New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 1227 - Sacrificing The Cultivation Technique

In the bloodline training grounds, elemental spirits and the contracted spirit beasts canʼt be summoned.

Earlier, he asked his master Mostror that since he became his disciple, can he summon his elemental spirits and the contracted spirit beasts? Of course, he was not going to summon all of them as it would shock Mostror for sure and he didnʼt want to reveal his summons until he completely knew about his master.

The answer he got was ʼNo. In these training grounds, it is impossible to summon them. The reason why it canʼt be done was that it was created for the sole purpose of increasing the bloodline of a cultivator but not his elemental spirits or the contracted spirit beasts.ʼ

ʼSigh…they would have enjoyed the 10x boost in the time speed.ʼ

Ajax sighed as he shook his head because if his elemental spirits could use the time speed to condense the elemental essence, he would have a lot of them to sacrifice.

ʼDing,

Do you want to link the time speed of the inner world with that of the bloodline training grounds?

All of a sudden, a system notification appeared in his head that made Ajax shocked for a moment before being pleasantly surprised.

ʼWhat? It can be adjusted like that?ʼ

With a face full of smiles he didnʼt wait for the systemʼs reply as he directly agreed to link the time speed.

ʼDing,

The inner worldʼs time is synchronized with the time that the hostʼs body experiences.

ʼThatʼs it? Excellent.ʼ

The process was simple as he felt great after the inner worldʼs time was synchronized with the bloodline training groundsʼ time.

ʼSince the first two requirements are taken care of, letʼs see the third requirement.ʼ

Even though he had already fulfilled the first two requirements, Ajax wanted to awaken good special effects when he learned the ʼBlessed refining techniqueʼ.

So, he was sacrificing as much as possible for the requirements that were easy to get for him.

Nevertheless, after settling the first two requirements, he checked the third requirement.

ʼDing,

3) Circulate the crude version of the ʼBlessed refining techniqueʼ at least thrice in an actual fight for ten times.

ʼI think I have to wait until I go out of the bloodline training grounds to fulfil their requirements…wait a second. Will fighting the spirit beasts in the training grounds count?ʼ

To fulfil this requirement, he had to fight an opponent; however, during the fight, he had to circulate the cultivation technique ʼBlessed refining techniqueʼ; however, it was just a crude version.

According to the knowledge he received from his master Mostror regarding the ʼBlessed refining techniqueʼ, there was a crude version of how to circulate it; however, each cultivatorʼs constitution is different, to begin with.

So, even if he circulated a cultivation technique from a genius who already mastered it to a high level, other than wasting his time, he would not receive a single benefit.

ʼHowever, since the system is asking me to circulate the crude version, I will just do as it says and fulfil the requirements.ʼ

Nevertheless, there was no harm in circulating the crude version other than wasting time. So, Ajax didnʼt have any problems in fulfilling that requirement.

ʼAnyway, I will fight more spirit beasts after settling the other requirements and the bloodline points as I already have a lot of them.ʼ

However, Ajax didnʼt rush out to test whether fighting the spirit beasts in the bloodline training grounds count to his requirement because he still has a lot of bloodline points to use.

Moreover, from now on, he would get twice the amount of normal bloodline points compared to before. So, it would be a waste to not use such a good opportunity.

ʼFourth and fifth requirements require me to sacrifice my skill and a cultivation technique; however, I have limited skills and it was even more terrible for my cultivation techniques.ʼ

Next, Ajax glanced at the fourth and fight requirements and shook his head with a bitter smile on his face.

ʼShow me all my skills and cultivation techniques separately.ʼ

Nevertheless, since he had to sacrifice something in order to receive bigger benefits, Ajax asked the system to show him the list of skills and cultivation techniques.

ʼDing,

Cultivation techniques:- Heaven and earth refining technique, Mysterious spirit cultivation technique, Lightning cloud steps and Mountain splitting sword technique.

ʼDing,

Skills:- Advanced spatial blades, Demon claw, shadow clone, Dimensional shackles, Countdown, Emergency ghost.

Soon, the system opened two windows in front of him for both skills and the cultivation techniques separately.

ʼSigh…only four cultivation techniques and six skills. Very few.ʼ

Looking at the two holographic screens, Ajax could not help but sigh and started checking which skills and cultivation techniques he should sacrifice.

ʼMysterious spirit cultivation technique and Lightning cloud steps are out of the equation as they are very useful for me compared to others.ʼ

Ajax directly removed the thought of removing those two cultivation techniques without any hesitation.

Mysterious spirit cultivation technique would give him an additional increment in the capacity of the spirit consciousness whenever he made a breakthrough in his cultivation along with the ability to steal 10 percent of his enemiesʼ spirit consciousness whom he killed with his own hands.

As for the Lightning cloud steps, it gives him a good speed boost along with the ability to teleport short distances.

ʼEven if the special effects I receive from cultivating Blessed refining technique might be good or even better than these cultivation techniques; however, I donʼt want to take? that risk when these cultivation techniques are already very useful to him.ʼ

Ajax might seem like a greedy cultivator on the surface; however, he matured a lot during the past year and knew ʼIt is better to have a bird in hand than two birds in a bushʼ.

ʼNow, among the remaining two, I can sacrifice the Heaven and earth refining technique as I can learn the Blessed refining technique that can act as the main cultivation technique.ʼ

Ajax looked at the two other cultivation techniques and decided on which cultivation technique he had to sacrifice.
