At the same time, a large right hand gently reached out.

Puff!

This right hand blocked above the small fist.

The palm moved faster than lightning, grasping the little boy’s fists.

And with a gentle force, it took hold of the child lightly and then set him down from the air.

Naturally, the owner of the hand was Jia Yan. At that moment, he looked at the child, held the little fists in his palm gently, set him down on the ground, and simply said, ”Alright, it seems I have won. You won’t be getting your sister’s chocolate.”

Jia Rong’s eyes turned red. He knew the gap between himself and this man, who called himself his dad, was too vast—it really was just like an adult playing with a child.

”Why? I didn’t bully you, yet you want to cry?” Jia Yan sighed with a bit of helplessness.

But these words seemed to have struck a nerve in the child, and his tears flowed uncontrollably.

”You bully Mom!” Jia Rong yelled out loud.

”Uh.” Jia Yan looked at him speechlessly, not understanding how the child, who seemed so smart and mature, suddenly broke into tears.

The little boy’s crying grew louder, as if he was venting all his frustrations and emotions.

”You still say you didn’t bully Mom, she cried because of you. Wuu, I will become strong, I will protect Mom, and everybody looks at us strangely, it’s all your fault, I will become stronger than you, then I won’t let you bully Mom!”

The little boy wasn’t as ignorant as he appeared. From his crying, it was clear that even as a child, he understood the treatment and perspectives he received inside Jia’s family.

”You won’t let me call you dad, and I don’t want to call you that either! I will surpass you, then make you apologize to Mom! Wuuu...”

Jia Yan fell silent, not having expected the child to say even Samo Ling would cry.

Jia Rong continued to fuss, but Jia Yan stood up and walked towards his residence.

Jia Yan understood he had hurt the child’s feelings. Yet, in his heart, it was hard to accept the child and the ’wife’ he came with.

”Want to surpass me? You will have to work hard. Your strength is still far behind mine.” Jia Yan left these words to the child as his silhouette faded into bleakness.

”However, you can use the name Jia Rong...” he said.

Then, the doors to the house were abruptly closed.

From that day onward, Jia Rong never appeared near Jia Yan’s residence, although they all knew that with Jia Yan’s strength, knowing any movement within Jia’s family at the moment was easy. Yet Jia Rong’s hatred for Jia Yan had taken deep root and he refused to show himself in front of Jia Yan ever again.

Jia Yan knew he was wrong, and also realized he had taken an unwise approach to confrontation, yet there were things in his heart that he could not let go of. At a certain level of strength, if one cannot even follow their own heart, then they cannot be that powerful.

To change his perspective, it might have to wait until he could open his own mindset.

”Uncle Jiu, what did you call me over for today?”

Two days had passed, and Jia Qi came before Jia Yan. The young girl appeared to have no fondness for Jia Yan now. She didn’t know what happened in the uncle’s family, only knowing that since two days ago, her little cousin had thrown himself into frenzied cultivation. Just a child over three years old, normally such children would just be starting kindergarten, yet he already knew so much and was very well-behaved, Jia Qi couldn’t understand why her uncle disliked his son.

”Qiqi, Uncle knows you are somewhat upset because of my family’s issues. Don’t think too much, there are some special reasons here, and it’s not that Uncle doesn’t like your cousin. Anyway, in a while, I will find a way to resolve this issue. Today I called you here to tell you that Uncle needs to take a long trip starting today, and while I’m away, don’t be mischievous at home and train hard, okay?”

Jia Yan skirted around the topic of Jia Rong, then instructed.

”Okay, Uncle Jiu, are you going to the edge of the Solar System again? I want to go too, can you take me?” Qiqi, still a child, was immediately distracted by Jia Yan’s topic.

”No, this time I’m going to a place even further away, and I can’t take you with me. Maybe another time,” Jia Yan shook his head.

...

The news of ’Sir Mo Ke’ wanting to punish the two Great Empires spread, whether intentionally or unintentionally, and within just a few days it had reached every corner of Earth.

Numerous topics sprung up in the media, featuring special guests, some of whom denied this hypothesis, while others discussed the feasibility of Sir Mo Ke, if he were to really punish the two Great Empires, and how viable that would be.

