Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 1166: Chapter 47 Welcome Emissary ?? [First Update]

Today is an extremely important day for the Xiyu Capital Star in the West of Ruolan Empire.

This day marks the first time that the Xiyu Capital Star receives a visit from an economic envoy of another great empire, namely the Auster Empire, which has been engaged in overt and covert struggles with the Ru Lan Empire and even fought wars for more than a few hundred years.

The entire Western Region Capital Star has been heavily publicized in the media for this day, which has also fostered an atmosphere welcoming the arrival of the envoy team from the Auster Empire.

The Ru Lan Empire harbors a peculiar sentiment towards the Auster people, with both empires having comparable military strength, shared borders, and some ethnic groups even belonging to the same species, resulting in profound mutual influence on each other’s science and culture.

The Auster Empire values commerce and has a unique cultural aura. Their films and television productions are extremely popular in the Ru Lan Empire. The Ru Lan Empire, on the other hand, values tradition, especially the demeanor of the royal family, which is also regarded favorably by many Auster people. The two continue to compete and advance side by side.

The envoy team from the Auster Empire has rarely visited the Western Region, although it is one of the Ru Lan Empire’s major territories. Due to the distance from the Auster Empire and the consideration of travel costs and potential gains, the Auster Empire seldom sent envoys here.

This unusual dispatch of an envoy team is for the purpose of conducting foreign trade negotiations with the Western Region of Ruolan Empire. After all, the Auster Empire acts only when there is profit to be had, and by this moment, they have already made a pile of calculations.

Naturally, the Ru Lan Empire side also understands the Auster Empire’s intentions. In their interactions with the other side, the Western Region has its own calculations, after all, having loved and fought each other for hundreds of years, with contact tracing back thousands of years between the two great empires.

On a vast battleship docking platform of the Capital Star, a group of high-ranking officials who can usually only be seen in the media are waiting quietly on the ground.

”Lord Fifth Duke, is it worth it to dispatch such a grand welcoming party for the Auster Empire’s envoy this time? I hear that the envoy team does not have many members.”

Most of the high-ranking officials are shaped like frogs, and the leading few are even covered in gold, resembling golden frogs.

Especially the leading golden frog, who is an impressive thirty meters long and more than ten meters tall, adorned with a crown and seemingly of extremely high status.

Of course, this being is the most powerful in the entire Western Region, and is also one of the Ruolan Empire Royal Family’s five great dukes, appointed the highest authority in the Western Region, which speaks volumes about his capabilities.

Moreover, this being possesses formidable strength, holding the power of Early Stars, which for ordinary strong ones is something they can only look up to.

The moment one of his subordinates asked a question, Lord Fifth Duke’s frog mouth moved slightly as he spoke.

”It is not exaggerated. You do not understand that among the strong ones coming this time, there is one who is extremely powerful. He is currently the second-ranked among the top ten strong ones of the Auster Empire. It’s not exaggerated for us to personally come out to greet them.”

”I see, I was too presumptuous,” the being said, stunned for a moment, and then retreated.

In the Ruolan Empire, the royal authority is immensely grand, as the royal family has three Starry Sky High-Order Experts. It is said that with the royal family’s ancient inherited equipment, even in the face of thirty of the same level Starry Sky High-Order Experts, they are not necessarily at a disadvantage, showcasing the depth of the royal family’s heritage.

”Intelligence Officer, didn’t you say that they might arrive this morning? Why haven’t we seen them yet? Are your intelligence reports really that unreliable?”

After the subordinate stepped back, Lord Fifth Duke immediately questioned another golden frog next to him. However, this golden frog’s color was mixed with other colors and much fainter compared to the other five duke’s subordinates, not to mention compared to Lord Fifth Duke, which looked like a glowing frog.

After being reprimanded, the colorful frog monster quickly responded, ”Lord, the other party probably wanted to look around our Capital Star vicinity, our guiding battleship has gone to lead them, they should arrive shortly.”

”Alright, let it be. These are the efficiency styles of the Auster people; soon they will realize what benefits the West can bring them, after their arrival, they will directly negotiate business with us. They really do not understand the principle of enjoying the finer things in life, the Auster people really do not know how to have fun.”

Lord Fifth Duke uttered a faint self-explanation.

”You’re wrong there, the Auster people do know how to have fun, they just don’t like having fun with us the people from Ru Lan Empire,” Lord Fifth Duke shook his head in front of the frog monsters.

”It is said that the second strongest of Auster who is coming over, likes to traverse the universe with his physical body, cultivating while enjoying the surrounding scenery, and will also look for any possible gains. He likes money and likes to flaunt his own power. Later, we will give him a bit of face for strong ones, because such a strong one, our Western Region might not be able to defeat him. Giving enough respect, our negotiations can also go more smoothly.” Lord Fifth Duke said.

