Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 3608  Candidacyʼs Eve

Davis was a bit disheartened that he was not able to see their growth personally, but he hid that inside his heart. After checking Eterna and Celestiaʼs cultivation and bone age, he smiled.

”Well done, Eterna and Celestia. Your improvements in cultivation are extremely praiseworthy.”

”Yes!~”

Eterna and Celestia let their fatherʼs hands go and fist-bumped each other.

Not only did they seem a bit more grown up, they seem to have gotten closer and became more understanding of each other.

Particularly, Celestia no longer seemed tame in his eyes. Or maybe it was because she met him again after a long time that she was overly excited enough to come out of her calm little frame.

”Well, look at them go crazy with excitement upon reuniting with their father.”

”Yes, even though weʼre the ones spending time to train and take care of them, they dare display their disgruntled and displeased expressions towards us while showing their smiles to him.”

Isabella and Shirley complained with unamused expressions.

”Well, of course, theyʼre my cute daughters, so they will only smile at me.”

Davis lifted up Eterna and Celestia, causing them to burst out laughing as they made provoking faces towards their mothers.

”Tell me what gifts you want. Papa wasnʼt there for you when you were training, so Iʼll make it up with other things.”

Davis looked at his two daughters, his expression overflowing with fondness.

”You- donʼt spoil them.”

Isabella reached out her hand, warning him.

”Mother~”

Celestia complained with a cute pout. She waved her hand against her mother as though telling her not to come and fell back to Davis, wrapping her little arms over his neck as though she wouldnʼt be taken away.

”Haha.” Davis chuckled, ”Isabella, Iʼll also give you a gift, so let us enjoy this day.”

”…”

Isabella came to a stop as she placed her hands on her hips and smiled, wondering what he had in store for them.

He said gift, but it could be something else, something she craved after long months of training.

”Good daughters.”

Davis addressed Eterna and Celestia, ”Itʼs fine you two want to be of help to us or simply want to become stronger.”

”However, donʼt rush your cultivation. Rushing it can cause internal problems to appear, and the sequela left from rising quickly could also cause unexpected flaws to appear. Donʼt be careless just because the cultivation manual you two use is almost perfect. Besides, the more time you stay in the time chamber, the easier youʼre going to lose your sense of time and feel disconnected from those around you.”

”Weʼre still children, so itʼs fine!”

Eterna shrugged.

Davis couldnʼt help but smile as her mannerisms was simply a copy of Shirley, even the minute expressions with her lips curling into a faint smile.

He didnʼt think berating her at this age to listen would change her mind.

He hugged the two of them and gestured at Aila, introducing her to them.

Evelynn, Isabella, and Shirley also saw that he had brought Aila here. They didnʼt seem surprised as they seemed to have guessed this wouldʼve happened, but hearing the story of how she abandoned her family, they were surprised.

”Letʼs not rattle Aila anymore. Iʼm sure she has her own thoughts to settle.”

Shirley stopped everyone and smiled, ”Weʼll have a banquet for lunch. I already sent Esvele to take care of the matters. She shouldʼve contacted Jaisi Alstreim to prepare us a sumptuous banquet, so letʼs go.”

They left the hall and arrived at the courtyard, having fun for some time under the fine weather before Jaisi Alstreim appeared with a feast.

The quality of the meat was truly mouthwatering and flavorful with the array of spices.

There was seemingly too much to go around, but the magical beasts were able to clear them out quickly. Everyone had their fill and looked extremely satisfied.

Mira burped in her dragon form and went back to sleep right where she sat.

Katherine Hilltail also went to sleep under a tree. She seemed to have been training with Isabella as she was also an earth-attributed King-Tier Beast. Katherine Hilltail was still an Immortal King Beast.

It was possible that her cultivation didnʼt increase by leaps and bounds because she had always been playing with Eterna and Celestia.

Nadia ate a lot as well, but not much if one would consider her usual appetite. This was due to her pregnancy and the fact that she couldnʼt change back into being a wolf as she carried another life within her.

On the other hand, Freya completely devoured the sumptuous wings of the magical beasts. It seemed to be her favorite.

At the same time, Zahara and Yeyin were here.

They had been training together with Shirley, probably having increased their comprehension of Icefire Laws, perhaps vastly.

Now, they also ate and went to sleep to digest. Only Everlight and Nyoran didnʼt show up, as it was possible the latter was still undergoing her bloodline improvement.

As they enjoyed the banquet, the sun fell into the horizon, and the moon rose up.

Davis excused himself, and Isabella and Shirley excused him.

The night was wild. He introduced Isabella and Shirley to the new technique, enrapturing them with his skills. He didnʼt bother with his pleasure, completely throwing his focus into pleasuring them like even if they would not meet for a long time after this, this fuck should come back to their minds and keep them thinking about him.

That lasted for a whole day inside the time chamber before another beauty showed up.

It was none other than Evelynn.

Isabella and Shirley couldnʼt say no despite knowing that she enjoyed being with him eight days ago or like three-four months ago if one included the time chamber.

Regardless, it was a long time ago, so they invited Evelynn inside, allowing Davis to have the big three all to himself!

It had been a long time since he enjoyed them together, so he turned into a beast and wrecked their sanity.

Nonetheless, they made sure to take contraceptive pills in order to not get pregnant at this time. Getting pregnant would be a cause for celebration any other time than now since they could not risk being weak in the Candidacy, or they would be forced to pull themselves away from the Candidacy. Therefore, they had already taken one even before they stepped out of their training chambers.

Sure enough, they were correct in taking one as their husband splurged loads of yang essence inside them.

[The time for Candidacy has neared. The Candidates who are still willing to participate should head to the Grand Immortal Mountain Peak and arrive before the sun reaches the peak.]

Evelynn, Isabella, Shirley, and many other Candidates received their calling at the start of the ninth day at midnight.

The three of them froze.

Davis had been shaking his hips madly at Shirley and exploded inside her. He was just about to finish before wanting to use another position but then noticed the changes in their expression, making him blink.

”Did you three get any announcements in your heads?”

He asked, causing the three of them to nod.

Davis pursed his lips, numerous thoughts swirling in his head.

The time had come.
