Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 1160: Chapter 41 Don’t Call Me Daddy [1st Update]

Even now that Fuda had come to understand that Jia Yan was the assassin from years past and that his power had greatly improved, he still could not believe that there was any existence capable of causing trouble for an Empire-level nation. Weren’t such acts only supposed to be within the realm of a ’Star Sky Beast’?

Although he didn’t know what level the Star Sky Beast was at, he understood that it existed above the Star Space Level. And now the thin and small Jia Yan in front of him, could he really do something similar?!

”Hehe, that’s right, those two empires are quite annoying. Although I haven’t reached the level of a Star Sky Beast, I figure it won’t be much of a difference when I want to cause them trouble. Just get the refinement materials I need ready,” Jia Yan confidently instructed his subordinate, after giving him a look.

Fuda was dumbfounded and somewhat in disbelief. This human-like existence was telling him that he was Big Mosquito Lord, and Fuda could hardly believe it. And then, this existence claimed he would go alone to the two great empires to cause trouble. If Fuda’s mind hadn’t been quick, he might not have been able to understand the situation at all.

Fortunately, he was not an ordinary extra-terrestrial being. After a brief moment of confusion, he nodded his head directly.

Due to the last decade of rivalry with the two great empires, although only battles with their Flank Divisions were fought, the Earth Fleet had still amassed a considerable amount of information about the empires themselves.

After organizing the information and handing it to Jia Yan, Fuda saw the man in front of him disappear with a slight flicker from before his eyes.

Naturally, Jia Yan’s power was easily enough to awe this Heaven-level existence, almost as if he were beholding a Divine Spirit.

Yet, his identity was still unknown to many, including both Earth people and aliens who believed he was unrelated to the previous Big Mosquito. However, Jia Yan’s revelation of his identity to Fuda was likely to improve their attitudes. After all, there were very few aliens on Earth, and they didn’t compete significantly with humans. Improving the mindset of some high-level individuals could stabilize the situation.

Meanwhile, Jia Yan returned to the Jia’s family home, where he could now fully focus on his Avatar. There were some things he could take advantage of now to complete because Jia Yan felt that his True Body might soon be embroiled in gunpowder and battle smoke. The aftermath of that Secondary Powerhouse was too dangerous, and as an Outsider, Jia Yan could not afford to be complacent for long.

Hence, he intended to eliminate the crisis looming over Earth and the Solar System before it could erupt. The simplest and most effective way to remove these dangers was to go to the two big enemies’ lairs for a display of punitive ’discipline’!

”Uncle Jiu, I’m here!” Just as Jia Yan returned to the Jia’s family home, soon after settling in a house designated for his stay, he heard the playful voice of Jia Qi.

Although this little girl was already in higher grades of elementary school, her personality was still childlike, always bustling around excitedly.

”Uncle Jiu, I’ve brought my brother over to play. Do you think he’s good?” Jia Qi, holding a little boy’s hand, smiled nervously and in a pleasing manner at Jia Yan.

The little girl’s thinking was simple; she thought Jia Yan and his aunt had some differences. She wanted to mediate the relationship between them, and since her aunt had asked her to take her brother to play, she brought her clever little brother over to Uncle Jiu.

Jia Yan was about to open the Star Chart to check it, but now he put it down with slight helplessness.

He looked at the three to four-year-old boy that Jia Qi was holding. The child was so similar to himself, or you could almost say, a carbon copy of his younger self ’created’ to life.

”Qiqi, don’t lead him. His strength is even stronger than yours by a margin. He doesn’t need you to lead him,” Jia Yan said shaking his head.

”But I want to look after my little brother well,” Jia Qi insisted.

The little boy looked at Jia Yan and then back at Jia Qi, nodding and saying: ”Sister Qiqi, I am stronger than you, you shouldn’t lead me.”

After saying this, he freed himself from Jia Qi’s fingers.

The little boy’s eyes were clear, seemingly filled with endless wisdom. He walked up to Jia Yan, sizing him up with big eyes as if looking at an exotic animal.

”Are you my dad? You don’t look like the dads on TV, and you’re different from Sister Qiqi’s dad too,” he said calmly.

”I am not your dad,” Jia Yan replied looking at him.

”But my mom says you are my dad,” the little boy retorted, frowning.

He was smart but still didn’t understand many profound things, after all, he was too young.

Jia Yan’s head throbbed. This was the child he had been avoiding recently because he didn’t know what face to meet him with. To say the boy was his child felt odd, yet to deny it might lead to a DNA test, which could show a real connection; he didn’t know how to explain himself.

”What your mum said is wrong, in any case, I can’t be counted as your dad. Do you understand?” Jia Yan sighed helplessly.

