Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 674: Chapter 1: Return of the Giant Mosquito!!!【The New Volume】_1

A new and radiant year is upon us, and I thank all the brothers and sisters who have supported us until now. The fact that you’ve come this far shows your dedication, here’s a kiss for you, muah! Haha

——

This is a planet filled with deep blue hues.

Vast oceans give this jewel-like, beautiful planet an appearance of a pearl dotted in the pitch-black universe, beautiful and captivating.

Above the surface, pure white clouds float, pressing low on the terrains, intermittently flashing electric arcs — warning signs of a thunderstorm!

Below the storm clouds, the ground appears to be turned into a vast ocean.

Roar Roar Roar——

Large raindrops fall noiselessly onto the soil, stirring up shallow splashes.

This is a severe thunderstorm.

While it’s not considered good weather, in the eyes of the Earth people of the past, it would certainly not have been a good day to go out.

But times have changed. The arrival of this thunderstorm not only stops people from complaining but causes many to rejoice!

Thud Thud Thud!!! ——

Consecutive footstep sounds can be heard running persistently on the muddy path.

The source of these footsteps is a little boy, who appears no older than four or five. The boy giggles profusely and seems to be captivatingly amused as if it’s been quite some time since he has been out in the open; everything provides him with a fresh and exciting experience.

”Brot- Broth...” Behind the little boy, a girl, who seems younger by a year or two, makes an effort. She’s evidently just learning to walk and wobbles as she tries to catch up with the boy. Yet, her clumsy movements don’t seem to grant her success.

”Brot...” Regardless of the rain falling on her, she erupts into infantile laughter; her call for ’Brother’ demonstrates she is the younger sister of the boy ahead.

”Tingyun, don’t run too fast.” A woman’s voice transmits from behind the two children.

The woman seems incredibly familiar, who is continuously surveying her surroundings, she seems a bit tense.

”Don’t worry, there are no metal monsters around. Our guerrilla squad had a cleanup operation here a few days ago.”

Another man emerges from the back. He too seems familiar, only he appears healthier than before, and his face is covered in various sizes of scars. If one looks carefully, they would notice scarring from lethal injuries all over his body. He clearly is a warrior who has braved many battles.

”Yes, yes, your guerrilla squad is super capable, isn’t it! But just think about who provoked those metal monsters in the first place, forcing us to move in this rain!?” The woman can’t help but show her anger towards this man.

She looks to be in her thirties, but her age hasn’t marred her beauty. Instead, her maturity only adds an unexplained allure.

This is a woman whose charm deepens with age.

However, it’s quite clear that she isn’t available, considering how she treats her two children and this man, one can tell they are a family.

”TongYu, that’s not entirely correct! If it wasn’t for our resistance, would there still be large parts of peace around here? Maybe the army of metallic monsters would have already attacked!” The man shows a displeased expression. Yet, upon seeing his wife glaring at him, he quickly becomes awkward and speechless...

Only upon hearing their conversation does one realize that the woman is Ye TongYu, the girl who had many encounters with Jia Yan!

However, time flies, and it’s unknown how much time has passed. This erstwhile beautiful girl is no longer a young beauty but has transformed into a mature and appealing woman!

As for the burly man, though his change is more significant than the woman, faint traces on his face reveal that he is ’Zhang Shiming’, the ’college student’ who was always with Ye TongYu!

The two of them were brought together due to the Big Mosquito and even spent some time enthusiastically investigating everything about the Giant Mosquito.

But the Giant Mosquito species, like shooting stars, were seen on Earth for a period before they vanished without a trace. No one knows if it was just one.

In their pursuit of life, these two young people eventually found each other amidst running and battling.

Those two children are their offspring!

The past is but history, yet occasionally, during idle chit-chats during the evening, they would remember their distant memories of their hilarious pursuit of the ’Giant Mosquito species’.

Even now, when discussing the Big Mosquito of the past with others, they still argue with anyone who contradicts them, becoming red-faced! Perhaps this is their stubbornness!

What’s past is past, now on Earth, the most important thing is to protect their offspring and continue living!

”Sigh, I don’t know when this war will finally end.” Ye TongYu stopped arguing with Zhang Shiming, gently brushed her disheveled hair that had scattered on the back of her neck under the rain, and held an umbrella over her head. Unlike her children, she wasn’t drenched.

”Yeah, lately the metal monsters have been intensifying their attacks. Apart from such rainy days, which slightly reduce their attacking force, at other times, the entire ground is in danger.”
