Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 1162: Chapter 43: Call Your Superior Out!

The Solar System is located within the Orion Arm, specifically on a spiral arm known as the Orion Arm.

And in this starry sky, the Sun is just a tiny place among the stars of the spiral arm, merely one of the myriad stellar systems.

Nothing special, it seems to be just a very ordinary galaxy.

Not only is it unattractive to the great empires, but even to some smaller interstellar civilizations with limited territories, its attraction is not significant.

The reason lies in the civilization of this starfield not being capable of interstellar voyages. If the speed of the spacecraft and battleships could be faster, even reaching the level of the Northern Star Domain and other such bustling areas, then perhaps the scenario would be different.

As for why the two great empires would have the idea of contending over the Solar System, it is simply because they discovered there the material they wanted, the Azure Material that they call the Star-condensed substance.

Of course, these two great empires do not pay much attention to the war over the distant Solar System. For such enormous empires, their power is no longer much of a concern for the common crisis. After all, the civilizations that these two empires have destroyed or merged are not less than one hundred or several dozens. As for Earth, which is very far away, it is not an existence they want to annex at the moment. It was only reported that the ”Star Coagulation” Mineral was found on that distant planet, and thereafter, there was not much follow-up.

If the Star-condensed substance on Earth truly is the urgently needed material for them, then the attitude of these two empires would definitely not be so casual. It seems that as important as the Star-condensed substance is to them, their desire is not extremely urgent.

Jia Yan, regarding the current reporting by Earth’s media about these two empires, is not known to these empires themselves.

Closer to Earth is the Ru Lan Empire. For the Solar System, the territory of the Ru Lan Empire isn’t far. If it’s about the frontiers, it’s almost just a dozen light-years up and down, but these dozen light-years are quite out of reach for the Ru Lan Empire. After all, for the existence of this starry sky, extending one’s arm too far might actually constrain their own strength. Only the technology of places like the Northern Star Domain can allow an empire to control large territories.

Moreover, in this region of competition among several powers, there are ongoing battles. Many empires, including the Alien Species known as the Biochemical Empire, are vying with the Ru Lan Empire and the Auster Empire. For them, at this moment, that little bit of Star-condensed substance on Earth is not enough to make them take the risk of mobilizing a large army to gather it.

However, these two empires obviously did not expect that because of this Flank Division’s action, a terrible existence has now taken offense at these two empires and is currently piloting his superfast aircraft, carrying the war reparations document from the indigenous civilization ’Earth,’ quickly approaching the two empires!

Fifteen light-years from Earth, this place belongs to the most marginal territory of the Ru Lan Empire. It is internally referred to as ’Western Region’ by the Ru Lan Empire.

This Western Region is like a cluster of stars and is largely equivalent to the Northern Star Domain, where Jia Yan previously stayed. Yet, this is only one-fifth of the Ru Lan Empire’s territory.

If it were not for the limited speed of spacecraft, the military force of the Ru Lan Empire might even have the capacity to truly extend their gateways to Earth.

But in reality, this empire has been over-militarized for too long. For thousands of years since they became a Star Empire, they have been constantly expanding their borders, resulting in the empire being limited by communication and personnel transport difficulties. In actuality, several major territories have already developed a state of semi-independence.

That day, a Rapid Flying Object traveling through Distorted Space came to the furthest Boundary Star of the Ru Lan Empire’s territory.

The so-called Star Soil is the name used by the Ru Lan Empire for the border planets.

Unlike the technology of the Northern Star Domain, this Ru Lan Empire is clearly incapable of developing all the planets in its territory, nor does it have sufficient population for complete Transformation and colonization. Therefore, inside this empire, most of the planets are empty, and some planets have a small number of military and civilians living on them. This Star Soil planet is one such case.

The flying object that came to the edge of the Star Soil planet emerged suddenly out of the void, instantly appearing in space.

However, the detectors on the Star Soil planet did not detect this flying object.

The reason is none other than the fact that the technology of this flying object far exceeds the detectors on the Star Soil planet, and its size is too small. At several hundred kilometers distance, it’s possible that the detection was missed, or even if it was detected, it would be mistaken for a small piece of interstellar material.

This small spaceship has an overall streamlined shape, and most of its structure has a special effect of Distorted Space. For the current existence in the Orion Arm, it is nearly impossible to decrypt, since it is a piece of ultra-high technology from another Prosperous Star Domain.

After the flying object arrived in this starry sky, a diminutive creature surged out from it.

This creature has a head and limbs, and a head of thick, secret black short hair.

