Urban Divine Doctor Descends the Mountain

Chapter 1162: Chapter 1161: An Equal Match

”The first round, diagnosis competition!”

”Rules: Within ten minutes, each will diagnose patients. Whoever diagnoses more patients, wins!”

After the referee announced the rules, many patients were brought over.

These patients were selected from various big hospitals. Knowing that two internationally renowned divine doctors would treat them, they volunteered eagerly and were very happy to sign up.

The patients were brought directly by bus.

Two full buses!

After they arrived, they lined up into two formations, with Lin Dong and Jin Yuan each walking in front of one formation.

Next, they began direct diagnoses!

On Jin Yuan’s side, after taking one look at the patient, he immediately wrote down the diagnostic results, then proceeded to the second one.

On Lin Dong’s side, it was the same. After one glance, he immediately wrote down the diagnostic results and moved on to the next one!

Seeing the two doctors diagnose in this way, Vice Chairman Purton of the Medical Association and the Western doctors he brought with him were all full of confusion.

Among them, someone said, ”Aren’t they going to conduct consultations? They don’t even ask patients about their symptoms before making a diagnosis? Also, they aren’t doing any examinations?”

”Such diagnoses are bound to be inaccurate! And the misdiagnosis rate must be very high!” Even Purton couldn’t help but say.

Doctor Thomas, having shamelessly stayed by Lin Dong’s side and followed him to learn about Traditional Chinese Medicine for a while, had some understanding of this.

At the moment, he explained to everyone, ”In Traditional Chinese Medicine, this is called inspection. Some masters of Traditional Chinese Medicine can tell the location and specific situation of the lesions on a patient’s body with just one glance and make a diagnosis...””

Purton clearly didn’t believe it, ”How is that possible? Could their eyes be more effective than Western medicine’s medical imaging devices, such as X-ray machines and nuclear magnetic resonance instruments, which we invented?”

Doctor Thomas said, ”I’ve heard that the very best Traditional Chinese Doctors can indeed develop a kind of X-ray vision, allowing them to directly see the lesions of the patients...””

Before he could finish, Purton interrupted him.

Purton laughingly said, ”That’s just nonsense, nothing but ’witchcraft’ spread by Traditional Chinese Medicine. Doctor Thomas, I’m shocked you believe this, especially since you’re one of the top neurosurgery experts in the world...””

Doctor Thomas sighed. He knew that no matter how much he explained, it wouldn’t be as convincing as waiting for the upcoming results.

Meanwhile, Lin Dong and Jin Yuan continued to diagnose the patients.

Lin Dong had activated his X-Ray’s Vision, and no patient’s lesion could hide from his sight.

Jin Yuan had also activated his Eyes of the Holy Doctor, and like Lin Dong, he could see through the conditions of the patients in front of him.

Soon, the ten minutes for diagnosing were up.

Lin Dong and Jin Yuan both simultaneously handed their completed patient diagnoses to the referee!

Purton and the others noticed that Lin Dong and Jin Yuan each had seen an entire row of patients. A quick estimate suggested there were over a hundred people!

Purton was even more doubtful, ”The two of them diagnosed so many patients within ten minutes, the misdiagnosis rate here has to be at least seventy percent!”

In his opinion, ten minutes at most would be enough to see ten patients. That was the limit anyway. Whenever he saw patients, in ten minutes, he could only get through three or four at most.

Any more would surely result in misdiagnoses!

At that time, the referee, holding the diagnostic results of the two doctors, began to announce:

”Eastern Doctor Jin Yuan diagnosed one hundred and one people in ten minutes! Not a single error in diagnosis! Zero misdiagnosis rate!”

”Traditional Chinese Doctor Lin Dong diagnosed one hundred and one people in ten minutes. Not a single error in diagnosis, also a zero misdiagnosis rate!”

Wow!!!

As soon as these words came out, all the Western doctors, including Purton, were shocked.

Not just them, even many Traditional Chinese Medical Experts and Eastern Medicine practitioners were also astonished.

Being doctors themselves, they naturally knew how difficult it was to diagnose hundreds of people within ten minutes.

Yet these two had managed to diagnose one hundred and one people in ten minutes, each.

And with a zero misdiagnosis rate!

This was simply outrageous.

”Impossible, this can’t be possible!”

Purton, who previously didn’t react to Lin Dong despite having seen Nobel Prize in Medicine laureates, was shaking his head and saying ’no, No, NO’ excitedly.

Alice and Doctor Thomas, watching this scene, couldn’t help but exchange smiles.

After that, Doctor Alice suggested, ”President Purton, you can go check the results for yourself.”

Purton nodded, ”Of course, I’m going to check.”

He thought it was absolutely impossible.

He quickly went over to the referee, took Lin Dong’s diagnostic results, and then compared them to the patient information, one by one.

These patients were volunteers from Grade III Hospitals. They all had been inpatients before and had medical records, so the information was available.

After Purton compared the diagnostic results against those of the patients, he exclaimed:

”This is unbelievably crazy. There’s actually a zero-error rate. How is this possible?”

Could Traditional Chinese Medicine really be as miraculous as Alice said?

And could this young master of Traditional Chinese Medicine genuinely possess a pair of eyes that can see through patients’ lesions, as Thomas claimed?

Are his eyes truly more powerful than an X-ray machine, more so than nuclear magnetic resonance?”

”President Purton, what do you think about Traditional Chinese Medicine now?” Doctor Alice couldn’t help but ask.

Purton exclaimed, ”It’s magical, perhaps, I should consider your suggestion.”

Hearing this, Doctor Alice’s eyes lit up with excitement flashing through them.

At the moment, after the referee declared the first round a tie, he announced again:

”The first round, diagnosis, a tie!”

”Next, we begin the second round, Acupuncture Technique!”
