The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 2629: Chapter 2629: Turmoil at the Plum Blossom Banquet (Part 3-1)

”But isn’t it supposed to be first come, first served?” Xiaoyun frowned, ”Everyone is lining up, why should we give way to you? If you wanted to be earlier, you should have left sooner.”

”Why so much nonsense? If you know what’s good for you, back off quickly.” Ban Qin snorted coldly.

”And what if we don’t back off?” A stern look crossed Xiaoyun’s face.

”Just try it!” Ban Qin glared, ”Do you even know your status? Is this a place for someone as lowly as you?” She glanced at the ordinary carriage.

”You speak as if you’re so noble.” Xiaoyun scoffed.

”You...”

At that moment, a carriage in front started moving forward, leaving a space for Ye Zhou to drive the carriage ahead.

Unexpectedly, the little girl suddenly rushed in front of the carriage, glaring at Ye Zhou: ”Back up quickly.”

Ye Zhou was startled and hastily pulled the reins: ”Are you crazy?”

Just then, several more carriages arrived from behind, and everyone was watching this farcical scene, pointing and whispering.

”I told you to back up.” The girl glared triumphantly, betting that he wouldn’t dare hit her.

”Move aside!” Ye Zhou’s face turned stern.

Inside the carriage, Erni anxiously tugged Yang Ruxin’s hand.

Yang Ruxin simply smiled and shook her head; she wanted to see how her subordinates would handle such situations. If they were too timid, she wouldn’t bring them next time.

Ye Zhou naturally couldn’t run her over, and Xiaoyun didn’t let him do that either. The little girl advanced a step, grabbed Ban Qin, and forcefully dragged her aside, then beckoned Ye Zhou to move forward.

Since arriving at the Yang Family, well-fed, well-accommodated, and in high spirits, Xiaoyun was no longer the frail figure she had been at the Qian Family. Besides, she practiced martial arts regularly, easily handling Ban Qin, who was weak and defenseless.

Ye Zhou’s lips curled slightly; everyone under Madam Ruyi was tough and capable, a refreshing feeling. He eagerly drove the carriage forward to occupy a slot.

It was winter, and it had snowed recently. Although the snow had melted for a few days and the road was somewhat cleared, there were still shadowy areas with muddy patches from melting snow. Xiaoyun directly tossed the girl into such a spot.

Ban Qin, eager to attend the banquet with her mistress, had donned a goose-yellow jacket, now stained with mud from her face to her body, a pitiful sight indeed.

Suddenly, soft laughter bubbled around.

Inside the carriage, Erni felt a bit tense and looked towards Yang Ruxin.

Yang Ruxin smiled: ”Xiaoyun is quite good, capable of firmness and softness. With her accompanying Xuexue, I feel reassured.”

Erni scratched her head: ”I’m still a bit weak, but I’ll strive to become tougher.” In her view, backing off a step earlier was nothing, just a matter of order. Yet she understood that conceding once might lead to conceding always, which would be beneath Madam Ruyi’s dignity.

”You’re already doing well.” Yang Ruxin smiled warmly.

By now, the carriage had reached the entrance, and Ye Zhou put down the footstool and opened the door.

However, before Yang Ruxin could alight, a girl dashed over angrily from behind, brandishing a whip, and lashed towards Xiaoyun: ”Was it you who hit my servant? You should respect the owner when hitting the dog; you’re courting death!”
