Chapter 1239 - Zaglanath’s Futile Search

ʼWhat?ʼ

Ajax was once again surprised to hear Zaglanathʼs words as he asked, ”Did he leave the organization just to take me as your personal disciple?”

”That was just one of the reasons.”

Zaglanath nodded his head as he replied, ”Originally, he was planning to leave the organization for the right time and maybe he felt it was finally the right time to leave after seeing who knows what.”

Zaglanath shrugged as he was still clueless regarding the reason behind why Mostror took Ajax as his personal disciple after so many years.

”I see.”

Ajax felt a little relieved to hear that the old man had other reasons to leave the organization.

”Nevertheless, I hope you donʼt disappoint Uncle Mostror as he has already gone through a lot in the past. If possible, try to achieve the goals he set for you in time and make him happy.”

Zaglanath requested Ajax to finish the tasks set by Mostror in a low voice.

”I will do that.”

Ajax nodded his head and he knew exactly what he had to do.

ʼAs long as I cultivate the ʼBlessed refining techniqueʼ, he will definitely be happy.ʼ

This was the thought in Ajaxʼs mind after hearing to Zaglanathʼs words.

”Okay then. You might be late to pass the barrier. You can leave now.”

After hearing the confirmation from Ajax, Zaglanath felt a little relieved as he nodded his head.

Since the barrier between the two provinces would be opened only for a second, Zaglanath didnʼt want Ajax to miss that. So, he asked Ajax to go.

”I will come back after the contest.”

Ajax also knew what Zaglanath was thinking but Ajax was not worried much about it because he has the ability to pass through the barriers between the provinces.

Nevertheless, Ajax nodded his head and left the cave as he was planning to join others.

ʼI think I should have a little chat with Uncle Mostror after today.ʼ

Looking at the leaving silhouette of Ajax, Zaglanath silently thought in his head along with another thought, ʼThere is still no clue about the human with the divine dragon. I think I should ask Uncle Mostror to help me in the search for that human and make him enter the inheritance ground left by my master.ʼ

Previously, Zaglanath got the information on the human with the divine dragon that was cursed by the bronze demon king.

The curse was not that effective as he was only a low-level demon, it was unable to track from a long distance.

However, what he didnʼt know was that the human he was searching for was right in front of him until a few moments ago.

Nevertheless, Zaglanath was unable to notice it not because it was a low-level curse; instead, the curse was already devoured by the demonic energy in Ajax that was hiding deep within his body.

Unless Ajax uses the demonic form, not even the emperor realm cultivators would find out about it.

…..

ʼWhere is the rendezvous point?ʼ

As for Ajax, he didnʼt know that he was even searched by Zaglanath just like the other demons; however, he was looking to help and protect Ajax from the demons as he didnʼt want a human who was capable of taming a dragon to get killed by the demons.

Instead, he thought about the rendezvous point with the others after coming out of the cave.

ʼDarbaudr, did you meet others?ʼ

Closing his eyes, Ajax silently contacted the barbarian with whom he could communicate from anywhere in the same province as the barbarian.

Before entering the bloodline training grounds, Ajax had already informed Barbarian that he had to meet up with others and inform him about their location.

So that he could go there directly without wasting any time.

ʼYoung master, I met others and they were asking about you. Where are you?ʼ

In the next second, he heard the rough voice in his head.

Darbaudrʼ voice was a little excited as he asked about Ajaxʼs location.

ʼI am in the Cursed wilderness. What about you and others?ʼ

Ajax answered while asking about their location.

ʼWe are currently in the Mercenary guild and we are waiting for you.ʼ

Darbaudrʼ voice continued, ʼSince you are in the Cursed wilderness, we will come to you as the barrier to the other province was exactly on the border of the middle section and the inner section of the cursed wilderness. Just go there and wait for us. I will guide the others to your location using the spirit sense.ʼ

Not only Ajax and Darbaudr could communicate over long distances, but they could also even sense each otherʼs location. So, the barbarian said that he would guide others to the place where Ajax was at the border between the two sections.

The border between the two sections was very big and it would definitely take some time for the others to search for Ajax without Darbaudrʼs help.

ʼOkay. I will leave now.ʼ

Nodding his head, Ajax disconnected the communication with Darbaudr.

ʼSince I am closer to the border between the two sections, should I go and visit Sister Keshe and Princess Daphne.ʼ

A few weeks back, Ajax sent Princess Daphne and the old man Lin to stay in Geronʼs territory that was currently maintained by his brother Ceru. So, he thought of checking on them.

”Swoosh”

With that decision in his mind, Ajax didnʼt waste any time as he went to Geronʼs territory.

Actually, the entire middle section of the cursed wilderness was Geronʼs territory. So, it didnʼt take much time for Ajax to reach the place where Keshe lives.

”Benefactor Ajax, welcome.”

One of the guardians saw Ajax from a distance and welcomed him with a polite smile.

Who doesnʼt know about Benefactor Ajax? Not only did he help save their princess but gave some gifts that allowed a few of the young talented spirit beasts in their territory to re-cultivate into humans.

So, everyone was respectful to Ajax and even bowed to him as he walked to the tree that Keshe lives.
