Urban Seduction: Housewives Club

Chapter 1113: Chapter 1113: A Lifesaving Call

Liu Yiru felt this way, and naturally, the other women who had stayed in the valley with her for seven years felt the same.

As for Ye Yunying and the girls who hadn’t entered the valley with them, they were also filled with longing. Although they had only been separated from Ye Fei for seven days, it felt like an eternity, and they naturally yearned to be intimate with their beloved man. But now, they had to endure the frustration.

Apart from Ye Fei and his beloved women, another person who couldn’t sleep was Wang Yueryao. However, her insomnia was entirely due to her emotional turmoil.

After being separated for thirty years, she had finally been reunited with her daughters. Even as a super powerhouse, she couldn’t calm the joy and excitement in her heart.

The next morning, the women all looked a bit listless. In reality, with their abilities, they could go days without sleep, but last night had been more than just sleepless—it had been mentally tormenting.

Ye Fei and his sister Ye Yunqi, on the other hand, simply stayed in bed, not getting up until noon.

Ironically, this turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Originally, because of her preconceived notions and Ye Fei’s incredible strength, Wang Yueryao had unconsciously regarded her grandson as an equal, which made her feel less close to Ye Yunqi.

However, Ye Fei’s childlike behavior that day made her feel much more affectionate towards him.

After lunch, the women all left to attend to their affairs. Having lived in the valley for seven years, they were naturally a bit rusty with their work and needed to get reacquainted, especially Liu Fengyi and Liu Junyi, who had significant responsibilities and undoubtedly had many matters to handle.

Wang Yueryao, who had been lonely for thirty years, cherished the feeling of home and thus stayed in the villa without going out. Ye Fei and Ye Yunqi, her beloved grandchildren, stayed with her, accompanied by a group of little ones.

This made Ye Fei quite distressed, and he even blamed himself for having such capable subordinates. Now that the Lingyun Society was running smoothly, managed well by Zhang Yide and Ye Xuan, he couldn’t even find an excuse to go out and secretly be intimate with his mother and the others.

In the evening, everyone gathered again, but they had to continue to endure the agony. Originally, Wang Yueryao’s return was an enormous joy for everyone, especially the Liu sisters. However, now this joy was tinged with such trouble. They could only comfort themselves with the saying, ”There are gains and losses in everything.”

This went on for three days, and Ye Fei felt like he was going to go crazy from the frustration. Fortunately, on the fourth day, a turning point finally arrived.

That noon, after Ye Fei had lunch with his grandmother, younger sister, and the little ones and was about to take his daughters to play in the courtyard, his phone, which had been silent for several days, suddenly rang.

Hearing the ringtone, Ye Fei couldn’t help but feel a surge of energy. He quickly took out his phone and saw that the incoming call was not from a familiar number but a landline.

”Hello, who is this?” Ye Fei asked as he answered the call.

”Boss Ye, you wouldn’t have forgotten your own company’s number, would you?” A deep yet sweet voice came through the phone, with a hint of reproach in its tone.

”So it’s Sister Ying. What’s up?” Ye Fei indeed didn’t remember the company’s phone number, but the voice was deeply etched in his memory. It belonged to the genius director and hidden beauty, Situ Ying, from the film and television company.

Seeing that Ye Fei recognized her voice right away, Situ Ying felt inexplicably delighted. However, her joy was short-lived because the company was facing some trouble.

Without beating around the bush, she got straight to the point, ”There’s been an issue at the company. Can you come over?”

”Sure, I’ll be right there!” Ye Fei immediately replied. For the past few days, he had been hoping for something like this. Although it was problematic to look forward to issues at his own company, these days had been unbearably frustrating. Situ Ying’s words were like music to his ears.

After hanging up, Ye Fei apologetically said to Wang Yueryao, who was playing with the little ones, ”Grandma, there’s been an issue at my film and television company. I need to go and handle it.”

Over these few days, due to Ye Fei’s childlike behavior, Wang Yueryao had grown increasingly fond of him, almost forgetting that he was not only the leader of Lingyun Society but also had several significant companies under his belt.

With her traditional mindset, she firmly believed in the saying ”a man’s ambition lies in distant places” and naturally wouldn’t stop Ye Fei from attending to important matters. She happily nodded and said, ”Go ahead, Ye Fei. You are the only man of the Liu and Ye families. You should prioritize your career. You don’t need to stay at home with Grandma every day.”

Ye Fei then explained the situation to his younger sister and daughters. The little ones were naturally reluctant to let their father leave, but fortunately, the sensible Ye Liuer quickly helped to persuade her younger sisters.

It was Ye Yunqi, however, who pouted in discontent. Her brother was off to have fun with other women, while she had to stay at home. At this moment, she was eagerly looking forward to the start of the school term.

Leaving the villa, Ye Fei drove towards the film and television company. Although what he wanted to do was to go to the Liu Group and be intimate with his mother, he didn’t do so.

Situ Ying, Zhuo Feng’er, and Mu Ling were all very capable women. They could easily handle most issues. The fact that they had reached out to him indicated that this time, the problem was serious.

The film and television company was a mere drop in the bucket for Ye Fei. He didn’t need to pay much attention to it. However, it was the hard work and career of his women, so he took it very seriously.

Half an hour later, Ye Fei arrived at the film and television company and went straight to Situ Ying’s office. In addition to Situ Ying, Zhuo Feng’er, and Mu Ling, Xu Wei’er was also there, and all four women looked quite serious.

Seeing Ye Fei, the four women were all delighted, especially Mu Ling and Zhuo Feng’er, who hadn’t seen their beloved man for over ten days. At that moment, they wished they could immediately throw themselves into his arms and let him spoil them.

However, they didn’t act on this thought because Situ Ying and Xu Wei’er were present, and there was indeed something very important to discuss.

After a brief greeting, Ye Fei got straight to the point without any small talk: ”What’s the problem?”

”It’s about the release of one of our new shows,” Situ Ying said.

”Release? What’s the issue?” Ye Fei asked curiously. With the huge success of ”Skybound,” the film and television company had become well-known in the country.

Any movie produced by the company was eagerly anticipated and pursued by the public. There shouldn’t be any problems in theory.
