Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 2791: Chapter 2800: I Hope You Are Happier

Lydia Bell was much more obedient after being subtly disciplined by Olivia Lewis, cooperating throughout the radio broadcast with the host.

Although she occasionally seized moments to chime in during the process, it was of no consequence to Olivia Lewis.

She didn’t care whether newcomers spoke up or not.

In the entertainment industry, everyone wants to be famous. It’s much easier to deal with those who have their ambitions written all over their face than those who pretend, like Nicole Oliver.

The radio broadcast lasted two hours, and Olivia Lewis walked out after finishing the job.

Sunny immediately pulled her over to the corridor, frowning, ”Olivia, do you know about Young Master Sinclair helping you terminate your contract?”

”Uh...”

”Just now the company director called me asking if you’re terminating your contract, and I was completely bewildered. She said Young Master Sinclair brought a team of lawyers to the company to help you terminate your contract. What’s going on?” Sunny anxiously inquired.

Olivia Lewis had been in the recording studio for over two hours, her mind somewhat foggy. Hearing Sunny’s words, she recalled, ”Oh, right, there’s something about that. I forgot to tell you. I’m not sure how it happened, but he found out that August Oliver became my direct superior, and he mentioned last night he would help me terminate the contract.”

After that, their discussion shifted from contract termination to marriage, and she was taken to the Civil Affairs Bureau in the middle of the night to register, which made her forget about Adam Sinclair’s talk of contract termination.

”He really went to the company to help me terminate the contract?”

Emma, isn’t that fast?

Sunny wished she could smack her on the forehead, rolling her eyes at her in exasperation, ”What do you think? If Young Master Sinclair hadn’t gone, how would I know? The company is in chaos right now, and the new director personally called me, basically hoping you wouldn’t terminate the contract.”

The new director is Renee Anderson!

”I want to terminate the contract,” Olivia Lewis firmly said.

Renee Anderson doesn’t want her to terminate because she wants to keep her around to continue making Olivia uncomfortable, and see if there’s a chance to interfere with her and Adam Sinclair.

As long as she’s with Celestial Entertainment for even a day, there’s a chance Adam Sinclair could continue interacting with Renee Anderson.

Renee Anderson is so scheming that she definitely wouldn’t want to let go of her stepping stone.

Olivia Lewis was even more determined to terminate the contract.

Sunny was giving her a headache, holding her forehead with her hand, saying, ”Didn’t you say you’d terminate the contract after finishing this film? Why the sudden change of heart? Ms. Clark’s company isn’t established yet, and if you terminate now, you might have to affiliate your studio under Young Master Sinclair. Have you thought it through?”

”I’ve thought it through.”

Previously, she didn’t want to affiliate it under Adam Sinclair because they were just dating.

Now, they’re married.

So, it shouldn’t be an issue.

”I want to terminate the contract. Sister Sunny, I have reasons to terminate it.” Besides wanting to avoid further entanglements with August Oliver, there’s also the fact that Renee Anderson is with Celestial Entertainment.

Sunny seriously looked at her for a few seconds, heaved a sigh of relief, relaxed her tense shoulders, and turned her eyes away, ”Forget it. Since you have your reasons, then go ahead with the termination. We originally planned to terminate. It’s just moving forward the schedule.”

”I just hope you’re happy.” The last sentence was said while looking at Olivia Lewis, sincerely, ”We are partners who have fought side by side. Compared to the usual manager and artist relationship, I think we’re more like friends. Although your career and mine are tied together, I still hope you can be a bit happier rather than just focusing on our careers.”