”I understand. If mom had me with another man, then you’re not my dad anymore?” The little boy approached Jia Yan, his expression naive.

But soon he shook his head on his own: ”But I think you are my dad. You have a scent like mom’s, which I really like. I enjoy being with you,” he said with a milk-like voice.

Looking at the child’s innocent expression, Jia Yan couldn’t help but give a wry smile, not knowing how to refute him.

”Alright, if you think I’m your dad, then that’s fine. Did you come to play a game with Sister Qiqi today?” For the first time, Jia Yan spoke to him without resistance.

”Yep, Sister Qiqi couldn’t beat me yesterday. She told me you’re very strong, Dad, stronger than Mom, but I don’t believe it. I want to see if I can beat you,” the little boy said seriously.

Jia Yan was taken aback and then noticed a glint of combativeness in the child’s eyes.

”Fine, I’ll suppress my power to the same Early Sky Level as yours. If you can hit any part of my body other than my palms, you win,” Jia Yan said.

”Okay, Sister Qiqi said she’d give me her chocolate if I win. Dad, no crying if you lose.” The little boy’s body surged with immense energy fluctuations, as if a piece of chocolate granted him endless strength.

”I told you not to call me Dad, ah... never mind!” Jia Yan shook his head helplessly, no longer trying to correct the child’s way of addressing him.

In fact, he was somewhat curious. Samo Ling had said that this child would become very strong. Now that Jia Yan had met him, he understood the child’s talent was astounding; born less than four years ago, he already possessed Heavenly Level power. It was said that his step into the Heavenly Level occurred three months ago, which even prompted the higher-ups from the Earth Fleet to come and congratulate him.

Though this talent was not as extraordinary as Jia Yan’s in his early years, it was still remarkable considering the child was just a few years old, reaching the Heavenly Level so soon after birth, showing how prodigious his talent was.

Jia Yan was about to see if this boy had the potential to enter the Star Space Level.

Outside the house, Jia Yan asked uncertainly,

”Right, your name is Rongrong, isn’t it? Jia Rong?” Since he had been reluctant to acknowledge the child before, Jia Yan had yet to officially learn his name.

”Yep, my name is Jia Rong. Just be careful of my attacks, Dad... if it hurts, no crying,” the little boy said, swinging his arms and moving his legs, about a couple of meters away from Jia Yan. However, Jia Yan’s repeated requests not to call him Dad seemed to have irritated him.

He had barely finished speaking when his figure flashed!

Pfft!

The boy’s speed was incredibly fast, his explosiveness extremely powerful. In the blink of an eye, he was attacking Jia Yan.

However, Jia Yan easily caught the boy’s attacks, even though he had suppressed his power to the same Early Stage of Heavenly Level.

With a gentle touch of his palm, Jia Yan deftly deflected the child’s punch.

Instantly, the child’s expression changed, because he knew if his mother used her Mid-Celestial Level strength, she could suppress him like this, but if she were at the Early Stage of Heavenly Level, it wouldn’t be so easy for her to beat him; yet this suddenly appearing ’Dad’ seemed to be able to suppress him effortlessly even at the same Early Stage of Heavenly Level!

After two more punches and three kicks, the ground was pounding loudly, which left Little JiaQi watching from the side unable to keep up.

Jia Qi had known that her power was much weaker compared to her much younger brother, but even after advancing to the Heavenly Level, driven by a sense of unwillingness, she had fought this brother, whose talent was touted as terrifying. The situation could only be described as miserable; a little cousin who only stood as tall as her navel had effortlessly defeated her.

But now, this cousin whom she deemed very strong was being played like a child by Jia Yan, whose casual deflections made the attacks pointlessly innocuous.

Looking at the ground, it seemed Jia Yan had intentionally guided the attacks away, leaving no sign of damage on what should have been cratered earth.

Of course, Jia Yan was just playing with a child. His perspective, as well as his power, had long surpassed those of the strong beings in the Orion Arm, and even if he suppressed his power to Earth Level, he could still easily suppress Little Rongrong in front of him. It was just to give some face to what seemed to be a competitive child that he didn’t go full out.

The thudding sounds lingered for a long time, and as the little boy couldn’t gain an advantage, he rolled over and flew up into the sky.

At the Heavenly Level, he naturally possessed powerful flying abilities.

He flew out for a full three hundred meters, adjusted his position, and then with a shout, darted towards Jia Yan’s location at almost the speed of sound.

He was getting serious now.

But Jia Yan still stood in his place, and in fact, since the fight started, he had not moved a step.

The little boy’s punch, laced with huge momentum, seemed as though, without dodging, Jia Yan would be pierced entirely by the fist.

Thank you ’Tragic Aquarius2000’ for the two thousand Starty Coins reward, thank you!!
