help but let out a long sigh of relief.

”Master, I also collected some of the radioactive materials you mentioned. Just tell me how you want to proceed.”

The Adisa came forward to Jia Yan, and it was apparent that the ship was somewhat exhausted after this adventure.

”I’ll give you some data, just follow my instructions.”

Jia Yan tried to remember the data on artificial black holes obtained by his Avatar and then relayed it to the Adisa.

In fact, whether an artificial black hole could be created or not, Jia Yan himself was unsure. After all, the artificial black holes of the Biochemical Empire, although not extremely rare technological artifacts, meant that the Adisa was not a technical vessel. Jia Yan’s attempt here was nothing more than a spur-of-the-moment endeavor, inspired by a fleeting thought and a touch of impulsiveness.

”Master, the Adisa can do this. It’s indeed related to gravitational and spatial domain technologies, quite a marvelous concept, yet not technically insurmountable.”

After listening to Jia Yan’s data and descriptions, the Adisa showed a look of surprise. It understood the basic principles of the artificial black hole and Jia Yan’s construction approach, which all fell within the capabilities of the Adisa. Although not powerful, it was still a unique and novel idea.

”Alright, then please proceed with the attempt. It’s okay if it doesn’t work out.”

Hearing that the Adisa could make an attempt, Jia Yan’s Compound Eyes suddenly brightened up. Looking back, it made sense; the ancient Light Shadow Monster Senior knew a lot, and although the Adisa seemed unreliable, it possessed knowledge as vast as that of the Light Shadow Monster Senior. It wasn’t impossible to approximate and cobble together an artificial black hole.

The massive Adisa slowly flew, arriving above a barren celestial body.

This was an interstellar material unclaimed by any force, not a Resource Star, thus it had not been mined by the forces of the Genius Battlefield.

But it had an exceedingly vast volume, more aptly a planet than interstellar material.

With a diameter of over a thousand kilometers, it was almost perfectly spherical due to its own gravity.

Yet with the Adisa’s gigantic twenty-kilometer frame docked on it, it did not appear overwhelmingly large, adding merely a sense of an Iron Giant to the celestial body.

”Master, I’ve completed the preliminary work according to your instructions. But is this really going to work?”

As the Adisa docked on this celestial body, the voice of the Adisa reached Jia Yan’s ears.

However, it seemed that the Adisa was somewhat unsure about Jia Yan’s method of creating an artificial black hole.

According to Jia Yan, accumulating plasma material and various radioactive bodies, then using compression of space and a series of technological transformations, along with the addition of some large material objects, could this produce an artificial black hole?

Even though the Adisa, drawing on its own knowledge, felt that the theory was viable, it still had some doubts.

”Whether it will work or not, let’s try and see.”

Upon hearing that the other side was ready, Jia Yan stood up from where he had been waiting.

”The large mass material beneath our feet will do; the effectiveness can be seen after one operation.”

Not long after, the vast body of the Adisa trembled slightly, and then a light arc emerged around its exterior.

The entire celestial body where the Adisa was docked began to exhibit a faint tremor.

And at the base of the Adisa, a small material intake port continuously absorbed the material from the celestial body below.

Though the speed of absorption was just a trivial bit compared to the entire celestial body, the vast part of the star showing a huge gap after a prolonged period was unmistakable.

What was even more terrifying was that the amount of material being Devoured grew ever larger, surpassing the volume of the Adisa itself, yet no material seemed to overflow; it was as if the Adisa were a colossal glutton, slowly consuming the celestial body.

The Adisa’s consumption continued, and the portion of the star being eroded grew increasingly larger.

Not until a massive chunk had been taken out of the thousand-kilometer diameter celestial body, akin to a moon missing a piece, did the Devouring slowly cease.

”Master, is this the artificial black hole you spoke of? It actually worked!”

Inside the Adisa, Adisa floated in mid-air with a look of bewilderment, observing a metallic giant sphere in the central area of the Adisa.

Next to it was Jia Yan, who was there as well, his expression equally surprised.

It was just a casual attempt; he hadn’t anticipated that the Adisa had such a miraculous technology to realize the concepts from his mind!

This Chapter is mostly nonsense, don’t take it too seriously. Ha ha.
