Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 654: Chapter 30 Arrival of the Mysterious Powerhouse!【Seeking Subscription】_2

”Lord Assassin, I bear no ill-will. If you’re willing, we can meet face to face,” murmured a ghostly voice from all directions.

Jia Yan’s compound eyes flickered briefly, before he quickly exited the transport ship.

The fleet had already begun to slow down as it was scheduled to near several alien population centers, and for some reason, it was now in the void of space, possibly for regular power system maintenance.

Once Jia Yan had flown out of the transport ship, he spotted a familiar figure a few kilometers away in space!

The moment he saw the figure, Jia Yan’s luminous eyes trembled.

Before seeing the true face of the other party, he thought of many possibilities, even guessing whether the other party might be one of the extremely mighty supreme powerhouses of the Biochemical Empire!

But he never imagined that he’d meet a powerful entity he had seen previously, but had not taken much notice of!

The Supreme Commander of the Insect Clan on the Grey-Yellow Star!

It was none other than the giant moth monster, which was comparable in size to the thirty-meter physique of Jia Yan!

Jia Yan stared disbelievingly at the monster located far away.

He had thought of many scenarios, but he hadn’t considered encountering this being.

It wasn’t because he underestimated this insect clan commander, but rather because the commander’s past performances in the Grey-Yellow Star and the entire War weren’t notable. Even during his confrontation with Jia Yan, accompanied by the Bullhorn Monster Commander of the Biochemical Empire, he didn’t utter a single word!

For all these reasons, Jia Yan had inadvertently neglected this entity until he realized his mistake just now!

The Insect Clan!

In this starry sky, they were the most mysterious and also the most inscrutable species!

Ever since their appearance, they’ve been present alongside the Biochemical Empire’s rise until now. If the history of the Biochemical Empire was a tale of conflicts from all sides, then the Insect Clan was the eternal supporter and ally, helping in wars over hundreds of years and contributing significantly to the empire’s strength!

No one knew the origin of the Insect Clan, nor their purpose! Many civilizations frankly admitted that they completely failed in communicating with the Insect Clan. The Clan seemed like fighters riding on the coattails of the Biochemical Empire, displaying a combat power that entirely surpassed the Biochemical Empire at times. However, they’ve never shown any desire for territory or resources. It seemed as if their existence was solely to aid the Biochemical Empire in battles, nothing more...

Yet now, Jia Yan had encountered an insect clan powerhouse, appearing alone and speaking!

The sense of crisis in his heart heightened to a new level, but he had no choice but to fly towards the Insect Clan commander with a brave face.

Soon, they were no more than a hundred meters apart, close enough for an easy attack from either side!

”Lord Assassin, hello. Please forgive me for showing up uninvited,” said the moth monster, sounding devoid of any emotions after examining Jia Yan.

This indifference, free of hostility, arrogance, or any emotional fluctuations, was akin to a robot, yet surprisingly different.

”Greetings, honorable Supreme Commander of the Insect Clan. While I admit to being surprised at your presence, I still welcome you. However, I hope you’re not here to capture us, because I won’t give up without a fight!”

Jia Yan’s compound eyes flickered before he responded respectfully. After all, the other was treating him with respect. He owed it to them to return the favor.

”Rest assured, I’m not here to capture you. If I wanted that, I would’ve done so on the Grey-Yellow Star.”

The giant moth eyeing Jia Yan and his similar-looking monster body, seemingly pondering something upon sighting the azure patches...

”Then, Lord, might I ask what brings you here? Aside from trying to capture me, I can’t think of any reason you would track me through the vast expanse of space.”

”Rest assured, I didn’t come here to capture you. The Insect army on Grey-Yellow Star only ever act upon the orders of the Biochemical Empire, and I’ve no intention of revealing my strength, so you needn’t worry.”

”I only wished to ascertain one thing.”

The Insect Clan Commander eyeballed the dark blue patches on Jia Yan’s body, his cold demeanor momentarily interrupted by a subtly different, eerie glow.

”Oh? May I ask what that is?”

The Insect Clan Commander did not directly respond to Jia Yan’s words; instead, the glow in his compound eyes intensified, causing Jia Yan to retreat tens of meters cautiously!

Jia Yan was deeply on guard against this incredibly mysterious monster!

The timing of his appearance, his method of arrival, and his unfathomable strength were all inexplicable to Jia Yan!

Although the Insect Commander appeared to be alone, he suddenly appeared near the Earth City Fleet in space. Amid the vast expanse of the starry sky surrounding them, there were no backup fleets or any transport devices in sight. It was as though he had crossed vast distances from the Splendid Star to track down the Earth Fleet with just his physical strength. Rather than attacking, he spoke to Jia Yan with baffling words at this moment.
