New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 1212 - Swamp Lizard King

Ajax slowly looked at the four guardian spirit beasts around him that were waiting to attack him at any time.

”Young man, I will give you the basic introduction of all four guardians before the challenge officially begins.”

From the sky, Ajax heard the old manʼs words and he got to know the names and their guardian rank from the old man.

Swamp lizard king, the second guardian spirit beast was a humanoid spirit beast three meters in height. Long mouth, sharp teeth, body full of hard scales and a long tail.

Storm wyvern, the third guardian spirit beast flying in the air with a huge wingspan of around 10-12 meters. Overall, it looked just like his twilight. If it was not for its low-level king realm cultivation, it was not worth comparing with Ajaxʼs divine dragon which was yet to become a King realm spirit beast.

Tailed vampire dryad, a humanoid spirit beast that looked like a walking tree with a woman figure. It had a long branch that was similar to a scorpion sting tail.

Finally, Chaos lynx, the fifth guardian spirit beast with the cultivation of mid-level. It was a spirit beast that looked just like a cub with a size of around 10-15 centimeters.

ʼIt is a mid-level king realm spirit beast.ʼ

Ajax was surprised to see that the cub was the strongest spirit beast among the four guardian spirit beasts around him.

”Roar”

ʼThudʼ

Once Ajax got to know the basic info about the four guardian spirit beasts around him, the swamp lizard king was the first to roar at him before rushing towards him.

It was not fast because of its huge body which made the ground shake a little as it moved towards Ajax.

”Inheritance ground, come out.”

With a thought, his inheritance sword appeared in his hands and without any hesitation, Ajax directly activated the grade 5 sword dao before swinging his sword at the incoming swamp lizard king.

Since there were four guardian spirit beasts around him, killing any one of them would reduce his burden and increase his chances of completing the challenge.

ʼSlashʼ

ʼSlashʼ

Just when his inheritance sword was about to slash the Swamp lizard king, Ajax noticed a heavy gust of wind was coming at him.

ʼTeleportʼ

ʼSwooshʼ

Without any hesitation, Ajax disappeared from his place leaving his killing more on the swamp lizard king.

Even though he could have killed the swamp lizard king, in the very next second, Ajax would have died from the heavy gusts of wind. So, Ajax didnʼt regret it.

ʼThey even know how to cooperate with one another.ʼ

Ajax muttered to himself as he finally thought to use his new level 3 bloodline.

ʼAbyssal beast god bloodline, activate.ʼ

Initially, Ajax thought he could try pushing himself without activating the bloodline; however, when he saw the guardian spirit beasts were working together, he knew he could not hold back anymore.

ʼDing,

Level 3 abyssal beast god bloodline is activated.

ʼDing,

The hostʼs battle prowess will be increased by five times for the next one hour.

The moment he activated his bloodline, the air around Ajax started changing as his eyes filled with great excitement.

Because he felt a great power surging inside his body and he was craving for a good fight for the next one hour.

”Letʼs start the show.”

Without wasting any time, Ajax rushed towards the weakest guardian spirit beast, the swamp lizard king, hoping to kill it as soon as possible.

ʼSwooshʼ

ʼSlashʼ

ʼClangʼ

ʼRoarʼ

However, the other spirit beasts were stopping him from landing his full-powered attack on the swamp lizard king.

Even though he landed a couple of attacks on the swamp lizard king, those attacks were not his full powerful attacks. Whatʼs more, the swamp lizard king activated its bestial soul that surrounded it.

ʼA defensive bestial soul? No wonder you are always rushing forward to take my damage while letting others attack me freely.ʼ

Ajax revealed a slight smile as he looked at the formation of the four guardian spirit beasts.

Swamp lizard king acted as a tank taking all the attacks from Ajax, of course, the power of those attacks were lowered by the other guardian spirit beasts.

Storm wyvern and Tailed vampire dryad were attacking Ajax to kill him; however, Ajax was dodging their attacks which in turn made his attacks weaker as he was unable to get a proper footing because of repeated teleportation.

…..

In the sky,

ʼHe is really good. He dodged all the attacks and even made a couple of scratches on the swamp lizard king.ʼ

The old man had mixed emotions like shocked, surprised, excited and even sad because why did the heavens waste so much time for his encounter with Ajax.

ʼAt this rate, as long as he became a King realm cultivator, he would dominate everyone below the emperor realm without much difficulty.ʼ

Soon, the old man controlled his emotions as he thought about Ajaxʼs future which was boundless.

ʼI need to prepare a good item in case he rejects my offer. I need to ask the leader of that item.ʼ

The old man took out a scroll and wrote something on it with his spirit energy. In the next seconds, the words on the scroll disappeared without a trace as he silently kept the scroll back into his space ring.

ʼYoung man, as long as you can kill at least one guardian spirit beast, I will give the reward I promised to give.ʼ

Earlier, the old man said he would give an additional reward if he won the challenge against the four guardian spirit beasts; however, deep down, he knew it was impossible for Ajax to kill all four guardian spirit beasts at once.

Nevertheless, he decided to give that promised additional reward if Ajax killed at least one guardian spirit beast.

ʼYoung man, please donʼt disappoint me and use all your trump cards.ʼ

The only reason why the old man made this deal with Ajax was to see what kind of skills and abilities that Ajax was hiding in him.. So, he was watching with an interesting look on his face.
