Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 2754: Chapter 2763: Exercise After Meals Aids Digestion

”Mm.” Baron Lawrence wasn’t accustomed to chatting while eating, so he focused on his meal.

Enna Clark couldn’t finish her meal halfway through.

Watching him finish one bowl after another, consuming more than half a pot of porridge, he didn’t forget to instruct Scott Harris, ”Use plastic wrap to seal the leftovers and put them in the fridge. I want to eat them tomorrow morning.”

”Okay, Lord.” Scott Harris cleaned up the dining table and went to carry out his instructions.

Enna watched him eat so much with great force, reached out to touch his stomach, frowned and said, ”We should go for a walk later to exercise, you might not digest well and won’t be able to sleep if you eat so much at night.”

The handsome man’s eyes darkened, and he looked at her, saying, ”I need to exercise before I can sleep.”

”Hmm?” Enna had a vague feeling that the exercise he was talking about wasn’t the same as the one she meant.

Unfortunately, it was already too late, as he had already stood up and grabbed her hand, ”Enna Clark, come sleep with me.”

Unsurprisingly, he didn’t give her a chance to refuse.

Enna wasn’t stupid; given his actions, there was no question about his intentions. She still attempted one last struggle, ”Uh, maybe we should take a walk before sleeping.”

”No need for a walk, I have a better way to ’exercise’!”

He had wanted to hold her and sleep together since last night.

Unfortunately, she was in Country W yesterday.

Now that she had come to him willingly, he couldn’t be blamed for wanting her.

Remembering how he woke up last night to find her not by his side, holding his phone in the study, listening to the sound of her breathing all night.

He couldn’t control the desire of his body.

He wanted her!

He wanted to hear her softly call his name.

He wanted to see her trying to maintain her composure while being adorably flustered on the bed.

He wanted her right now!

”I still think a walk would be better...” His burning gaze was almost melting her.

Enna swallowed, clutching the doorframe, refusing to go in.

Baron Lawrence was too lazy for idle talk; he bent down, scooped her up in his arms, and headed for the bedroom.

”Ah.”

Suddenly in mid-air, Enna gasped, and by the time she realized what was happening, she was already on the soft bed.

Baron Lawrence kicked the door shut with a simple motion, leaned over her, buried his head against her neck, his hot breath lingering on her collarbone, and softly murmured, ”Don’t move, let me hold you properly.”

”...” Enna stopped moving, letting him hold her as if she were a doll.

After holding her enough, Baron Lawrence lifted his head, his deep and commanding eyes fixated on her, and after a moment he said, ”I’m so happy, really incredibly happy today. Thank you.”

He had never received such a delightful surprise before.

Since she opened the door and suddenly appeared, he felt as if he were walking on clouds tonight. So delighted that he feared it was all just a dream.

Only by holding her tightly could he be certain this moment was real.

He was always the one seeking out this woman; he had never imagined that one day Enna Clark would miss him enough to fly all the way to find him.

That feeling, it damned near made his heart race!

Enna, hearing this, paused for a moment, then smiled gently, wrapping her arms around his neck, ”Baron Lawrence, I’m happy because you are.”

This sentence was like a drug, igniting the spark in the air the next second~

The night was still long—
