Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 2853: Chapter 2862: Thinks Renee Anderson Is a Good Girl

”Renee?” Sydney Sullivan thought for a moment before recalling, ”Are you talking about the one who used to live near us?”

”Yes, that’s her. She went abroad for further studies for a while, and now she’s back working at Celestial Entertainment. The Anderson Family has shares in Celestial Entertainment, and she’s now the Director of Administration at Celestial Entertainment. I saw her today, and she seems more mature than before. Her demeanor is also graceful and composed. I remember Adam used to have a good impression of her, didn’t he? Maybe you could first get in touch with Renee and see what kind of person she is. If suitable, you could introduce her to Adam.”

Benjamin Sinclair looked tired, and said helplessly, ”I don’t actually insist on Adam finding someone who fits our social status; he’s my son, of course, I want him to be happy. You look at before, when you protected him and let him mess around in the entertainment industry, I didn’t say anything. That’s because he was young, and it was okay to mess around. Men all have times when they mess around, and it’s better to do it when they’re young than when they’re older. But now, he’s almost thirty, and he needs to settle down. Whatever happens, my position will be left for him to inherit in the future. His wife doesn’t need to have an exceptionally esteemed background, but at least she should be someone who, when mentioned, won’t make others laugh.”

Benjamin Sinclair spoke earnestly, ”Renee is just right, especially if he likes her. If you have time, get in touch with her; she seemed to show some interest in Adam.”

Sydney Sullivan was about to refuse but reconsidered, realizing she needed to find a decoy to shield Adam from people like Benjamin Sinclair before his marriage announcement. She pursed her crimson lips, frowned, and asked, ”Is she with you?”

”Uh...”

”You suddenly told me all this, isn’t it because she’s right beside you?” Sydney Sullivan said impatiently.

Benjamin Sinclair responded, ”Renee isn’t with me; she’s here at the company discussing a collaboration project, currently at the Planning Department. She was just very courteous, dropping by my office to greet me.”

From his tone, Sydney Sullivan could tell he was quite satisfied with Renee, and her brows furrowed even tighter, ”I have time now; arrange for us to meet for a drink.”

”Well... it’s not appropriate for me to arrange it, right? As an elder and a man, it’s not quite suitable to invite a young woman out for a drink.”

Sydney Sullivan thought he had a point and directly said, ”Give her phone number to me, I’ll arrange it. You spoke so highly of her; I must see for myself to confirm. Until I make sure, don’t talk about introducing her to anyone else. We don’t want both families ending up unhappy.”

She wasn’t actually planning to evaluate Renee; she only said this to buy some time.

”You don’t need to tell me that. Take a look at her; I am quite satisfied with Renee. You’ll see that she matches Adam well in both temperament and capability.”

”Okay.” Sydney Sullivan responded perfunctorily, then asked for her number. After hanging up on Benjamin Sinclair, she thought for a moment, rubbed her temples, and dialed Renee’s number that Benjamin Sinclair just gave her, ”Hello, Renee? This is Aunt Sullivan. Are you free?”

She gave her assistant a signal to head out while she called, ”Alright, let’s meet on Roman Street. I’ll be waiting for you at Roman Street 32.”

Roman Street 32 is an elite cafe, not open to the public, only serving those few guests with the right status.

Sydney Sullivan was born into nobility and is one of the few guests of the cafe.
