Urban Seduction: Housewives Club

Chapter 1108: Chapter 1108: Overflowing Maternal Love

”And who might this young lady be?” After being introduced to Ye Fei and Ye Yunqi, Wang Yueryao turned her attention to Ye Yunying.

Although she had been here for two days, Ye Yunying, unaware of her identity and somewhat intimidated by her formidable presence, had barely interacted with her.

Before Liu Yiru could introduce her, Ye Yunying quickly spoke up: ”Grandma, I’m also your granddaughter, sort of. I wasn’t born to Mom Yiru, but I share the same father with my brother and sister.”

”What do you mean?” Wang Yueryao looked puzzled at Liu Yiru.

”Grandma, Mom, let’s go inside and sit down to talk,” Ye Fei interjected. It was wonderful to have the family reunited, but standing in the courtyard to chat wasn’t ideal.

The women agreed and, as they walked into the living room, Liu Yiru filled her mother in on the situation.

After hearing her daughter’s story, Wang Yueryao sat down and chuckled lightly, ”I never expected you to end up with Lingyun. There’s such a big age gap between you two. I remember when you were little, you always saw him as an older brother.”

”I still see him as an older brother,” Liu Yiru said. She shouldn’t have said that, but she wanted to clarify things. She wanted her son to know that she had only ever loved him, even though he already understood in his heart. She just felt the need to explain.

”It’s like this, after you and Aunt Lu were gone, everyone was worried that the relationship between the Liu and Ye families would fracture, so...” Seeing her mother’s skeptical look, Liu Fengyi quickly steered the conversation back on track.

”I see,” Wang Yueryao nodded gently and sighed softly, ”Xiao Ru, for the sake of the Liu and Ye families, you’ve made such a huge sacrifice. You’ve suffered so much.”

Liu Yiru smiled, ”No, I haven’t suffered. If it weren’t for that sacrifice, how could I have such a wonderful son?” She looked at Ye Fei, her eyes filled with tender affection—she loved him so much that she couldn’t hide it, even in front of her mother.

Liu Yiru’s display immediately raised the concerns of Liu Fengyi and the others, who had just begun to relax. This time, Ye Yunqi was the quickest to react. She pouted and feigned discontent, ”Mom, do you only love your son?”

Liu Yiru reached out and tousled Ye Yunqi’s hair, cooing affectionately, ”I love my son, but I love my daughter just as much. Happy now, you little troublemaker?”

”That’s more like it!” Ye Yunqi’s expression softened, and she hugged her mother’s arm, pressing her stunningly beautiful face against her mother’s even more beautiful one in a playful nuzzle.

It had to be said that both mother and daughter were master performers. Initially, Wang Yueryao had been puzzled by Liu Yiru’s tender gaze, but after seeing the interaction between mother and daughter, her doubts were instantly dispelled, and she simply attributed it to a mother’s love for her son.

Of course, the main reason she let it go so easily was that she hadn’t even considered the possibility that her outstanding daughter could have fallen in love with her son.

After understanding the situation with her second daughter, Wang Yueryao turned to her eldest and youngest daughters, smiling, ”And what about you two? Have you both settled down? When will you bring your children to see me?”

”Mom, I’m still single,” Liu Junyi said, casting a furtive glance at her beloved nephew and adding silently in her heart: I do have a sweetheart, but how could I let you know?

”I’m married, but I don’t have any children yet,” Liu Fengyi replied with a gentle smile, careful not to mention her daughter, as her childlessness was common knowledge in Wanghai. Even if she could deceive her mother now, the truth would come out soon after.

Wang Yueryao, having been in seclusion for thirty years, had very traditional views. Hearing this, she couldn’t help but chide, ”How can that be? You’re thirty-eight this year. Why don’t you have children?”

Liu Fengyi sighed softly, ”I want to, but my man is just too vigorous. Every time I’m about to collapse, he’s still not finished. In the end, I have to let him do it somewhere else, so he ejaculates elsewhere.” As she spoke, she cast a sly glance at Ye Fei.

”Young lady, what are you saying in front of the children?” Wang Yueryao’s face turned red with embarrassment, though she thought to herself, Couldn’t you just let him do it somewhere else and then let him ejaculate inside? But such words couldn’t be spoken in front of her grandchildren, and she had to wait for a private moment with her eldest daughter.

”It’s fine, they’re still young and won’t understand,” Liu Fengyi giggled, taking the opportunity to add, ”Although I haven’t given birth, on this trip, I adopted a very cute girl. And both my second and third sisters have adopted one as well.”

”Adopting a child is good, but it’s best to have one of your own,” Wang Yueryao nodded, placing great importance on the continuation of the bloodline due to her traditional mindset.

Liu Fengyi had no choice but to nod and respond noncommittally, ”I know.”

After being separated for thirty years, Wang Yueryao’s concern for her daughters had reached a peak. After inquiring about her eldest daughter, she began to nag her youngest daughter incessantly: ”And you, Junyi, you’re thirty-one this year. Why aren’t you married yet?”

”Looking, looking,” Liu Junyi replied vaguely.

”Grandma, Aunt Junyi has been working in the military and is now a major general. It’s not easy to find a man she approves of, so don’t push her. Instead, tell us what you’ve been doing all these years and why you never came back to visit,” Ye Yunqi interjected. Her words were quite blunt and somewhat accusatory.

The reason was that Wang Yueryao seemed to want to marry off her aunt, but Aunt Junyi belonged to her brother. If anyone else even thought about it, Ye Yunqi wouldn’t let it slide.

Ye Yunqi’s words struck a sore spot for Wang Yueryao, causing her face to darken and fill with regret as she looked at her three daughters and said softly, ”For the past thirty years, I’ve been in seclusion, and I just broke out of it recently.”

”So you were in seclusion. I thought it was like Shui Ying, who was imprisoned and couldn’t do anything about it,” Ye Yunqi curled her lip in a pout, mocking.

Wang Yueryao, filled with guilt, didn’t mind her granddaughter’s rudeness and asked curiously, ”Who is Shui Ying?”
