The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 1076: Chapter 1076: Please Have Mercy (4)

The back hill of Qinglian Temple was covered entirely with bamboo, which extended down to the foot of the mountain, and beyond, fields and a small river meandered their way through the landscape.

The two of them strolled slowly, undisturbed, savoring the rare time alone together.

However, they hadn’t walked far when they heard footsteps approaching.

Gu Qingheng glanced at Yang Ruxin, then suddenly wrapped his arm around her waist and leapt to the top of a nearby large tree. Although there were not many leaves, the branches were tangled enough to make them difficult to spot.

Soon, someone came running down below.

Yang Ruxin furrowed her brows—it was that man who dressed as a woman during the horse scare, wasn’t it? This time, though, he had changed into women’s clothes and looked quite the fair lady.

The young lady paced back and forth on the road, apparently waiting for someone.

It wasn’t long before the door of a nearby bamboo house opened, and a man dressed in black emerged, while the young lady pretended to hurry on her way, then suddenly bumped into the man...

Yang Ruxin was dumbfounded by the sight; it was so blatantly obvious, this young lady... she could only say her courage was commendable.

Unfortunately, Peng Mingrong had greatly underestimated the other’s indifference. Before she even made contact, she was sent flying again, crashing into a tree with a thump, then tumbling to the ground. The young lady spat out blood with a puff and fainted.

Song San originally had no interest in interfering, but after glancing toward the tree where Yang Ruxin was hiding, he instructed the one called Re Bai behind him, ”Notify her family, and while you’re at it, mention that if there’s a next time, they should prepare a coffin.”

Re Bai disappeared with a whoosh.

Before long, Peng Mingzi and Zhen Xiaofeng came running anxiously. Seeing Peng Mingrong fainted, their faces turned pale.

However, Peng Mingzi quickly regained her composure, urgently ordered the old maid who followed to carry the person away and to summon a doctor, then she glanced at Song San, ”Sir, my sister merely adores you, was it necessary to be so harsh?”

”Really?” Song San’s eyes narrowed slightly, ”With that logic, should I have sent her straight to King Yama instead?”

”You...” Peng Mingzi’s beautiful eyes filled with anger, ”you are just too...” But before she could finish, someone had seized her by the throat, and she couldn’t utter another word.

”No one dares to question me,” Song San’s eyes flashed with murderous intent. ”Were it not for this being a Buddhist sanctuary, how could it be your place to point fingers and give orders?”

”Please spare us,” Zhen Xiaofeng pleaded, terrified, yet unable to ignore the situation, ”My youngest sister is young and foolish, and my elder sister is simply pained by her suffering. Sir, I beg of you...” But just as she was speaking, she was flung away.

Yang Ruxin sighed; Peng Mingzi was a good person, and she couldn’t stand to watch her die. She poked Gu Qingheng lightly.

Gu Qingheng immediately jumped down and, with a wave of his hand, sent out a palm strike that neutralized Song San’s force. Zhen Xiaofeng managed to land safely, though her legs gave way from fright and she ended up sitting on the ground, narrowly escaping death...

”Does Young Master Song plan to deal lethal blows to every woman that fancies you?” Yang Ruxin also jumped down.

Peng Mingzi hadn’t expected to see Yang Ruxin; despite her face being red from being choked, her eyes lit up.

”I thought you might enjoy watching the scene unfold,” Song San said, his lips curving into a smirk as he offered Yang Ruxin a charming smile.
