[Please Subscribe] _1 These two mushroom clouds, unlike those caused by other nuclear weapons, embodied a glimmer of hope harbored by the military and humanity as a whole.

They hoped that by using their ultimate, desperate weapon, they could deliver a significant blow to the army of metallic monsters, fueling mankind’s determination to resist them even more fervently!

However….

The dust and smoke settled.

The clouds were blown away by the immense force.

On the ground, the countless army of metallic monsters were thrown around by the massive nuclear force, dropping like dumplings from the sky.

But apart from the minimal amount at the epicenter of the explosion….

The toppled metallic monsters began to roll and rise from the ground one by one….

As if the force of the explosion, the power of nuclear radiation, had no effect on them!

The impact of the two nuclear warheads, combined, had caused less than a thousand casualties amongst the metallic monsters!

And that’s considering the densely packed situation of the metallic monsters….

The Earth’s army was astounded!

Perhaps they didn’t know, these metallic monsters were simply mining robots left behind by an alien civilization on Earth – had they known this, their astonishment might have been even greater!

However, their current surprise is great enough!

Even a large-scale nuclear attack couldn’t significantly harm these metallic monsters!

So what now for the people of Earth?!

There’s no way out!

There really is no other way to counteract the attack of the metallic monsters!

Despite Earth’s offensive, the metallic monsters appear unfazed.

The large forces they’ve assembled continue to rapidly approach various cities!

The attack is about to begin!

The outcome of this attack will determine whether humans on Earth transform from being the dominant species to becoming marginalized or continue to be the dominant force!

Though the metallic monsters are powerful, their drawback is their limited numbers.

With only over a million in total, compared to Earth’s population of six billion, it is a massive difference.

If all humans were to rise up and resist, the outcome of the war might be unexpectedly interesting!

After all, humans are no fools.

On the contrary, their dominion over Earth is a testament to their strength!

Their learning capability in war is extremely fast!

Although the metallic monsters hold all the advantages, they might continue to do so.

However, their victory may not be so simple in the face of the massive human population!

Earth’s humans, a species with vast numbers and unparalleled intelligence, are about to unleash their immense potential!

Along with their unyielding racial power!

The great war has begun!

The happenings on Earth seem incredibly distant to Big Mosquito in the universe.

And indeed they are!

Jia Yan, who occasionally watches the video feed, can no longer see Earth.

His surroundings are perennially dark.

Even the flying rod vehicle that moves at an astonishing speed seems immobile.

It’s as if everything around has paused.

Jia Yan has no idea where Daphne wants to take him.

It seems to be the so-called signal relay base based on her description.

Earlier, he thought that the signal relay base, no matter how far, couldn’t possibly be too distant from Earth, but now he realizes that he was utterly wrong!

Two days have passed already, and it seems like the distant journey will continue for some time.

Jia Yan glanced at the scenery in the video, reminisced about his family, then refocused his attention on the paper in front of him.

But at the very next moment, a mysterious power sprang to life inside Jia Yan’s mind!

“I…

I…”

An eerie voice suddenly emerged in the dim environment.

The voice sounded like a man’s, resonant and imposing!

Jia Yan seemed startled; he looked around in surprise.

After spotting nothing unusual, he drew back his gaze, puzzled.

A slim foreleg curiously touched his skull as if wondering if the voice actually came from himself?!

Just moments ago, after two days of training, Jia Yan started to figure out the nature of the so-called brainwave power.

This power seemed to be something that strove to manifest thoughts in his mind.

It was difficult to control, which made it different from the superpowers he had imagined.

Although the mystery of the power had somewhat diminished for Jia Yan, harnessing it proved to be a challenging task!

Just before, he had tried to release his brainwave power, as described in the books.

What he was doing was using the power of the mind to manipulate the surrounding air, causing it to vibrate and produce sound – precisely as recorded in the books.

This was the simplest way to use brainwave power.

The air was an ordinary medium, and the power required to manipulate it was not too great.

However, even this straightforward application of brainwave power had seen Jia Yan fail no less than a hundred times.

But Jia Yan felt that was normal!

After all, he had just started learning about these so-called brainwave techniques.

If it were so easy to succeed, wouldn’t that be the strange thing?

This task was like physical training – how he could possibly succeed without some time to acclimatize!

Jia Yan was prepared for long-term training.

However, while he was continuing his training, a strange sensation hit him.

Then, he heard it – a faint sound generated by air under his brain’s manipulation!

“I…

I…”

That was the first sound that Jia Yan made!

Jia Yan’s compound eyes seemed to freeze.

He looked at the air around him, feeling an unreal sensation.

Although he had seen lots of odd things, even been inside a spacecraft, or in outer space, he had never felt this unreal.

But hearing himself make a noise again gave him an uncanny feeling of unreality!

After all, being a Big Mosquito accustomed to not co-mingle or communicate, living seemingly forever alone in the vast universe, hearing his own voice again was a big thing – even if this ‘voice’ was fundamentally different from the real speech.

But it was a way of speaking after all!

So, Jia Yan was overwhelmed by an incredible sense of unreality!

Not soon after, he quickly threw aside other thoughts and started to recall the sensation just before he made a sound!

“I…

I…

am…

am…

am am am…”

Jia Yan realized that he was actually making a sound.

The previous approach was correct.

His brain power was manipulating the air to vibrate and make a sound.

In fact, these vibrations had been there during his previous practice, but he made some mistakes, preventing the air vibrations from producing any sound.

The only thing happened was a minor turbulence, like a breeze blowing.

The Big Mosquito was so engrossed in learning that he didn’t notice these minor air changes!

But now he was sounding out words in a difficult and halting manner, just like a baby learning to talk.

He had really learned!

He could really talk!

Jia Yan was overwhelmed with indescribable joy.

Speaking was a mundane thing for ordinary people, but to Big Mosquito it was a huge surprise, so his joy was indeed beyond words!

He started practicing continuously!

“I am…

I…

I am…

I have…

I am…

one…

one…

one one one…”

It was easy to start, but mastering the basics was still extremely difficult for Jia Yan.

He tried a few times before he could barely pronounce a few words.

Moreover, using these few words seemed to consume a great deal of his energy.

After spending not much time, Jia Yan began to experience headaches and found it hard to concentrate.
