Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

They found Earth in a staggered sequence but all roughly around three hundred years ago.

They all found out that Earth was a planet teeming with life, even giving birth to an elementary civilization.”

“For a planet with an elementary civilization, those three civilizations showed little interest.

More interests and overarching rule are often the subjects in your Earth’s science fiction movies.

Reality is that, for any far-off civilization, it’s improbable for them to expend significant effort on ruling a life group that is biologically different from them on such a planet.

It’s both troublesome and unnecessary, as they are too far away.”

Jia Yan’s compound eyes widened in surprise.

He had always believed what those science fiction movies depicted about alien invasions or conspiracy theories.

However, now this woman was telling him that aliens had come to Earth long ago, yet they harboured no ambitions of ruling Earth!

That was, of course, surprising!

However, it also made sense after some consideration.

After all, like what she said earlier, there are countless planets like Earth in the vast universe.

The probability of a large-scale battle happening if an extraterrestrial life form arrives on Earth is indeed low.

After all, to a life form capable of space travel, Earth is not particularly unique apart from its life forms.

If they were to rule, they would have to send troops without any clear-cut benefits in return – it was something they wouldn’t do!

This doesn’t mean they do not value interests.

Jia Yan believes that regardless of the form of extraterrestrial life, the mentality of prioritizing interests is a must for evolution into universal life.

Without this, the theory of the birth of intelligent life would be unsustainable!

Therefore, if they also value interests, the distance would not be a problem if Earth has interests that are sufficient to interest them!

Therefore, he had a vague idea about what would follow in the conversation!

“You’re probably aware by now that three civilizations showed little interest in Earth.

However, their reconnaissance ships did leave some machinery behind.

These machines, not particularly valuable to the aliens, burrowed into the ground upon reaching Earth.

Yes, they are the mysterious underground machines you previously encountered!”

Jia Yan was startled, this woman was also aware of his activities on Earth, truly mysterious!

However, the woman seemed to be oblivious of the slight alertness that Jia Yan exhibited.

She continued,”Those machines are nomadic reconnaissance ships that each invariably leave something behind when they reach a planet.

The operational period of these objects is only about three to four hundred years.

Their purpose is to produce mining robots and have them delve into the depths of the planet.”

“The resource that those machines were looking for a special material that they call ‘star-condensed substance’.

Even in the vast universe, this substance is extremely rare!

Only a part of the matter that was extracted from the stars during the early stage of stellar systems could seep into the planets over billions of years and then possibly yield this material.

The alien lifeforms never thought that your planet, Earth, would have such a material.

However, not long after they left, their probing machines on Earth surprisingly discovered this ‘star-condensed substance’!”

“Correct!

Your planet is one that produces such star-condensed substance and a considerable amount at that!”

The woman turned her eyes towards Jia Yan, whose compound eyes flickered dimly.

However, throughout this revelation, Jia Yan appeared indifferent; it looked as if he had no connection to this matter at all!

To Jia Yan, alien life and star-condensed substance are all distant concepts.

He was even half doubtful of what the woman said.

Therefore, there was no sign of agitation in his attitude.

However, since he couldn’t communicate with this woman, he couldn’t voice his doubts.

He could only listen to what the woman was saying.

“You might think that star-condensed substance has nothing to do with you.

Let me take out a portion of this star-condensed substance; you will see how important it is to you.”

The woman shook her head and retrieved a spherical object from a pocket of her ‘robe’ that resembled foam bubbles.

Upon seeing this object, Jia Yan’s compound eyes contracted instantly!

He was all too familiar with this object!

In fact, his own body contained this substance!

Azure Material!!—

On the snow-white fingers of the woman’s hand, which seemed devoid of any blood, she held a radiant crystal that was glowing with a mysterious sheen.

This crystal, under the reflection of Jia Yan’s compound eyes, emitted a strange azure light!

The object closely connected to Jia Yan’s journey was indeed this so-called ‘star-condensed substance’!

“This is the so-called Star-condensed substance!”

Jia Yan looked at the azure material the woman held in her hand, and then a series of events seemed to explode in his mind!

He faintly connected all these events into a single thread.

All things, they are related!

And it is this thing that connects them…

This deep blue crystal!

The original factory came into existence due to the presence of the Underground World, which is how those magical potions came about.

After getting the potion, he also obtained the black original liquid in the factory.

The composition of this liquid, in retrospect, already had a hint of the flavor of the azure material!

Following that, in the Underground World, he obtained the mysterious liquid found in the brains of living creatures, even the azure material that is still functioning in his body!

To the current Jia Yan, the azure material is almost the best thing he has gotten so far in his body!

But those creatures of the Underground World, each so powerful, Jia Yan once thought they had a connection with the Mysterious Machinery.

Even the air extracted by the factory was related to the Mysterious Machinery!

Only at that time, Jia Yan couldn’t figure out what this relation was!

But now he knows!

Those countless pipes of the Mysterious Machinery are nothing but collection tubes!

They are collecting resources from the underground with the help of metal monsters, even the ‘Star-condensed substance’ as the woman put it – some of its scent or something else has leaked into the air, making the creatures and the air possess the characteristics of the azure material!

These characteristics include an ingredient causing creatures to mutate and evolve!

The gleam in Jia Yan’s compound eyes became even brighter!

He understood a lot!

But there were still secrets, still unanswered questions that needed this woman to explain to him!

The Giant Mosquito’s enlightened expression was seen by the woman who looked like an Earth girl, and her face held an inexplicable smile.

The woman took a step to the side.

The shoes she wore seemed to be high heels, making a crisp sound on the metal floor.

“This Star-condensed substance is the variable for the forthcoming events!

You may already have a deep understanding of its effects and magic, so I won’t go deep into it.

As a benefit for living beings, it’s like a miraculous pill.

However, it is also of great importance to technology.

The alien civilization I belong to uses this Star-condensed substance as a fuel additive.

Without it, the spacecraft I serve wouldn’t take off!”

“But as I mentioned before, there are three civilizations with backup plans on Earth World, but there is only one Earth.

So how do things turn out?

That’s right!

War!”

“Regrettably, my civilization didn’t leave much machinery on this planet.

We built only over ten thousand mining robots.

We didn’t expect another civilization to leave behind mining machinery here – as many as a hundred units!

When the war broke out, we discovered that their mining robots numbered up to a million!

Therefore, we were all defeated by that civilization in one fell swoop!”

“The mining robots created by that civilization are what you know as the so-called Metal Monsters!

Their energy source is actually a companion ore of the Star-condensed substance.

This companion ore holds considerable power.

I remember you even used them as bombs, didn’t you?

That’s quite a creative idea!” The woman covered her mouth, chuckling.
