Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 685: Chapter 4: Family Gathering! [Seeking Subscription]_3

Perhaps it all started as a promise. Perhaps all he initially wanted was some material or status in exchange.

However, he could not deny that he had developed a friendly bond with Jia’s family. Even if the so-called ’insect words’ senior did not appear again, he would uphold his promise and protect this family indefinitely.

But if he could receive some sort of reward, or even affirmation, that would undoubtedly be the best!

And now, this so-called ’Newcomer from Giant Mosquito Clan’ that has been constantly popping up on the radio led to immense joy and shock that caused him to become speechless. How could it not?!

Yes, the village still had a radio. Just a moment ago, they heard about a ’new Giant Mosquito’, possibly even stronger than the previous ones, returning to Earth after nearly a decade.

Jia Yan just got the news. Before he had the chance to react, the commotion caused by the Giant Mosquito had already reached their ears!

The Bearded man’s surprise was not yet over.

”Big Mosquito!”

A shout filled with incredible joy echoed from behind him!

At the same time, Jia Yan in the sky, who was looking at the Bearded man and was about to ask something, also came to a sudden stop!

He forced himself to stay calm and turned his gaze to the women behind the Bearded man.

There, a woman whose appearance hadn’t changed substantially, except for it being more mature, called out to him full of joy! Her attire was a bit old, but she was still dressed meticulously.

Jia Yan mother and father, both of whose aging had even more pronounced over the past ten years, slowly walked out of their house...

Father Jia still retained that honest man’s demeanor, while Mother Jia already had half white hair!

Ten years had passed, and time had made both of them significantly older!

Jai Yan could feel his blood boiling!

He wanted to call out, but no sound could escape!

He wanted to embrace his family, but his large body would only harm them!

Jia Yan didn’t know how to express his feelings. All he could do was hover in the air, looking at his elderly parents and his sister, who was shouting something towards the sky, unable to react!

During his time in Scholz’s Star System, Jia Yan had repeatedly envisaged the scene when he would return to Earth. He’d thought that he might rescue them in times of crisis, or found them all dead, or have to exert enormous efforts to find them.

But rather, they met under such normal circumstances.

His family was still in the same place, as if they had been waiting for him all those years.

Jia Yan was stunned! He didn’t know how to react!

”Big Mosquito, is it you?! Speak up,” Jia Lin cried out loudly. She was unaware that she was shedding tears.

From her past experiences, Jia Lin, a woman as strong as Jia Yan, had a lot of not-so-good memories. But she always held on to the notion: the Big Mosquito that had helped their family before would certainly return again and take good care of them like family members!

In her opinion, the Big Mosquito always felt...

...like family!

There were even times when it had saved her – the naive Jia Lin; she almost felt as if it were her departed brother, Jia Yan!

For ten years, she had hidden this thought in her heart. But now, seeing the Big Mosquito again after nearly ten years, Jia Lin couldn’t restrain her emotions.

Faced with the crying Jia Lin, the Jia Yan in the sky didn’t know how to respond.

He didn’t realize that she was just a sister throwing tantrums at her brother.

While everyone was in an awkward situation, a man with glasses walked towards Jia Lin and gently embraced her shoulders.

”Mama...” a baby girl in his arms stretched out her chubby little hand, asking her mother to hold her.

”Wha...?!” Suddenly, Jia Yan in the sky paused.

If he had heard correctly, was the adorable baby girl shouting ’Mama’?!

It can’t be!

His little sister, the young girl who used to be coquettish and naive, already had a child?!

And it looked like she’d had the kid with that bespectacled man... No, damn it, that guy was the bespectacled Assassin!!

BOOM, BOOM, BOOM, BOOM, BOOM, BOOM!!

All the villagers suddenly felt a strong wind gushing from the sky.

The Giant Mosquito Monster started moving, and it wasn’t a friendly movement; it appeared infuriated!

”Is this how you take care of Jia’s family when I asked you to?!” the deep voice of a man familiar to the villagers, that sounded like the rumbling of thunder, roared from above!

”...”

Jia Yan never thought that these would be the first words he would say upon seeing his family.

However, it did break the ice and instantly revealed his identity as the ’Giant Mosquito’ from before!

As for letting the Earth people know that he is a monster whose growth rate far surpasses their expectations, Jia Yan didn’t mind at this point. Even if they found out that those ’Giant Mosquito Clan’ members they know of, were all him, it didn’t matter.

Given Jia Yan’s current strength, the Earth’s armed forces couldn’t harm him in the least!

Even if all the atomic and hydrogen bombs in the world were launched at him, Jia Yan wouldn’t be scared! Regardless of whether his bluish defense can withstand them or not, the launch speed of these nuclear weapons was not even half as fast as his flight speed, so they would never harm him.
