Urban Divine Doctor Descends the Mountain

Chapter 1163: Chapter 1162: The Miraculous Acupuncture Technique

”The second match, a competition in acupuncture!”

”In half an hour let’s see who cures more patients!”

When the referee announced these rules, he turned to Lin Dong and Jin Yuan with a smile, ”Begin!”

Lin Dong and Jin Yuan glanced at each other, then walked over to their respective groups and began treating patients.

Doctor Alice, however, said to Purton, ”President Purton, haven’t you always emphasized that the essence of being a doctor is to cure patients?”

”Now, they are going to truly cure diseases with acupuncture. Don’t be too surprised later.”

Doctor Alice had seen Lin Dong use acupuncture to treat brain shrapnel, so she already had a certain understanding of the magic of acupuncture.

Purton hadn’t seen it, but after witnessing the diagnosis made by Lin Dong and Jin Yuan just now, he too was filled with curiosity about their acupuncture skills.

The acupuncture competition began!

First was Jin Yuan, who approached the first patient whose face was covered with acne!

After arriving in front of the patient, he immediately began to apply needles to the patient’s face.

Seven silver needles were inserted into the patient’s face.

”Swoosh, swoosh, swoosh!” His movements were smooth as flowing water, and his technique of applying needles was as elegant as a dragon and phoenix dance.

After inserting needles into seven acupoints on the patient’s face, one could see a faint golden light connecting the seven acupoints marked by the silver needles.

In just a moment, the full face of acne on the patient’s face began to fall off.

It truly achieved immediate results with the needles!

Seeing this, Purton and the Western doctors were all astonished.

”This acupuncture is too miraculous. It’s even better than the fastest special medicine for acne!”

Meanwhile, on the Eastern Medicine side, everyone couldn’t help but look up and say,

”Hehe, this is our Medical Saint Jin Yuan’s forte, the Seven-Star Needle Method. This method encompasses everything and can cure all diseases. What’s a little acne in comparison!”

On the Traditional Chinese Medicine side, Elder Wang and others were also moved.

They had heard of Jin Yuan’s Seven-Star Needle Method!

Seeing it today, its reputation was indeed well-deserved!

At the same time, Lin Dong was also treating his corresponding patient.

The patient Lin Dong treated also had a facial condition.

It was a patient with a large birthmark on the face.

Lin Dong used a technique from the Eight Billion Needles in the Taiyi Divine Needle, inserting nine filiform needles into the patient’s face.

Purton couldn’t help but say, ”Could it be that acupuncture can also treat birthmarks?”

In his Western medical understanding, birthmarks required plastic surgery and skin grafts to be treated.

The concept of curing birthmarks with acupuncture was beyond their comprehension.

Lin Dong responded with facts.

Acupuncture can treat birthmarks!

Nine silver needles were inserted into the corresponding acupoints, and the patient’s face, covered with a birthmark, began to redden before white qi emerged from the location of the birthmark.

The patient cried out in pain!

”Pain is a normal reaction, bear with it a little,” Lin Dong reassured the girl with the birthmark in a gentle tone.

She caught Lin Dong’s gaze and nodded.

A few minutes later, Lin Dong laughingly said, ”Here’s a mirror and tissue paper, you can look in the mirror and wipe off the dead skin from your legs!”

The girl with the birthmark nodded eagerly, taking out a mirror and wet wipes from her makeup bag.

She looked in the mirror and wiped the spot where the birthmark had been.

With this wipe, the dead skin fell away, revealing normal, new skin underneath.

Her face, as if reborn from fire!

Seeing this scene, she cried tears of joy, ”My face, my face is really better! Sob, the birthmark that has plagued me for over twenty years and made me feel so inferior has just been healed!”

”The hospital said that even surgery might not completely cure it! Sob, Divine Doctor Lin, thank you, thank you so much!”

Lin Dong was already treating the next patient. As for her gratitude, he merely nodded.

He appeared so serene, like a gentle breeze blowing through light clouds!

But everyone around him was stunned.

Purton had now turned into a shocked baby, exclaiming incessantly, ”This is crazy, unbelievable...”

Doctor Alice and Doctor Thomas, upon witnessing this scene, exchanged smiles.

They both knew how wise it had been to invite President Purton for this specific event.

In doing so, would he join them in convincing the other old fellows at the Medical Association to let Traditional Chinese Medicine have a place in Yingjiang Country?

Viewers in the live room, whether from the Dragon Country Live Broadcast Room or the Paocai Nation Live Broadcast Room, were now filled with shock.

For the first time in an online live broadcast, they were seeing such miraculous acupuncture techniques!

In the Dragon Country live room, everyone was flooding the chat, expressing their opinions:

”Who says Dragon Country’s traditional medicine is witchcraft? This is the real Dragon Country Chinese Medicine, this acupuncture technique is simply too magical! It can even cure birthmarks!”

”I never believed in Chinese medicine before, but from today on, my first choice for medical treatment will be traditional Chinese medicine. Of course, I won’t just choose any random ’ancestral secret recipe’ that’s a scam. I will look for a real healer like Great Divine Doctor Lin!”

”I used to think that Chinese medicine couldn’t compare to Western medicine, but after seeing Great Divine Doctor Lin’s acupuncture technique, I admit I was wrong!”

”Who needs injections and medications when you have this kind of acupuncture cure?”

”I never believed in Chinese medicine before, but from now on, I’m a fan of traditional Chinese medicine!”

”I just finished my college entrance exams and didn’t know what major to choose. Now, I’ve decided to study traditional Chinese medicine! I pray that my scores will be enough.”

”My daughter also wants to study Chinese medicine, but I didn’t agree before and suggested that she study Western medicine instead. But now, I’ve decided to respect her choice!”

”I love Chinese medicine, I love Great Divine Doctor Lin!”

”...”

The Dragon Country live broadcast room instantly ignited a passion for Chinese medicine. Countless people, after witnessing the acupuncture techniques of Lin Dong and Jin Yuan, were filled with admiration for Chinese medicine.

Those who once held prejudices against Chinese medicine no longer did, even becoming fans of it.

Many students who had just completed their college entrance exams also made up their minds to study Chinese medicine.

The live room of Paocai Nation was also expressing amazement, but what they marveled at was the magic of Eastern medicine.

Their live room was similarly engulfed by a fervor for Eastern medicine!

Back at the competition scene.

At the moment, Lin Dong had successively cured a dozen more people. These patients all suffered from different diseases.

Surgical diseases, gynecological diseases, internal diseases, pediatric diseases... Yet no matter what the disease was, under his acupuncture, each one was cured one by one.

It was the same on Jin Yuan’s side.

Everyone watched as they used acupuncture to treat the patients in both queues.

Purton kept exclaiming:

”It’s amazing, now, they have each cured at least fifteen patients. And it’s only been fifteen minutes. That is to say, they take an average of only one minute to cure a patient!”

”My God, this is unbelievable! Even our top medical expert team in Yingjiang Country can’t achieve this speed of treatment!”

Purton was truly deeply impressed by the acupuncture techniques of Lin Dong and Jin Yuan.

He decided in his heart that if Chinese medicine won this medical competition, he would suggest upon returning that Yingjiang Country allow Chinese medical pavilions to be established, encouraging everyone to study Chinese medicine.

Of course, if Chinese medicine lost and Eastern medicine won the competition, he was also prepared to allow the establishment of Eastern medical pavilions in Yingjiang Country.

Now, it was a matter of seeing who would win this medical battle!