”Overall, this topic is just misinformation spreading further. We have already summarized several major issues, the biggest being whether his power is strong enough to punish the two Great Empires. After all, their strength is something we Earth people cannot comprehend. Moreover, there are more practical issues regarding travel; for Sir Mo Ke to reach the nearest Ru Lan Empire using Earth’s fastest spacecraft would take hundreds of years. Surely he wouldn’t spend so much time on such an act? And where does his motivation to do this come from?”

”No, I think the points you’ve mentioned are not issues. The strength of this powerful being is beyond what we Earth people can imagine. As for the motive, if he is indeed a powerful being from Earth lost in the universe, wouldn’t it be normal for him to harbor resentment towards the two Great Empires that harmed his homeland? Also, regarding the way of flying, he’s been able to fly back to Earth from space, and previously he took the Grand Princess Jia Qi to the edges of the Solar System in just a few days. Do you think he wouldn’t have his own spacecraft? So, I think what’s being spread recently is very likely.”

”Exactly, no smoke without fire!”

Various TV media were engaged in relentless debates about whether Sir Mo Ke would actually go and punish the two Great Empires, with countless versions of discussions available.

Of course, the general populace, more than anything, felt excitement about such claims, as having such a powerful being meant these statements could be made on Earth’s behalf. Whether or not Jia Yan will actually go and fight against the two Great Empires didn’t matter much to them.

However, on this particular day, the masked man literally showed up in public.

Indeed, Jia Yan appeared.

Under the gaze of all, he entered the Earth Alliance Headquarters in Shanghai City.

Not long afterwards, Earth Alliance Headquarters released a statement that shocked and was almost unbelievable to all Earth people!

The strongest individual on Earth now, ’Sir Mo Ke,’ in his personal capacity, requested that the Earth Alliance issue the most severe condemnation of the ’Ru Lan Empire’ and ’Auster Empire,’ along with a call for war reparations.

”It is hereby ordered that Earth’s strong one, Sir Mo Ke, is the presenter of this declaration and he handles all diplomacy and related matters. If the two Great Empires do not comply, it... it would mean that the Earth Alliance is declaring war, at which time, the Earth Alliance will mobilize the entire nation to campaign against the two Great Empires.”

When the chief diplomat of the Earth Alliance, usually articulate but now somewhat stammering, read this declaration of war reparations in front of global media, his body trembled slightly.

If this declaration were to be known by the two Great Empires, who knows how they would react! Do Earth people really have the strength to fight a war? This diplomat was well aware that Earth people don’t even precisely know where the two Great Empires are, let alone wage a war. Just traveling to their controlled territories would take hundreds of years, a fruitless venture.

But he dared not refrain from reading the declaration because it was proposed by a new powerful being on Earth, Sir Mo Ke, and within this declaration, it was clearly stated for the first time that Mo Ke is an Earth person!

Such a powerful Earth person indeed, when the highest leaders on Earth saw this declaration, their first instinct was astonishment, but seeing Sir Mo Ke claim he is an Earth person also gave them a sense of strong backing.

With such a powerful presence, what is there to fear from war?

But does this powerful being truly intend to go to the lands of the two Great Empires to demand the prosecutions of war? The future of Earth was really uncertain then.

”Good, you did well.”

When the media finally presented enough, Jia Yan came forward, accompanied by a group of trembling Earth leaders.

After Shanghai became the new emerging central hub for Earth people, the entire Earth Alliance moved its headquarters here, so one could always encounter most of Earth’s leaders.

At this moment, these leaders had an incredulous thought about Sir Mo Ke; previously he had said: ”The reason I issued this declaration is because I do not want Earth people to be suddenly overwhelmed if a large amount of reparations were to arrive.”

His tone seemed certain that a significant amount of reparations would indeed come from issuing this declaration.

Could it be that what the media had been discussing every day about Sir Mo Ke, his intention to confront the two Great Empires, is true?

One after another, the leaders finally understood why this topic had instantly exploded across all media and the internet; perhaps this was subtly instigated by the powerful being himself.

”All right, rest assured, when I return, I’ll bring a vast amount of resources, along with countless technology and talents.” Jia Yan seemed oblivious to these leaders’ concerns, at this moment merely asking them to relax.

Not long after, under the watchful eyes of countless civilians, Jia Yan began to slowly ascend to the sky from the center of Shanghai, the site of the Earth Alliance Headquarters.

Everyone knew, this being was heading to the territories of the two Great Empires that had brought endless pain to Earth people, to demand ’war reparations.’

And he was doing this alone.
