Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 2887: Chapter 2896: Gigi Plays Matchmaker for Scott Harris and Joanne

Everyone had finished breakfast. Baron Lawrence only emerged after his bath.

Enna Clark waited for him in the living room while playing games with Gigi on the sofa.

Gigi proudly pushed the toy block castle she had built in front of Enna Clark, beaming, ”Mummy, look, it’s Gigi’s castle~”

”That’s awesome~”

”Hehe, it’s because Mummy helped me that Gigi’s castle is awesome.” Her sweet words made Enna Clark smile warmly.

Gigi pointed with her chubby little finger at the makeshift castle made of toy blocks and said, ”This is Mummy’s place, next is Gigi’s place. Then Brubby’s place, a little below is Sister Joanne’s place. And Uncle Harris... um... Uncle Harris lives with Sister Joanne~ Hehe. Then comes Papa’s place, and there’s the adorable Grandpa Housekeeper and Gigi’s favorite beautiful Auntie Olivia...”

Enna Clark listened as she counted almost everyone she knew but forgot one very important person. She couldn’t help reminding her, ”Gigi, aren’t you forgetting someone?”

”Huh?” The little girl looked up, blinking her large grape-like eyes, secretly glancing at her stomach, biting her lip to hold back saying she wanted to give the biggest and prettiest room to her sister, then tilted her head and said in confusion, ”Gigi didn’t forget anyone.”

”Are you sure you didn’t forget? Think again if you might have forgotten someone. It’s someone who treats you very, very well, and he’s right here with us.” Enna Clark gently reminded her, ”He often buys you toys, beautiful clothes, and takes you to the playground. Think, who is it?”

The little girl, with such an obvious hint, immediately turned her head and pointed at the man dining elegantly in the dining room, ”Daddy~”

She was recently losing teeth, and with a newly missing front tooth, she revealed a toothless cute smile, sweetly explaining to Enna Clark, ”Mummy, Gigi didn’t forget Daddy. Hehe, Daddy would surely live with Mummy. Just like how Sister Joanne would live with Uncle Harris in the future.”

Joanne Harrison just came out of the kitchen holding a cup of coffee she brewed for Enna Clark. Hearing her innocent teasing, her face flushed instantly, she lowered her head, walked up to Enna Clark, and said in a small voice, ”Young Madam, I’ve put the coffee on the table.”

”Thank you.”

Joanne hurriedly said, ”Young Madam, no, no need to thank me, it’s what I should do.”

Apart from her embarrassment wishing she could find a crack to hide in, Scott Harris, who was standing discreetly beside Baron Lawrence, also showed visible embarrassment, deliberately pretending not to hear. However, he didn’t realize that because he was too deliberate, it exposed his shyness even more.

Bobby, with his clever little phoenix eyes, looked at them one by one, his lips slightly curling up, shrugging nonchalantly.

These two obviously had feelings for each other but refused to admit it, and now it’s out, thanks to the big mouth of the little dummy.

With a little dummy like this stirring the pot, the two probably can’t pretend nothing happened anymore.

I wonder who among them will be the first to speak up and advance this relationship...

While Bobby was pondering, Scott Harris and Joanne Harrison quickly glanced at each other, and coincidentally their eyes met in mid-air, Joanne Harrison quickly withdrew her gaze, turned her head, pretending to be busy as she went back into the kitchen, ”I’ll brew another cup for President Lawrence.”
