The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 179: Chapter 179: Let’s Split Evenly (Three More)_1

”Alright,” Yang Ruxin rolled her eyes instantly but then turned serious, ”I want you to come up with me to bring down the Black Bear, then we’ll sell it and split the silver.”

Gu Yao frowned at Yang Ruxin: ”You still want to go up?”

”Not earning money is stupid,” Yang Ruxin slightly raised her eyebrows.

”Fine,” Gu Yao nodded speechlessly. If he said he wouldn’t go, he’d probably become a fool in her eyes in the future.

”Then let’s hurry up; the Black Bear’s paws, gallbladder, and hide are all valuable goods...” Yang Ruxin, fearing he might change his mind, grabbed his arm and started walking upwards, ”I need money, badly need it. I guess your family needs it too. Of course, even if your family is rich but just hiding it, who could dislike money, right?”

Gu Yao quickly withdrew his arm. How could she pull and drag like this?

Yang Ruxin turned around in surprise, only to see Gu Yao looking at her with a strange expression. She couldn’t help but touch her nose: ”Why are you just staring at me? I know I’m pretty, but I’m not interested in you...” Now, for her, not even Little Yaozi’s big brother could compete with that Black Bear in her heart. Okay, she admitted she was greedy for money, but there was no helping it; money might not be everything, but without money, absolutely everything is a nonstarter.

Gu Yao’s mouth twitched: ”How can you be so shameless?” His face reddened involuntarily. He’d never been interested in her, okay? He was only polite because of his brother’s interest in her, but why couldn’t she watch her words? That was unacceptable. In the future, he’d have to warn his brother to have a serious talk with her.

”Enough, let’s not quibble over this.” Yang Ruxin waved her hand, ”Can’t you, a big man, make a quick decision? In this hot weather, if we delay any longer, the meat will spoil and might attract other predators... Then you’ll have nowhere to cry if you regret it.”

”I didn’t say I wouldn’t go, you’re right, my family needs the money too, but do you even know how much a Black Bear is worth?” Gu Yao looked at Yang Ruxin, ”Just saying we should split it equally?”

”Who cares how much it’s worth? Without you, it’s worth nothing. If I go down the mountain to find someone else and come back up, the meat might have already been eaten by other beasts,” Yang Ruxin waved her hand, realizing that’s what he was considering, ”So, I said we’d split it, and we’ll split it. Let’s not dawdle...” She paused for a moment, ”Actually, working with you makes more sense since you’ve been hunting in the mountains for the past two years. No one would doubt you if you brought down a bear. But for me, even if I find someone else to help... I might have a hard time explaining it. So, I’m actually leveraging your influence; you don’t need to feel like you’re taking advantage of me.”

Gu Yao had also thought of this, and knew there was no time to argue. At worst, he’d just take more care of their family later on. Then he nodded: ”Alright, let’s go now.”

Gu Yao was skilled in martial arts, and although Yang Ruxin was slightly lacking in physical strength, she was extremely excited at the moment, finally about to get her hands on some silver. She felt full of energy and wasn’t much slower, so the two quickly climbed over the hillside of the shallow mountain and entered the deeper regions.

”It’s over there.” While Gu Yao was scanning the surroundings, Yang Ruxin secretly moved a bear from her storage space and placed it in the bushes nearby.
