Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 653: Chapter 30 Arrival of the Mysterious Powerhouse!【Seeking Subscription】_1

Big Mosquito wants to design his own equipment? Daphne was taken aback.

However, she did not say anything. Perhaps she was momentarily more adept with scheming than Jia Yan, but when it comes to fighting, Big Mosquito is the real expert!

After delegating these two tasks, Jia Yan watched as Daphne excused herself and left.

”Phew...” The heavy stone weighing on his heart was finally lifted.

As a naturally suspicious being, even after Daphne had done so much, Jia Yan still did not fully trust this woman. Nobody knew the hardships he had endured since becoming a Mosquito. Nobody knew of his relentless doubts about all things.

However, today, Daphne’s actions were finally accepted by Jia Yan. He could feel her genuine care for Earth, even if he maintained a slight wariness.

What she wanted was for the Earth Army to entirely reach the Milky Way, protecting the Earth and even assisting in the development of technologies to allow Earth to enter the starry sky! It was not an easy thing to believe.

However, Daphne’s actions had indeed moved him. To him, her deeds were genuine and sincere.

”Alright, now, Daphne had said that the construction of the gravitational wave device would be completed soon. If it’s just to barely function, it could be up and running within a month’s Earth time.” Jia Yan mulled over this, anticipation filling his heart once again.

Arriving at Grey-Yellow Star seemed short-lived, but they had indeed spent countless months in reality. Coupled with time spent within gravitational waves, Jia Yan suspected that years might have passed on Earth. After all, the theory of gravity in gravitational waves is beyond common knowledge.

Daphne had mentioned to me previously that when we first arrived in Scholz’s star system through gravitational waves, it seemed to take no time at all, but we might have passed an indefinite amount of time! So, returning to Earth now is a matter of urgency.”

After some thought, Jia Yan refocused his attention, knowing that he could not help in the construction of the device. So he immersed himself in studying for his future equipment.

Time gradually passed, and 24 hours may seem long, but for research, it was way too short!

Fortunately, Jia Yan was not a researcher. He used Daphne’s Smart Brain to sketch out a rudimentary blueprint, and wrote instructions in Ostro language at the bottom. He believed that the biologists and scientists would understand his words.

After spending a short but harder time than a fight, Jia Yan discovered that it has been a long time since he used his brain this intensely. Finishing up his last stroke on the small screen with his front foot, he finally completed the design.

A crude sketch appeared on the holographic screen, much like a drawing by a three-year-old. But Jia Yan still managed to create a general structure plan. Those who can’t understand the sketch could understand the device’s design principles based on the description provided.

”The scientists would understand,” he thought to himself with a touch of self-mockery.

He ordered a worker nearby to bring Daphne’s Smart Brain holograph to the scientists. After that, he prepared to rest well...

”Lord Assassin, long time no see.”

All of a sudden, a strange voice emerged near Jia Yan’s body!

Jia Yan felt as though his brain was shaking!

His acute sense of crisis gushed out uncontrollably. The overwhelming sense of danger turned his entire body a ghastly shade of blue instantly!

This voice appeared too terrifyingly!

As a Starry Sky Level Expert, Jia Yan had reached a level where he almost laughed in the face of the challenges in this starfield. Even powerful beings like Otto could hardly kill him.

However, the appearance of this mysterious voice was completely unpredictable. Jia Yan could not even discern if it was brainwave power!

If the owner of the voice harbored ill will against him, they would not need to speak, a simple attack would suffice. Jia Yan feared he wouldn’t have enough time to activate the Bluish Defense and would be severely wounded!

”Who’s there!?”

With a hint of fear, he raised his large head and continually scanned his surroundings.

What kind of mysterious powerhouse was this!? Jia Yan was certain that the strength of this unknown being surpassed that of Otto, even without comparing actual combat power. As far as he knew, there were only a few beings powerful enough to overshadow beings at Otto’s level in this starry sky!

He even doubted if he could keep his life intact if he confronted this powerhouse!

Damn it, why did it have to appear now, when Earth City is still developing!?

Jia Yan did not know whether this entity had hostile or friendly intentions, but he knew he mustn’t let the city’s fleet be destroyed!

After all, he had invested so much effort and the successful launch of the gravitational wave device was imminent!