”Yes, yes.”

Just as a few large frogs were about to agree, a watchful soldier nearby suddenly reported a message with a changed expression!

”An unknown object is rapidly approaching our area; it seems to be a strong one. Do we need to activate the ground defense system?”

The golden frogs had just spoken about this strong one, and now he is actually crossing the universe to come here in such a manner.

”No need, I have seen the data. Those who can achieve such speed, not many in our Ru Lan Empire could match. It must be that second-ranked strong one from the Auster. He comes down in this way, truly in line with the rumors, wanting to show off his power, hehe.”

Lord Fifth Duke smiled somewhat smugly, as if his prediction about the strong one had been confirmed, giving him some assurance about this strong one’s actions.

”Yes, this strong one is an important guest for our Western Region, we not only cannot retaliate but should welcome them all the more.”

The other golden frog subordinates nodded in agreement.

”The image is up. Although the other party is fast, we have caught their look, it’s an Auster person’s figure, indeed, it’s him.”

”It seems a bit different, doesn’t it? But the appearance of the Auster people all looks pretty much the same to us, it must be him without a doubt.”

A group of Golden Frogs acknowledged the arrival of their distinguished guest and hastily gave their orders.

Many soldiers surrounded these important figures, and not far away, they had arranged for thousands of civilians to prepare to welcome the arrival of the Envoy Team.

Just as the Strong One descended from the horizon with a trail of light, all the people below started their welcoming cheers!

”Welcome, welcome!”

”Welcome to the arrival of the Emissary!”

A line of soldiers also began to play their unique musical instruments.

This was the welcome melody for the highest ranking guests within the Ru Lan Empire.

Even a few high-ranking officials adopted a respectful demeanor. After all, Strong Ones are respected throughout the Starry Sky, and even that Fifth Duke was somewhat behaving like a junior at this moment.

They had done a good job at creating a welcoming atmosphere, which somewhat surprised the newcomer.

Of course, the question remained whether the Strong One arriving from the sky was indeed the so-called ’Second Strongest of the Auster Empire’.

The powerful individual in question, with black hair streaming in the wind due to the high-speed descent, fluttering messily in all directions.

He was not the person everyone thought, the Auster’s second Strongest, but instead, it was...

Jia Yan!

”Eh...” Upon seeing the countless welcoming creatures below, Jia Yan had a look of astonishment.

Welcoming an Emissary??

He was truly surprised by the grand reception below. He hadn’t believed that the message he’d sent at the border of the Ru Lan Empire would be of any use, nor did he expect the Ru Lan Empire actually believed he could arrive at the Xiyu Capital Star within mere ten days?

Yet here they were, truly welcoming his arrival – could they have really predicted he would be coming at this moment?

”Welcome, welcome, the Emissary’s visit brings boundless honor to the Capital Star.”

As Jia Yan felt surprised, he reached the skies above the port area, where a voice reached his mind from below.

”Hmph, they are so welcoming; it seems they have gained a little understanding of me. Could it be that they have quickly dissected the outcome of that war?” At this moment, Jia Yan had some clarity.

His demeanor turned cold; regardless of how the others treated him, he was destined to appear as a top-tier Strong One.

Arrogant, suppressing all!

Jia Yan descended towards a few of the Frogmen who exuded a strong presence.

”Golden Frog, you must be the Fifth Duke, the foremost authority of this Western Region?”

Jia Yan floated in front of a massive Frogman of the Golden Frog species.

This Golden Frog exuded an almost earth-shattering majesty among the people of Ru Lan Empire, but to Jia Yan, a golden-colored Frog was as repulsive as it could possibly be. His expression was filled with disdain as he looked at the other.

”Insolence! How dare you speak to the Fifth Duke like that?” On the other side, a creature who seemed to be a Starry Sky High-Order Expert suddenly jumped out to speak.

This Monster was also a huge Frog, but dark black in color, and even larger than the Fifth Duke, with fluctuations indicating a Starry Sky High-Order level.

Jia Yan glanced at this Monster, which seemed to be the ’Sky Remnant’ mentioned by the captain.

”Humph, it’s not your place to comment on what this Emissary says!”

Jia Yan’s face turned icy.

Afterwards, that Starry Sky High-Order Expert actually felt a terrifying surge of energy, a direct hit to his own body!

”Not good!” This Strong One didn’t take Jia Yan seriously at first, thinking he hadn’t moved a muscle. But when the force hit him, his expression changed drastically.

”Thank you ’Tragic Aquarius’ and ’Flying Bird’s Shadow Crossing’ for the reward of 1000 Starty Coins, much appreciated.”
