New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 1208 - Single Slash

The guardian spirit beast that appeared in front of Ajax was none other than a huge wolf with a sharp horn protruding through its skull making the huge wolf very powerful.

The fur of the wolf was ash colour and just from a look, anyone could tell that the huge wolf was very powerful.

ʼRoarʼ

It roared at Ajax continuously, making him frown for a moment; however, he didnʼt care much about it and waited for the old man to announce the start of the challenge.

”According to the rules, if a participant has less than level 5 elite general realm cultivation, then he just needs to break the horn of the Horned wolf king.”

After he summoned the first guardian spirit beast, the horned wolf king, the old man started explaining the rules of the challenge.

”However, if you can kill it, you will get more rewards and benefits. So, try your best in killing the guardian spirit beast. Now, the first challenge of the participant Ajax has officially started.”

As soon as he finished his words, the old man disappeared from his place and settled in the sky to observe the fight between Ajax and the guardian spirit beast.

ʼRoarʼ

Just as the old man disappeared, the Horned wolf king didnʼt stand still; instead, it jumped at Ajax at an incredible speed.

ʼLetʼs see how powerful this so-called guardian spirit beast is.ʼ

Ajax had confidence that he could kill the regular low-level king realm experts without any problem; however, if the Horned wolf king was not a regular spirit beast, then he could only try his best to get the horn.

ʼTeleportʼ

Before the horned wolf kingʼs claws could touch Ajax, he used the ʼTeleportʼ to dodge the attack and without giving any time for the wolf king to make the second attack, Ajax used ʼSpatial bladesʼ.

ʼSlashʼ

ʼSlashʼ

ʼSlashʼ

He used a high number of the essence of nature while using the skills because he was fighting against a king realm spirit beast without his elemental spirit or the contracted spirit beasts.

So, he thought to use his full powers without wasting any time.

All those spatial blades only made slight cuts on the body of the king realm spirit beast, giving Ajax some hope.

ʼLooks like it is a little more powerful than the regular low-level king realm spirit beasts. I think I can go for the kill.ʼ

Even though his powerful spatial blades only made the cuts on the Horned wolf king, Ajax felt he could take down the spirit beast as long as he put the efforts into it.

ʼSlashʼ

ʼAarghʼ

However, before Ajax could use his next attack, the Horned wolf king didnʼt give any time before slashing at Ajax and Ajax was in a position where he was unable to dodge the attack.

So, he tried his best to minimize the fatality of the attack.

ʼCough…looks like you excel in speed.ʼ

Finally, Ajax understood something as he looked at the Horned wolf king which seemed to be laughing in joy at the cut on Ajaxʼs chest.

ʼYour speed and attack power is good. But your defence is very weak…Haha.ʼ

Even though the injury on his chest was a little severe, because of his ʼBasic recoveryʼ ability that Ajax got for becoming a Sacred Astral healer, it was stabilized in no time and the wound was slowly closing in.

ʼThis ability is good.ʼ

Ajax felt he could use this ability to its best only when he was injured; however, from the time he got the skill, Ajax was barely injured.

ʼHuh? His healing speed is good for an elite general brat.ʼ

From the sky, the old man was surprised for a moment when he saw how fast the injury on Ajaxʼs chest healed.

”Letʼs finish this match as I need the bloodline energy.”

According to the owner of these training grounds, it was bloodline energy; however, the system converted into normal bloodline points that could be converted into whatever bloodline points he wanted.

Since he already found the weakness of his opponent, Ajax didnʼt waste any time before teleporting to its back.

”Inheritance sword”

”Grade 5 sword dao.”

Without any hesitation, Ajax swung the heavy sword at the back of the horned wolf king.

Because this attack from combing the inheritance sword and the grade 5 sword dao was so powerful that even the low-level king realm cultivators would not dare to face it head on.

ʼSlashʼ

ʼThudʼ

Just a single slash and Ajax made the powerful-looking first guardian spirit beasts, the Horned wolf king into two.

ʼWhat?ʼ

The old man was shocked to the core when he saw Ajaxʼs simple slash could take down the horned wolf king just lke that.

ʼHow did he learn the grade 5 sword dao at such a young age? Even the youngsters from the greater world struggle to reach grade 4 before the age of 20. He is definitely a monster.ʼ

The old man looked at Ajax as though he was looking at a monster.

ʼShould I directly recruit it? Or should I continue testing him?ʼ

Soon, the old man fell into a dilemma as many thoughts flashed into his head.

ʼAt his current strength, he could directly become the outer members of my organization; however, if he could kill more guardian spirit beasts, his rank might be increased in my organization even more.ʼ

ʼAs the one who found this gem in a normal world in the corner of the cluster, I can be promoted to the vice-captain rank for sure.ʼ

The old man felt that Ajax was the ticket for his rise in his organization; however, whether Ajax could accept his invitation to join his organization or not, the old man didnʼt even bother to think about it.

Because he was very sure that once he explained his origins, even a young man from a greater world would have a hard time in rejecting his invitation, much less a young man from the normal world.

ʼLooks like initial evaluation of him right, I think it will only take around 5 years for him to clear the training grounds. At that time, I will make sure to pay back tenfold to those who looked down on me and abused their power to bully me.ʼ

The old man was having his own plans as he looked forward to seeing Ajaxʼs progress.
