The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 1138: Chapter 1138: Off Topic (9)

In the private room on the second floor of the shop, Gu Qingheng watched Tian Geng’s figure outside, ”He wants to win you over? Why not use his plan against him?”

Yang Ruxin smiled, ”He won’t give up. I’ve severed ties with the old residence. If I let him win me over too easily, it would make the fox wary...” Her eyes narrowed slightly, ”Don’t worry, he’ll come to find me.” Even if he didn’t come, she would give him an excuse to seek her out.

The business on the first day of the grocery shop’s opening was very good. At this rate, the goods brought back would probably only last through the New Year.

”Sister, how do I feel like any business you do is so easy?” Yu Qingge said with a face full of gloom, ”I find it so hard to even manage an inn...”

”You manage the Tongmen Inn quite well...”

”That’s all Dongbo’s doing...” Yu Qingge sighed, ”I don’t dare to put my ideas into practice...”

”You’re just not cut out for business.” Fang Tianze made a face at Yu Qingge, ”With that brain of yours, you’d help count the money if someone sold you... What good ideas could you possibly have?”

”You’re the one without a brain...” Yu Qingge bristled, ”My sister’s ideas would scare you to death... I’m telling you, you’d be no good at business either...”

”Ruxin entrusted me fully with her herbal tea business, just wait and see, it will definitely make money...” Fang Tianze said with a face full of pride.

”Just wait!” Yu Qingge pouted, ”Don’t come crying to my sister when you end up losing even your underwear...”

”You... you...” Fang Tianze’s face turned red instantly, how could this girl not watch her words at all?

”What about me?” Yu Qingge put her hands on her hips, ”Did I hit the nail on the head? Or do you not wear underwear at all?”

”It’s you who doesn’t wear underwear, you...” Fang Tianze’s face got even redder.

”Wow, you even know I don’t wear underwear?” Yu Qingge suddenly exclaimed, ”Fang Tianze, you’re not peeping at me, are you?”

”I’m not... you’re just shameless...”

”How would you know I don’t wear underwear if you don’t peep? Aiyo, you must be coveting sister’s beauty...”

Yang Ruxin couldn’t help but roll her eyes speechlessly, one couldn’t hold a conversation with these two, it would get completely derailed in no time. Forget it, it’s more reliable to discuss with Gu Qingheng.

”Can we use the people from your escort agency?” Yang Ruxin walked over to Gu Qingheng, knowing they needed to replenish their goods promptly, but even if the transport teams were sent out, it would still take months to return, so they needed to organize additional teams.

Gu Qingheng nodded, ”The token is with you, they will follow your orders.”

”I want them to go trade for goods...” Yang Ruxin’s ears perked up at the idea, ”to Jiaozhou, to trade for items like shells...” Jiaozhou is the coastal region of Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Fujian in later times, with sea ports, and there are merchant ships that go out to sea. Glass and such are transported from there, and the goods are very rich.

”There used to be north-south trade before, but because of bandits on the roads and pirates on the waterways, a robbery could spell disaster. So later on, no private businesses engaged in such trade. Even the goods on the sea transport ships were controlled by the government’s grain transport system. The transported goods were usually prearranged, and once they reached a certain place, they’d be divvied up by local magnates and wouldn’t be sold on the market...”
