Urban Divine Doctor Descends the Mountain

Chapter 1165: Chapter 1164: Hard to Tell the Winner

”Actually, it ended in a tie!”

This was unexpected to everyone.

Everyone thought that this time, the acupuncture competition could determine a winner!

Moreover, everyone felt that Lin Dong had a greater chance of losing.

Because luck was not on his side.

Him, Lin Dong, having such a complicated patient, made everyone think he would lose.

But who could have thought that even under such circumstances, it actually ended in a tie.

Eastern Medicine supporters, including Company President Lee, raised their hands to question: ”Referee, could there be a mistake? In Traditional Chinese Medicine, there was that extremely complicated patient. She was afflicted with eight different diseases, incorporating ailments related to surgery, internal medicine, gynecology, all in one body!”

”He only performed acupuncture on her for about three minutes previously, I seriously doubt that patient has been cured at all!”

The referee did not waste words and directly brought out the inspection report for all to see:

”Everyone can take a look at the results of this report!”

On the Eastern Medicine side, including Company President Lee, and on the Western Medicine side, Purton, Doctor Alice, and other doctors, all looked towards the report.

Upon seeing it, they indeed found that the report indicated, the patient was normal!

”How... how is this possible!” Company President Lee’s face turned sour; he realized he had truly underestimated Traditional Chinese Medicine, underestimated this young Leader of the Southern Faction.

Now, he was somewhat concerned about their Lee Family’s Acupuncture Bronze Man!

Purton was also shocked. At that moment, he turned his head and said to Doctor Alice and Doctor Thomas:

”Doctor Alice, Doctor Thomas, I’ve decided. Regardless of whether Traditional Chinese Medicine wins or not, I’ve decided to propose the establishment and promotion of a Chinese Medical Hall in our Yingjiang Country!”

”The acupuncture technique of this Leader of the Southern Faction, Dr. Lin, is simply too miraculous! Of course, I have a requirement, which is to have Dr. Lin serve as the ambassador of all medical pavilions!”

”At the same time, as the honorary director of all the Chinese Medical Halls. He must at least come to the medical pavilion to lecture three times a month and pass on this miraculous acupuncture technique to us...”

Seeing this, Doctor Alice and Doctor Thomas both fell silent for a moment.

Doctor Alice couldn’t help but laughingly said, ”Doctor Purton, these details, after the competition concludes, let’s discuss them with Divine Doctor Lin.”

”Also, I feel that we should lower our stance. We should not use words like ’must’ to make demands of Divine Doctor Lin.”

”After all, we are learners...”

Purton frowned slightly but didn’t say much more.

The competition hadn’t ended at that point; discussing these matters seemed a bit premature.

The Dragon Country Live Broadcast Room was completely boiling over at this moment!

Everyone breathed a huge sigh of relief.

”That scared me; I thought our Divine Doctor Lin was going to lose!”

”Divine Doctor Lin is awesome, even when Lady Luck sided with Eastern Medicine, he managed to draw the competition with his strength and dragged it to the next medical fight!”

”Actually, by rights, we in Traditional Chinese Medicine won!”

”Indeed, if there were similar patients without that complicated one, Great Divine Doctor Lin would have cured two more patients. In that case, we would’ve won over Jin Yuan by quantity!”

”But sometimes luck is also a kind of strength...”

”...”

Although by that logic, Lin Dong was slightly ahead, according to the rules of the competition, it was still a tie.

Medicine King Jin Yuan naturally didn’t say anything like ”I lost” either.

This medical competition was significant; even if he only managed to tie with Lin Dong based on luck, it was still a tie.

He would not admit to a loss just because of that!

Even if he agreed, the doctors backing him from Eastern Medicine wouldn’t agree, nor would the public from Kimchi Nation.

”So next, the Prescription competition!”

Next, began the third medical competition.

The rules of the Prescription competition were different from Lin Dong’s previous approach with the Medicine King from Kimchi Nation.

The competition between Lin Dong and Jin Yuan involved real cases.

They had to treat specific patients.

The rule was the same: to cure patients using prescribed medicine within half an hour.

Whoever cured more patients would win!

The two began to treat patients using prescribed medicines again.

Half an hour later, the referee announced the results again:

”The Prescription competition still ends in a draw!”

The medical professionals watching, whether they were from Traditional Chinese Medicine, Eastern Medicine or Western Medicine, were all filled with admiration for Lin Dong and Jin Yuan.

Today, they had truly broadened their horizons!

Witnessing the top-notch contest between Eastern Medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine, they saw a visual feast of medicine!

”It was fantastic!” exclaimed Elder Wang Wang Taisui.

The Old Predecessors of Traditional Chinese Medicine who came from the capital city also voiced their emotions:

”The waves behind drive on those before, each generation is stronger than the last; Traditional Chinese Medicine has successors now!”

”I have been in the medical field for decades, witnessed countless medical fights, and none have ever been as exciting as today!”

”A medical fight between equals, it’s truly amazing!”

”...”

At this moment, in these medical professionals’ eyes, they even momentarily forgot the division between Eastern and Traditional Chinese Medicine.

They were completely, thoroughly engrossed in this visual feast of medicine.

Lin Dong and Jin Yuan, the two competitors, were becoming more and more exhilarated with each comparison.

Next, they compared bone setting!

Still a tie!

Afterward, the competition was in cupping therapy!

It was still a contest of equals!

They compared in every possible category, almost trying each one, and the results were still equal.

This truly stumped the referee; at this rate, how could a winner be decided?
