Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 2870: Chapter 2879: Watch Your Mouth!

Austin Harper completely lost control of his temper, practically shooting to his feet. ”What the hell do you mean by that? You really wanna say it was Sister Renee who forced you! Adam Sinclair, are you even a fucking man? For some slutty Star who’ll spread her legs for anyone, you’d even smear your own first love you grew up with?”

Earlier, Adam had been cutting him slack because of the mess in his family and the way Renee had blinded him, never really wanting to argue with him for real. But that one line Austin spewed out—”for some slutty Star who’ll spread her legs for anyone”—completely enraged the man who’d been enduring him this whole time.

Almost the very second the words left his mouth, the always composed, aristocratic man’s expression changed drastically. He swung his left hand and his fist smashed straight into Austin’s face.

There was a loud bang.

Austin staggered and slammed hard into the wall.

The tall, handsome man grabbed him by the collar. His Peach Blossom Eyes went ice-cold to the bone as he leaned in and warned, ”If you wanna lose your shit, go do it somewhere else. Next time I hear that filthy mouth of yours, I won’t let you off!”

Austin was a bit stunned by that punch. By the time Adam yanked his collar and warned him, he’d already come back to his senses somewhat. Seeing Adam this angry and thinking of Renee, he puffed out his chest, refusing to back down. ”I’m just telling the truth! She’s a Star, everyone knows what those Stars are like in private. God knows how many guys have already worn her out before she ever met you! Sister Renee treats you so well, and you betray her for some Star? You’re not a man!”

Adam knew perfectly well that Olivia Lewis had given her first time to him. Precisely because he knew what kind of person Olivia was, he was beyond furious at Austin’s slander. He lifted his hand and slammed two vicious punches straight into Austin’s mouth. ”Since you can’t keep your filthy mouth shut, I’ll teach you how!”

Austin took those two full-force punches, and his mouth filled with blood. He spat out a mouthful of blood, then, just as enraged, broke free of Adam’s grip and lunged at him. ”Come on then, see who’s scared of who! I’ve been fucking sick of you for a long time, today I’ll teach you a lesson!”

Adam didn’t waste breath like he did. His Peach Blossom Eyes narrowed and he went straight in. Punch after punch, each one landing on Austin’s face, deliberately targeting his mouth.

Austin wasn’t some pushover either. He’d been born into a military-political family and had been in plenty of fights since he was a kid. Later his family even shoved him into the army for training for a while, which only made his moves more ruthless.

The two of them went at each other blow for blow. At first, Austin still squeezed in a few lines about Renee every now and then, but later on, it turned into a pure brawl.

Every move was vicious!

There were surveillance cameras all over Sinclair Group. Their fight in the garage quickly alerted the company security personnel. The security personnel rushed over and pulled the two of them apart.

”President Sinclair, are you alright?”

”Young Master Harper...”

”Let go of me!” Austin, his face covered in injuries, still tried to lunge forward.

It took three security personnel yanking on him at once to hold him back.

Adam was in much better shape than he was. His face was injured too, but he didn’t look nearly as miserable as Austin did. Clearly, he’d had the upper hand in that fight.

Once the security personnel arrived, he calmed down quickly. Wiping the blood from the corner of his mouth, he looked coldly at the flushed, worked-up man, then leaned in and landed one more punch on Austin, who was restrained by security.

Then, with a cold, aristocratic air, he stepped back from him, lowered his fist, and said evenly, ”That punch was on Olivia’s behalf. Austin, from today on, we’re not friends anymore.”
