The registration staff who received Jia Yan’s reply did not have too many doubts and truthfully registered this name for the competition.

There are always oddities every year, and such oddities usually forfeit immediately when they truly face a Semi-permanent Star Level opponent.

It’s just that whichever Semi-permanent Star Level Strong One meets him, that’s some luck, as they would have won the first match by default.

The assistant at the registration point, also a Secondary Powerhouse, wondered why the higher-ups of his force had established a rule allowing any rank to cross-register.

Of course, what he didn’t understand was that this rule was exactly why the Mighty Power could attract so much popularity. Besides several famous names, other forces had to pursue eye-catching gimmicks or funny antics in the Genius Battlefield.

Thus, within the Mighty Power, it wasn’t uncommon to see some Dignitaries registering to fight Semi-permanent Star level opponents, and he had even seen a Peak Starry Sky Level contender registering to battle a Semi-permanent Star Level Strong One. Naturally, that Starry Sky Level fool who dared to step onto the stage was obliterated by the opponent in a single move.

All of this was just part of the attention-grabbing and news-making routine of the Mighty Power’s Genius Battlefield.

After registering his name, Jia Yan then left the registration point.

The name he submitted was not Jia Yan, but one he often used as a scapegoat: Mo Ke.

Having returned to the port where the Tornado Force was docked, the Semi-permanent Star Level Strong Ones who had helped the force’s geniuses to register also came back.

After all, the entire force had a special registration channel, and it was normal for it to be quicker.

”Jia Yan, why did you go out? However, among the several stars of the Mighty Power, there are a few worth exploring. Our Tornado Force can’t go, but you can take the opportunity to have some fun before the battle starts.”

Tai Jin, upon seeing Jia Yan return, immediately became curious but spoke in a roundabout manner.

”I just went out to see the venue. There isn’t much to see in the Mighty Power.” Having said that, Jia Yan went back into the Adisa.

Since the Tornado Force had arrived quite late, the time for the Mighty Power Genius contest arrived quickly.

”Jia Yan, the battle at the Respect Level should be quite easy for you to claim first place, but still, conserve your energy. We’ve also signed you up for the Secondary Powerhouse battle, hoping you can achieve a top-three finish at that level as well,” they told him.

On the day of the competition, the event was packed with creatures participating in or watching the battles.

The entire competition venue resembled the Tornado Force’s combat platform, only larger in scale, indicating that the Tornado Force may have borrowed some concepts from the Mighty Power.

Heeding Tai Jin’s instructions, Jia Yan gave his assent, then took the stage with over three thousand participants in the Respect Level competition to greet the audience.

Of course, apart from those who recognized him, nobody paid him any attention.

Even among the group of Dignitaries, he was just one of many, and even for those in the audience who recognized him, it wasn’t easy to spot Jia Yan among the over three thousand contestants.

Still, there were some spectators who had seen the Tornado Force’s Genius competition or watched the internet news.

”Hey, isn’t that Jia Yan, who had an amazing performance in the Tornado Force’s Genius contest?”

”It really seems to be him. He’s actually participating in the Respect Level battle. Quick, buy me chips for Jia Yan to win. Bet all my money on it. A contender who can annihilate even Secondary Powerhouses will easily claim first place.”

One by one, the spectators hurriedly bet on Jia Yan’s victory, but they also knew to keep it secret, knowing that if everyone bet on Jia Yan, their odds would decrease.

”Huh? Why has the number of bets on this contestant suddenly increased? Never mind, he’s just a famous rookie, I guess,” remarked the officials at the Mighty Power’s betting station, noticing an increase in people betting on Jia Yan to win but not very surprised since the numbers weren’t too exaggerated when compared to the top favorite among the Dignitaries.

And as the battle began, the name of the contestant ’Jia Yan’ quickly became memorable to everyone in the venue.

The first match, an instant kill!

The second match, still an instant kill!

The third match, another instant kill!

”How, how can there be a genius from such a force with such incredible strength? It seems he’s bound to secure a spot in the top ten,” the spectators remarked, astonished.

Some who became aware of this Jia Yan, a powerful genius, showed expressions of enthusiasm for the drama, knowing the history between the Tornado Force and the Mighty Power.

Their comments reached the ears of some spectators who had seen Jia Yan before, which led to a chorus of laughter.

”It seems Jia Yan has been temporarily brought in as a foreign aid by the Tornado Force. Haha, these surrounding spectators are oblivious to Jia Yan’s real power, discussing his potential to break into the top ten? Rubbish top ten! He’s someone who has claimed first place at the Second Level Strongman Level of Tornado Force!”

”I believe Jia Yan has probably also participated in the Mighty Power’s Secondary Powerhouse competition. Such an Intermediate Genius is sure to fight his way through. However, the Mighty Power’s Genius Battlefield is much stronger than the Tornado Force’s, so making it to the top five will be tough for him!”

”I say he won’t just fail to make the top five, even the top ten is unlikely,” someone else chimed in.

