The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 1106: Chapter 1106: I Am Human (1)

Just as she was thinking, a hawk’s cry came from the sky, and then Heihei swooped down.

Yang Ruxin hurriedly took a note from its claws: ”Need to delay a few more days, do not fret, missing you!”

Yang Ruxin then sent back a note telling it to be careful, and let Heihei go.

”Could there really be demons?” Yang Ruxin couldn’t help but talk to herself while looking at the note, ”Not willing to come back?”

”Haha...” Suddenly, Sanni’s laughter came from beside her.

”Why are you laughing so creepily?” Yang Ruxin gave the girl a disdainful glance.

”Big sister, so you can worry and overthink, too?” Sanni sighed somewhat helplessly, ”I thought it was only us who did that?”

Erni, Sini, and the others also joined in the laughter.

”Little girl, I’m human, not a god,” Yang Ruxin said with an amused cry, ”Being human, one naturally has emotions and desires, is prone to wild thoughts, and besides, your brother-in-law has a face that attracts women like bees to honey. How could I not worry?”

”Actually, in our eyes, you’re like a god,” Sanni said, eyes full of admiration.

The rest nodded in agreement.

”Silly kids, if I were really a god, I would have ascended to the heavens...” Yang Ruxin laughed wryly, ”You’re still young. When you truly fall in love, you’ll understand...”

Several of them blushed.

”There’s nothing to be embarrassed about. As they say, opposites attract; so men and women are drawn to each other. For instance, if someone finds another’s appearance or demeanor to be appealing, they may want to get closer to them, but that’s just the start. Deciding whether you’re suited for a lifelong partnership happens as you interact and date,” Yang Ruxin explained with a smile, calling the youngsters to gather around her, ”’Boys grow to wed and girls grow to marry’—you’ll all eventually take this step, including Xiaoyun and Du Man...”

Their expressions softened.

”Although this era emphasizes parental orders and matchmaker’s words, prioritizing a woman’s ’Three Obediences and Four Virtues,’ just remember, all those old rules are useless with me. As long as you conduct yourselves with dignity and sincerity, as long as I live and as long as I can help it, I won’t allow you to marry blindly... This includes Du Man. Even though you are in servitude now, if you do well, I’ll secure a good future for each of you...”

They all nodded.

”If you really like someone, you should get to know them. Don’t just listen to what they say, watch what they do. For example, if two men both say they like you, and one day you fall ill, one might fret endlessly, scolding you for being careless and not taking care of yourself, then tell you to see a doctor and take medicine, while the other might not say much, but as soon as he hears you’re sick, he immediately fetches a doctor, buys medicine, and even prepares and brings it to your lips—afterward, he puts a piece of preserved fruit in your mouth...”

”The second one is better,” Sanni immediately exclaimed.

”Or, for instance, one man says you’re beautiful and that you look best in a silk dress, but another insists you wear a padded jacket, because it’s still cold and he doesn’t want you to catch a chill...”

The girls began to ponder thoughtfully.

”So, you see, love is also a kind of science.” Yang Ruxin picked up Little Yezi and placed her on her lap, ”Once you like someone, it’s natural to be anxious and suspicious, but you need to learn to regulate your emotions. That’s called emotional self-control. If you go too far, you might lose yourself completely...”
