The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 1120: Chapter 1120: Save My Grandson (6)

The old man lived in a village about five or six miles away from the town; at this time, the market had not yet started, so there weren’t many people leaving the village.

”Grandpa, those two brothers don’t seem like bad people.” Ten-year-old Ge Dan was very sensible, helping to pull the cart whenever his grandfather pushed it.

”Dandan, now bad people don’t write ’bad person’ on their faces, do they?” Ge Lao Han sighed, ”Ermao from next door was taken away by someone, wasn’t he? He still hasn’t come back, and we don’t even know... Ah... Dandan, remember, in the future, you must stay away from strangers. Grandpa only has you as family...”

”Don’t worry, Grandpa, I definitely won’t run off...” Ge Dan nodded, ”I understand, when I grow up, I’ll take good care of Grandpa...”

Comforted, Ge Lao Han smiled, and the two of them started down the main road towards a side path. If they passed through the small woods ahead, they would reach the village.

But just then, two fast horses came galloping from behind.

Hearing the sound of horse hooves, the grandfather and grandson quickly moved their cart to the side of the road. The road was narrow, and they thought to wait for the horses to pass before moving on, but the riders stopped when they reached them. The two burly men looked at Ge Dan, and after sizing him up, exchanged a glance and a nod, then suddenly grabbed the little boy.

Ge Dan cried out, but was knocked unconscious with a slap and lay limp on the back of a horse.

”What are you doing?” Ge Lao Han panicked, rushing to get his grandson back, ”Put down my grandson...”

”Die, old fool.” One of the men kicked Ge Lao Han, sending him flying, then turned the horses around and fled.

”Help... Help...” Ge Lao Han, nearly out of breath from the kick, still managed to struggle to his feet and shout for help.

”What happened, elder?” Gu Qingheng and Gu Yao quickly heard the cries for help and ran over.

”My grandson, my grandson...” The old man had blood spilling from the corner of his mouth, ”Dandan...”

Gu Yao quickly mounted his horse, chasing after the two men.

Gu Qingheng gave a loud whistle, and the usually bored Xiaohei, hearing it, perked up and swooped down with a cry when he saw Gu Qingheng’s hand signals, dashing forward towards them.

Heihei, not understanding Gu Qingheng’s intentions but knowing to follow his master, also screeched and rushed forward after Xiaohei.

Gu Qingheng looked at the old man and slipped a Medicine Pill in his mouth, ”Can you manage on your own?” He was quite skilled in Medical Skills, having dealt with sickness for a long time, and he knew the old man was injured but it wasn’t fatal.

”I’m fine...” the old man shook his head, ”I beg you, save my grandson... I’ll kowtow to you...”

”Then wait for me, I will definitely bring your grandson back...” Gu Qingheng said, whistling again. Soon enough, Zhui Feng came rushing over and Gu Qingheng leapt up onto its back, following suit in the chase.

Only, he had somewhat overestimated the kidnappers’ abilities.

Zhui Feng was fast, catching up to the men in the blink of an eye, but what he saw was Gu Yao holding the unconscious boy in his arms, with only two horses on the ground and the kidnappers nowhere in sight...

”Ah... bone... smash...” Came two eagle cries from the sky above.

Gu Qingheng looked up to see Xiaohei and his mate each clutching a person, performing acrobatics high in the air, one moment soaring high and the next swooping low.
