The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 1109: Chapter 1109: Talking Business (4)

Erni was dumbfounded when she heard this. She had just realized that her elder sister didn’t arbitrarily set prices for the business and products, that there was so much knowledge involved. It seemed she still had a lot to learn.

”Then elder sister, how much profit should we add?” Sanni couldn’t help but ask.

”These items are absolutely unique, but they can’t be unique forever. They might be copied within three months to a year. However, we needn’t worry. We can continuously release new products, so that we can constantly refresh and dominate the market. If we partner with Longfeng Embroidery Village, we’ll be taking the high-end route. We not only need to be meticulous with the materials, but the craftsmanship also has to pass muster, so the prices can’t be too low...”

”Elder sister, what if we leave our items at Longfeng Embroidery Village on consignment, we set the price, and after selling, they take a commission?” Sanni suddenly smacked her lips, ”That way, they don’t have to bear the risk, and we can earn more silver...”

”You’re quick on the uptake,” Yang Ruxin said with a smile.

Erni sighed—her business skills still left something to be desired, but she was determined to study hard and improve.

Wei Yao came over rather quickly with her father, Wei Bingcen.

”Sorry to intrude, Miss Yang. Such presumption on my part,” Wei Bingcen, although a son born out of wedlock, was well-read and seemed very cultivated. Seeing Ruxin’s resigned expression, he said, ”But this girl... I’ve spoiled her...”

”I’ve hit it off with Yaoyao. No need for formalities, Mr. Wei...” Yang Ruxin led them into the reception room.

”Dad, you haven’t seen those products; they are really amazing...” Wei Yao couldn’t wait, ”If someone else snatches them up, I’d really cry to death...”

”You girl...” Wei Bingcen looked at his daughter helplessly.

Wei Yao just stuck out her tongue and made a face.

At that moment, Erni and Sanni came in with several dolls and bags they’d just made.

”These...” Wei Bingcen considered himself someone who’d seen many fine items, like double-sided embroidery and such, but he had never seen such strange yet joy-inducing items. As a businessman, he immediately saw their value. If sold to the great families in the Prefectural City or Beijing, their young ladies would surely cling to them.

Yang Ruxin didn’t speak but watched Erni and Sanni.

Erni took a deep breath and placed the items on the table but didn’t know how to start.

Sanni might not be skilled in needlework, but she was sharp when it came to business, ”Mr. Wei, if these items were to be in cooperation with Longfeng Embroidery Store, what do you think...”

”No problem.” Wei Bingcen intended to play it cool but couldn’t restrain himself, then felt a bit embarrassed as he rubbed his hands together.

”Ah, Dad, drop the pretense you use when negotiating with others,” Wei Yao bluntly took her father down a peg, ”Let’s just talk frankly.”

”Hehe...” Wei Bingcen glared at his daughter, ”You’ve got no regard for your father’s face.”

Wei Yao made another face.

Everyone laughed and the atmosphere relaxed.

Yang Ruxin didn’t speak, and although Erni knew what was going on, she wasn’t articulate, so Sanni did the negotiating. It was naive but ultimately a step forward. After signing the contract, Sanni was dreamy, ”Elder sister, I really can do this...” She was able to negotiate business on her own.
