Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 3607  Two Little Spiders

Davis expounded more on the law with Mingzhi to help them understand its intricacies. He spent some time playing with Aurelia, Sheria, and Lucian this way, finally putting Sheria and Lucian to sleep, but Aurelia was highly active, as she was four years old.

Once she had opened up to him, she was as playful as Eterna, giggling all the while.

At this time, he also caught up with everyone else individually, finally feeling like he didnʼt leave any stones unturned until he remembered Yotan and Stella.

Yotan was still in seclusion. He wondered why she had never made a move on him despite the fact that he had relayed his intentions a few times.

Does she not care?

He didnʼt think so as he found her many times staring at him fondly. Then why was she so hesitant?

As for Stella, he wondered if she would come back, considering he had cut ties with Saintess Lunaria. Maybe he should go pay her a visit, but then again, Fairy Wixʼs space was in Saintess Lunariaʼs palace, so he didnʼt know if it was appropriate to visit.

Just as he was thinking of visiting Yotan in her secluded chamber, the big three finally arrived together.

Davisʼs eyes went wide as he saw Eterna and Celestia have their facial features become a bit more refined, their height has also increased a bit. But more shockingly, he saw a year-old Azariel and Viridia in Evelynnʼs arms.

They looked so cute, their cute purplish-green eyes blinking at him while also looking around with curiosity.

”No way…”

Davis was dumbfounded as he walked closer.

”Evelynn, did you even train…?”

He touched her arms, carrying the weight of two souls, wondering how much time she spent taking care of them and how much time she actually spent training.

After all, if Immortal Kings could only experience around twelve times increase in temporal speed, then mortals could experience much more in another temporal formation.

The speed was practically thirty to forty times faster, but of course, only mortals seemed to be capable of entering it.

”I was only practicing skills and occasionally breastfeeding them directly or indirectly using soul body and stored milk. Eterna and Celestia also helped, so it wasnʼt like I didnʼt train. I am more powerful in the same cultivation base right now, but I have managed to enter Level Seven Immortal King Stage naturally from Level Six Immortal King Stage.”

Evelynnʼs voice was prideful, ”Your son and daughter have grown too. Take a look as much as you want, and continue to look after them after I leave tomorrow.”

”…”

Davis was speechless as he got Azariel and Viridia in his arms.

They appeared as though they were going to cry but then, noticed their blood resonate with him, even striking his face with their vicious yet soft spider bone scythes as though checking him out.

”Hehe~ You would be amused to see them rolling around like they are balls after they cover themselves with their spider bones… they learned that first instead of crawling, such lazy children…”

Evelynn joked in a carefree manner.

Davis was still speechless.

He could also sense Eterna and Celestiaʼs cultivation has increased. They seemed a bit more mature now, as though being disciplined by their mothers, Isabella and Shirley, even seemingly knowing what was to come.

He could see such fearsome determination in their eyes, not knowing what kind of training they went through.

He felt like he missed a part of his childrenʼs journey again yet he couldnʼt blame anyone as time and tide waited for none. He understood their motherʼs reasoning of not wanting to leave their child defenseless or unhealthy.

Yet, the sadness of not being able to see them grow up in every stage was still there.

”Wei, wei~”

Viridia reached out her tiny hands and held his cheeks, narrowing her eyes as she pouted and glared at him. She then headed straight and banged her head over his, abruptly opening her third eye.

It twitched a few seconds before it closed, causing Viridia to be tired.

Davis blinked. Did his daughter just try to hex him? However, she had no cultivation, so nothing came out.

On the other hand, Azariel pouted. He carefully stared at Davis, and his blonde hair that was the same as his.

”Thatʼs your father, Azariel.”

Evelynn smiled gently as she patted Azarielʼs head.

Even though Azariel couldnʼt understand, he started to feel closer to this man, laying tiredly on his shoulder like Viridia did, although he was only acting enough to lie low.

”Woah… their sense for danger is off the charts…”

Mingzhi witnessed what she would call wild instincts. These fey children practically knew when to concede since Azariel saw that Viridia couldnʼt beat the man with their measly power.

A human baby wouldʼve tried to reach out to their mother, but these two were practically laying low as though they were planning to strike later or escape.

She sent Davis a soul transmission.

Davis blinked but nodded before he moved back a bit and placed the two children down on the floor.

They stared at him, averting their gazes while looking around. After they saw he didnʼt make any move, their spider bones elongated as they covered them around, shaping them into a ball that allowed them to roll away.

Everyoneʼs jaws dropped as they saw them silently make their way to their mother.

Once they were below Evelynn, they smacked all six of their bones on the floor, allowing them to pounce over their mother.

Evelynn captured them as she smiled, looking proud to be able to showcase the skills of her children who only only reached one year old.

Eterna and Celestia giggled.

It was what they taught them after seeing them roll around.

However, they ran towards Davis, wanting him to take a look at them as well!

They captured his hands, swinging them left and right while smiling brightly as though indicating for him to guess their cultivation.

”You have both entered the Sixth Stage at the mere age of six- no, almost seven?”

Davisʼs lips twitched.

Wasnʼt this too fast?