Although his appearance is not particularly heroic, his demeanor has a subtle yet terrifying sensation. This unique presence, if seen by a Starry Sky Level Expert, would reveal that this is the aura of a top-tier Strong One!

Yes, he is Jia Yan!

”Hmm, is this place called Star Soil 75? The Ru Lan Empire occupies such a vast Starfield, yet they don’t make good use of it and still attempt to seize the Mother Star of Earth people. It is somewhat excessive. However, their abundant resources and broad territory are advantageous to my mission because I can, depending on the situation, ask for... no, demand more war reparations.”

After Jia Yan flew out of the spaceship, he looked towards the massive planet ahead and spoke somewhat indifferently to himself.

Traveling through the starry sky no longer posed any challenge for him, and all he desired from the spaceship was to carry him across to this distant starry space. Once he reached his destination, he found a safe place to set down the spaceship. Of course, calling it a spaceship isn’t quite accurate—the proper term should be Space Cabin.

After activating the concealment feature of the Space Cabin, he flew directly towards the Star Soil planet with his physical body.

Jia Yan’s avatar was not much slower than his true self, especially in the universe’s starry sky, where due to the difference in mass, he could accelerate his body to a fairly swift speed using even a smaller amount of Brainwave Power.

A few hundred kilometers was merely a short moment away for him.

Upon the Star Soil 75 planet, there existed a small fleet.

This fleet, under the Ru Lan Empire tasked with guarding the border, had been stationed here for a full ten years.

Originally, they were engaged in combat on another border planet not far from here. However, a defeat ten years ago forced this star fleet to retreat to this location, and they felt somewhat abandoned.

If one mentioned their origins, perhaps Jia Yan would still remember them. They were the very fleet that, a decade ago near the Grey-Yellow Star in the nearby star regions, operated to safeguard the interests of the Ru Lan Empire!

This fleet had even encountered Jia Yan, but by now, he may very well have forgotten them.

”Lord Captain, our supplies have diminished again. Those guys at the military department held back one-third upon seeing it was our fleet. Captain, shall we report this to the higher-ups?”

At this moment, such discontented murmurs were spreading throughout the fleet.

The entire fleet had lost the proud demeanor they held at the Grey-Yellow Star fighting against other civilizations and species ten years ago. Now, they resembled abandoned dogs, pathetically coiled up in a corner of the world, occasionally kicked by passersby.

Nevertheless, the fleet still had some leaders.

The Captain of the fleet was one such creature. He was a gigantic Centipede-like lifeform, nearly twenty meters in length, and during that year’s confrontation with the Evolutionary Creature strong ones on the Grey-Yellow Star, he contributed the most to the battle strategy.

But he lost that battle, and even the hidden power of the fleet was exposed to the Auster Empire. Since then, the Auster Empire Fleet, to maintain their interests and power in that star region, unleashed their forces, rallied several star forces’ battleships, and drove them out.

The fleet that ended up relegated to the Ru Lan Empire border was then assigned to guard the border, becoming a peripheral military force without any battles to fight.

”Be at ease, our fleet’s core combat power has not been lost. Just wait for the opportunity, and we will rise again,” consoled the Centipede Captain to his subordinates.

”Uh, Lord, an unknown life reaction has been detected in the high atmosphere of the planet, and... and its speed is extremely fast, it seems to be a Strong One crossing the starry sky!”

Suddenly, a soldier creature let out an alarmed warning to the Captain.

”Hmm? A Strong One? It is fitting, as we’ve suffered at the hands of Strong Ones and were thus assigned here. Don’t worry about the origins of this Strong One, to kill him would be our credit!”

The Captain, simmering with frustration, roared loudly upon hearing the news of an approaching Strong One.

To him, it was unthinkable that any true Strong Ones seeking to trouble the Ru Lan Empire would just appear out of nowhere. Perhaps this strong presence traversing the starry sky was one of the native rebels from the surrounding star space. After all, there were some indigenous species resisting Ru Lan Empire’s rule in this star region.

At most, he belonged to the Sky Level—perhaps just an early or middle period Sky Level using starry sky equipment to fly. Their single salvo could shoot him down.

”Ah! Lord, he’s really fast, he’s here!”

Just as the Captain had given his orders, the reporting soldier let out a shocked shout.

Then, before the Captain could issue his next command, a tiny figure suddenly smashed through the steel walls above their command center, crashing directly into it.

Crack!

This minute creature just squashed the Centipede-like monster completely!

”I am an Emissary from the Solar System, summon your superior officer!” he declared.