The spectators aware of Jia Yan’s history were certain about his victory at the Respect Level, showing no suspense or doubt, and instead discussed whether Jia Yan would achieve a good ranking in the Secondary Powerhouse Level.

And as expected, without any surprises to them, Jia Yan did indeed enter the battle for the championship of the Respect Level.

”Jia Yan! You’re actually from Tornado Force? Our Mighty Power Force has had serious grievances with you guys. Since that’s the case, don’t blame me for not holding back.””

Jia Yan’s opponent turned out to be a venerable figure from Mighty Power Force, who seemed extremely confident in his own strength. This dignitary was just a hair’s breadth away from being an intermediate genius. Although his talent wasn’t quite intermediate level, preventing him from prevailing over higher ranks, he felt quite capable of dominating the respectable level battles within the Mighty Power genius battlefield.

”From Mighty Power Force, huh? Heh, if you think you can win against me, then I can only let you down,” Jia Yan shook his head.

His disdainful attitude made the Mighty Power Force’s genius dignitary rush into attack in a brainy fury.

”Indeed worthy of the number one venerable figure in Mighty Power Force; very impressive!”

Jia Yan dodged the first strike, all the while praising him in a manner akin to watching a junior perform.

”Cut the crap, stop showing off your eloquence, and just defeat me if you can!”

The dignitary shouted in anger, embarrassed and enraged.

”As you wish.”

Jia Yan’s indifferent voice sounded, and then...

Whump!

After a faint sound of impact.

The expression of the Mighty Power Force venerable dignitary stiffened, then he revealed an incredulous look, slowly toppling towards the ground.

Jia Yan did not kill him, he simply controlled his power to temporarily paralyze him.

”Oh! The winner of the first place in the venerable level battle has appeared. The victor is Jia Yan!”

The commentator shouted excitedly, causing the whole spectator’s area to erupt into cheers.

However, compared to their excitement and astonishment, a portion of the audience showed no sign of surprise, and Tornado Force was similarly unmoved.

Some of the audience began to wonder, why didn’t Tornado Force seem happy about this outsider Jia Yan assisting them to secure the first venerable place? It seemed as though Tornado Force didn’t treat their external aids all that well.

What they didn’t know was that Tornado Force took it for granted.

They also filed Jia Yan for the Secondary Powerhouse level genius battle; they believed that if Jia Yan managed to secure a top three spot among Secondary Powerhouses, it would be a grand surprise. Then it would be worth cheering about later, but now, Jia Yan winning at the respectable level battle was simply expected.

”This young man is interesting.”

What no one knew was that up high in the starry sky of the battlefield, a colossal presence, who had been concealed this whole time, showed a hint of interest in Jia Yan, who had won the battle.

Unlike Tornado Force, the awards for the champion of the respectable levels were presented on the spot.

Jia Yan stepped onto the podium, where a Semi-permanent Star Level powerhouse approached him, uttered a few innocuous words and then handed over his prize.

”Another Star Core, not bad.” Jia Yan felt the reward and then smiled.

Not only could he take this reward, but Tornado Force would also provide him with awards in the future. This made Jia Yan even more interested in the Genius Battlefield, knowing well that the speed of gaining rewards was not slow.

Besides, being at respectable level, Jia Yan was confident that he could dominate even in the Central Area of the Genius Battlefield, as top-level Genius Venerables were not that many. Most top talents quickly transitioned from Venerables to Secondary Powerhouses or Semi-permanent Star Level.

As for high-level geniuses, as long as they are in the same rank, Jia Yan feared no one.

”Alright, next up is the Secondary Powerhouse level competition, with over fifteen hundred contestants participating.”

As the commentator announced the start of the Secondary Powerhouse battle, Jia Yan, who had just descended from receiving his respectable level award, hadn’t even steadied his footing when he turned around, joining the Tornado Force’s Secondary Powerhouses to ascend the stage once again.

”Eh! Jia Yan is going up again, with the respectable level reward still in his arms, could it be that he intends to fight in the Secondary Powerhouse tier as well?”

”That’s too conceited. Being able to dominate the respectable level and still wanting to join the Secondary Powerhouse battle? He’s really overestimating himself. A Secondary Powerhouse is not something a Venerable can compete with; it seems Jia Yan is about to embarrass himself.”

Spectators and high-ranking members of various factions, upon seeing Jia Yan enter the Secondary Powerhouse level battle, immediately showed contemptuous jeers.

While Mighty Power Force does indulge in battles across ranks for entertainment, truly overcoming an opponent through rank-crossing was something only intermediate geniuses had achieved in this arena.

Does Jia Yan look like an intermediate genius?

Not at all!

”Tornado Force, what exactly are you trying to do? Coming to make a joke at Mighty Power Force’s expense? Letting a Venerable join our Secondary Powerhouse battle suggests you’re underestimating Mighty Power Force.”

While the spectators on the podium were surprised at Jia Yan’s participation, at this moment, the old rivals Mighty Power Force and Tornado Force started secretly ridiculing each other again.
