Urban Seduction: Housewives Club

Chapter 1148: Chapter 1148: Kindergarten Teacher and Tour Guide

Wang Yuerao had been thinking about this for a while. After being away for thirty years, the once familiar city had become strange to her.

Although she had observed every corner of the city when searching for her good friend Lu Xueqi, that had been a cursory look, and her mood had been different then.

As for why she hadn’t mentioned it earlier, it was because Wang Yuerao still couldn’t fully control her powers. Her senses were too acute, and the outside world was just too noisy for her.

The days spent searching for her friend had already been exhausting, and she naturally didn’t want to go through that again.

Now, with her grandson’s help, she had become an ordinary person, and everything was different.

”Sure,” Liu Yiru agreed without hesitation, then instructed Ye Fei and his sister, ”Xiao Man, Yunqi, did you hear that? After breakfast, take Grandma and the kids out to have some fun.”

Ye Fei couldn’t help but feel a bit bitter. He had just taken the opportunity to seal his grandmother’s cultivation and wanted to spend more intimate time with his women.

Now, he was being assigned to be a kindergarten teacher and tour guide. However, he understood his mother’s intentions: to seize every opportunity to create an impression in front of Grandma that he was a good boy who listened to his mother, so she wouldn’t suspect anything.

Moreover, the women had their things to do during the day and wouldn’t have much chance to be together. So, he agreed readily.

But this meant that the women who didn’t live at home were out of luck. Ye Fei had been planning to sneak out to meet them, but now it seemed impossible.

After breakfast, the women left the villa to attend to their affairs, and Ye Fei accompanied Ye Yunqi to take Grandma and the excited little ones out of the house.

Since Ye Fei and Ye Yunqi were the tour guides, they naturally went to places they were familiar with. However, although the siblings had grown up in this city, they hadn’t been to many places.

In the past, Ye Fei had been so weak that he rarely left home or school. Ye Yunqi, despite her lively personality, wasn’t the type to wander around either.

So, the group drove a medium-sized van and made their first stop at the First High School. The school was empty since it hadn’t started yet, but the security guard recognized Ye Fei and Ye Yunqi, so they were able to get in smoothly.

The school itself wasn’t particularly interesting, but the little ones, who had been living in the valley, were curious about everything outside and still had a great time. Wang Yuerao, on the other hand, truly enjoyed the family bonding, so she was happy wherever they went.

After leaving the school, Ye Fei visited the small courtyard where he and Ye Yunqi used to live. Finally, running out of ideas, he took the group to Disneyland.

The siblings had been here as children with their mother, but Ye Fei’s poor health had prevented them from coming back. Now, reliving the fun of their childhood, Ye Fei and Ye Yunqi immediately joined the little ones in playing, and eventually, even Wang Yuerao got in on the fun.

However, while having fun, Wang Yuerao noticed a few things. First, the security situation in Wanghai had improved dramatically, far better than it had been thirty years ago. She wasn’t naive enough to believe that this was due to improved social morals or diligent law enforcement.

Although Wanghai’s political scene was stronger under Liu Fengyi’s leadership compared to other places, it still wasn’t enough to achieve the current level of security, which was akin to a utopia where people didn’t pick up lost items on the road and doors didn’t need to be locked at night. Since it wasn’t the government’s doing, it had to be the work of another force.

Of course, in public statements, the good order and security in Wanghai were attributed to the government’s efforts, and Ye Fei had no objections, as this was his aunt’s achievement.

Wang Yuerao knew even better that this so-called other force was the Lingyun Society, founded by her late friend Lu Xueqi’s husband. However, the Lingyun Society back then was far from capable of such an achievement.

The current leader who had accomplished this was none other than the carefree young man playing by her side, her grandson.

Moreover, Wang Yuerao observed that everyone they encountered along the way treated them, especially Ye Fei, with great courtesy.

This courtesy was not out of fear but genuine respect, which led her to reassess Ye Fei once again.

Initially, Wang Yuerao had regarded Ye Fei as an equal, but during their time together, he had behaved so childishly—sleeping in, acting coquettish, and being disrespectful—that she gradually changed her perception, thinking that her grandson was just an ordinary teenager, albeit an exceptionally handsome one.

Now, through these observations, she was forced to take Ye Fei seriously once more, which reignited the worries she had last night. Such an outstanding man would be irresistibly attractive to women.

Even she had to admit that if Ye Fei weren’t her grandson and she were decades younger, she might have fallen for him.

By extension, what about the beautiful women in her family? Even though they were closely related to Ye Fei, love could happen in the most unexpected ways.

Ye Fei, of course, had no idea that this casual outing had changed his grandmother’s perception of him again, prompting her to decide to keep an even closer eye on him. However, even if he had known, there was nothing he could do.

As long as they went out, they couldn’t avoid meeting outsiders, and he couldn’t keep his actions a secret forever. He could seal her cultivation, but he couldn’t control her thoughts.

All Ye Fei could do now was to be even more careful. But he had already been very cautious, so knowing or not knowing made little difference.

At noon, they grabbed a quick meal somewhere and planned to visit other places. However, the little ones were so engrossed in the fun that Ye Fei and the others had no choice but to stay with them at the amusement park until nightfall before heading home.

After dinner, Ye Liuer naturally proposed sleeping with her parents again. Although Wang Yuerao no longer regarded Ye Fei as a child, considering that they seemed fine last night and that her daughter was Ye Fei’s biological mother, she thought they were the least likely to engage in any inappropriate behavior in the villa. So, she readily agreed once more.
