The Dramatic Crown Princess Wants to Poison Me!

Chapter 176: Chapter 176: Feelings

Huangfu Jingchen’s actions were actually quite clumsy, clearly showing that he wasn’t skilled in this at all.

But he had a strong ability to learn, and figured it out instinctively.

Feeling almost suffocated, Xia Wenjin regained her senses. She wanted to push him away, but when she reached out her hand, it was weak and powerless.

This strength, how could it push someone away? It was like tickling.

Fortunately, sensing her discomfort, Huangfu Jingchen let her go.

Their breathing was much heavier now.

Huangfu Jingchen’s eyes were as deep as the ocean, staring unblinkingly at Xia Wenjin.

In his expression, there was nervousness, a reckless abandon, and also expectation and anticipation.

Xia Wenjin’s face flushed, her eyes seemingly misted with a layer of water vapor, making her eyes appear even blacker and brighter. Her originally rosy lips, kissed, now looked as if they were petals covered in dew, soft and tender, so exquisite, like a newly bloomed flower, fresh as a lotus with dew, making Huangfu Jingchen’s eyes deepen again, almost unable to restrain himself from wanting to do it again.

But Huangfu Jingchen also understood that he had taken advantage of the surprise just now.

Once could be impulsive, catching by surprise, a sudden attack. He would be glad to do it again, but didn’t know how Xia Wenjin would react.

Moreover, he didn’t dare, afraid of scaring her, and also afraid she would be angry.

How would Xia Wenjin react? At this moment, she was completely dumbfounded. Last time, she only pretended to hug him, and he rushed to the side to throw up. So, in her mind, he was categorized as harmless. Who knew that he would dare to kiss her?

And just now... what was that feeling?

His lips were scorching, directly melting into her heart, burning it so much that her heart quivered, causing her heart to beat wildly, almost jumping out of her chest. That indescribable tingling feeling spread from her lips and tongue throughout her body, making her blood tremble.

This feeling, she had never experienced before.

Not even in her past life.

In her past life, her love was unrequited, Huangfu Yuxuan only intended to use her; there were many sweet words, appearing gentle and caring, but actually he was very cold, and there was no intimacy between them.

Seeing Xia Wenjin’s dazed, bewildered look, Huangfu Jingchen’s heart softened, a slight smile on his lips; she was really cute this way.

Finally struggling to drive away the chaos in her mind, Xia Wenjin blinked and tried to regain clarity, should she be angry, or should she slap him, accusing him of being frivolous? Or should she be angry, and then leave in a huff?

But all these reactions seemed odd because she didn’t feel any of that right now.

Moreover, she wouldn’t deny that the feeling just now was... not bad!

This guy thought she was a man and still dared to kiss her; he was indeed courageous.

Then, she looked at Huangfu Jingchen seriously: ”I’m a man!”

Huangfu Jingchen smiled slightly: ”I know!”

She continued seriously: ”I see you as a brother!”

Huangfu Jingchen replied: ”Oh? So what?”

Xia Wenjin’s expression changed abruptly, and she punched him: ”I see you as a brother, and you want to sleep with me?”

The punch landed squarely, hitting Huangfu Jingchen’s eye socket directly. He covered his face and stepped back, and Xia Wenjin punched him again in the chest. He let out a low sound, his face instantly turning pale, his body swaying as if about to fall to the ground.

Only then did Xia Wenjin remember his injuries, which she had bandaged herself. There was a long, deep cut on his chest; did she hit his wound?

The small anger in her heart disappeared, and she hurriedly supported him, anxiously saying: ”Did the wound reopen? Sorry, I didn’t mean to! Does it hurt? Don’t move, let me take a look!”

Just as she bent down to check, suddenly the world spun around her, and when she came to, she realized that Huangfu Jingchen had pulled her back into his arms and was spinning her around.

His joyful voice sounded in her ear: ”Wenjin, I knew you didn’t hate me, right? You still care about me, you’re not angry, right? You’re willing to accept me, right?”

Xia Wenjin: ”...”

This guy, did he really use the pain tactic on her?

Also, she was just showing concern, can’t brothers or friends look out for each other?

Did he misunderstand something?

She found herself helplessly being spun around by him, her whole person seemed to be flying.

Her mind was momentarily in a blur.

Accept?

These two words were so heavy, so solemn, her heart trembled slightly. She said faintly: ”What’s the use of me accepting you? Will your family accept me?”

Huangfu Jingchen paused, his spinning came to a halt, the joy in his heart seemed to pause as well, but then he said firmly: ”Don’t worry about that, leave it to me, I won’t let you suffer!”

Xia Wenjin was a bit flustered, how did it come to this? Didn’t her words discourage him? Did she bend him? Such a good young man, turning out to like males? This idea was very dangerous for him.

She continued to say faintly: ”Let go, what am I accepting? Although I’m Long Yang, I also like girls, in future I want to marry a wife and have children!”

Huangfu Jingchen was stunned, the joy in his eyes slowly extinguished, he slowly let go, looking at her intently, his voice hoarse: ”You... want to marry a wife and have children?”

”Of course!” Xia Wenjin pretended to be nonchalant: ”A man should start a family and establish a career, isn’t that fundamental? Doesn’t Brother Huang need to marry and have children?”

Huangfu Jingchen continued to stare at her, marry a wife? Have children?

That’s what he used to think too, as the Princely Heir of Cheng, the eldest brother of a brother and sister, he thought he should marry and have children, inherit everything from the Cheng Prince Mansion, and take care of his siblings.

But now, he no longer thought that way.

Upon recognizing that emotion in his heart, he was in pain, he avoided, he panicked, he was conflicted, he struggled. He put great effort into convincing himself, leaving the task of marrying and having children to his brother, only wanting to live with the person he loved.

But the person he loved...

The person he loved wanted to marry a wife and have children, to start a family and establish a career!

He couldn’t say Xia Wenjin was wrong, her thinking was very reasonable.

But his heart felt blocked, full of pain, and bitterness; a vibrant flower had already taken root, sprouted, and blossomed deep in his heart, but now, it was wilting.

He lowered his gaze, feeling drained of energy, his eyes growing dim, his heart turning cold as he suppressed his discomfort within, saying with a heavy voice: ”I understand!”

Xia Wenjin wore a smile, but inside her heart was also a blend of emotions; she and he had gotten too close.

After all, she was a woman, no matter how convincingly she dressed as a man, she ultimately wasn’t!

Huang Zheng, newly entering Jianghu, had limited exposure to people; although he had a calm and wise approach to matters, he was completely inexperienced with emotions, so, he developed such feelings for her?
