Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 692: Chapter 7: Destroy the Metal Monster in Ten Days!? [Subscribe] _1

So that’s the issue!

Jia Yan chuckled lightly. It seemed the opposition was still only concerned about the here and now. For them, it was probably hard to believe that Jia Yan — this monstrosity — could handle the Metal Monster.

This mining machine, although battle-modified, is still only a mining machine. To Jia Yan, who has fought real aliens, there still isn’t much of a difference!

”A few days? Ha, the Metal Monster will be obliterated within ten days! I hope you Earth people can agree upon this within those ten days. See you then!”

After pronouncing these words, Jia Yan spread his wings and flew skyward!

The colossal body, reaching up to thirty meters, burst into the sky, creating sonic booms!

Boom! Boom! Boom!!

After breaking through the sound barrier one after another, the thirty-meter body quickly became a tiny dot. In a matter of seconds, it resembled a rocket now lost in outer space!

All that was left were the soldiers of the Central Army of Shanghai, staring dumbfounded at each other.

Ten days? This Giant Mosquito promised to handle the Metal Monster — the creature that has been tormenting Earth people for ten years, their life-or-death nemesis — all within ten days!

Was it a joke? But would the Mosquito Tribe joke? Members of the Central Army of Shanghai wore ever-changing expressions on their faces, mostly of disbelief!

”Hurry! Contact the Central Government! No, the United Nations! The Anti-Metal Monster Alliance! Our Central Army of Shanghai will finally get our fame!” The officer who had been conversing with Jia Yan burst into laughter, excited and elated.

Whether the Big Mosquito can defeat the Metal Monster within ten days, he didn’t know. But when this alien reappeared in their camp and mentioned ’alliance,’ it alone made their dwindling force the focus of global attention!

He wouldn’t let this chance slip by!

The Central Army of Shanghai was in an uproar!

This excitement would soon spread to the entire Earth!

This ordinary autumn day might become a grand holiday in the future. After all, it was the day the Mosquito Tribe made their personal appearance, dialogued with humans, and even proposed a friendly alliance!

The Earth was going to storm in anticipation, Jia Yan could see. But he didn’t care much anymore.

The impending threat was still imminent!

Jia Yan flew toward outer space.

In the distant starry sky, stars flickered. Caught by the beautiful sight, Jia Yan seemed to slow down during his flight.

”I’m back on Earth and have begun what needs to be done. But is this what I wanted?” Jia Yan was unsure.

All this should have been joyous to him. But at this moment, he didn’t feel that excited.

Having been back on Earth for half a day, his plans were underway. He even saw his family and learned they were safe. But even with that, Jia Yan realized he wasn’t as exhilarated as he should have been.

”Ha, humans are always greedy. I’m no exception!” Jia Yan knew that deep down, he craved more. Not a brief meeting with his family but rather a normal family life. Especially after seeing his niece, he discovered unknown emotions within him...

”Sigh, oh well! No point worrying. The huge threat to Earth is imminent. The supposed one-year time allowance I mentioned was just a wild guess. The exploration ship from the two alien civilizations could arrive at any time now.”

Jia Yan forced himself not to linger on trifles. Alone, he flew, like the ancient beast of legend, mastering the winds and heading toward the horizon...

His huge body still retained its enormity, but there was a tinge of loneliness to it.

Strength doesn’t always mean a strong heart. Every intelligent creature might spend a lifetime grappling with inner emotions. Is this what the strong and mighty Giant Mosquito, Jia Yan, is going to face as well?

Maybe life full of struggles and pains is what makes it truly meaningful?

Jia Yan was unsure whether this was the case. All he knew was that no matter the issues, he had to stay strong and survive.

This was applicable to any living organism, regardless of their dwelling on Earth or in outer space, their strength or weakness.

The body of the Giant Mosquito soared upward like a huge shell, disappearing into the sky.

In a faraway place a hundred miles, a spacecraft was undergoing adjustments.

”So this is the main control switch of the controller. The Auster people truly were remarkable, their technology from 300 years ago is no less astonishing.”

”This is the gravity controller. Compared to the modern models, this is more complex but durable. However, it has too many drawbacks. It doesn’t match up to the efficiency and compactness of current gravity controllers. There is a need for improvement!”

”...” Elite scholars from Earth City were persistently tinkering with the equipment inside the spacecraft.

Earlier, Jia Yan had handed them the spacecraft’s main controller. Now, they could control the spacecraft to leave Earth and escape to other places. But, they made no such move.
