Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 2786: Chapter 2795: Unexpectedly Met a Fan

Olivia Lewis saw that he had marked the spot and then walked to the outside seating area.

”Here.”

Adam Sinclair helped her wipe the chair clean with a paper napkin and invited her to sit.

Olivia sat down carelessly and said, ”You don’t want duck blood, I already told the boss. And cilantro, you don’t want that either, right?”

”Yeah.” He never liked overly strong flavors since he was young.

Like cilantro, duck blood, onions, stinky tofu, and for fruits, durians and mangoes.

”Cilantro and duck blood are so tasty, and you can’t appreciate them. Plus, you don’t want chili. Eating spicy hot pot like this, the dish might as well cry.” A spicy hot pot without chili is practically just a bowl of clear soup and sweet potato noodles.

Adam had a helpless expression; he generally didn’t like these things. If he weren’t accompanying her, he wouldn’t have eaten at all.

The last time he came with her to eat this, he had an upset stomach the next day.

The spicy hot pot arrived.

A little girl who had been lingering nearby for a while followed along, ”Um...”

Olivia had just picked up a piece of duck blood with her chopsticks, but before she could eat it, she heard someone speak beside her. She paused for a moment, lifted her head, and saw the little girl in front of her blushing, visibly flustered under her gaze, unsure where to place her hands and feet, her face reddened, timidly saying, ”Um... are you Olivia Lewis?”

Olivia, ”...” What’s going on?

The little girl took a deep breath nervously, meeting her puzzled gaze, eagerly explaining, ”I just heard you talking to the boss, and your voice sounded a lot like Olivia Lewis. I just came over for an autograph, sorry to bother you.”

Her fan?

Olivia hadn’t encountered a fan in such a long time she thought she didn’t have any fans anymore. After a brief moment of surprise.

The little girl timidly requested, ”Can you take a photo with me? Please.”

Hearing her nervous voice trembling, scared of being rejected, Olivia blinked and agreeably replied, ”Sure.”

”Really?” The little girl was incredibly excited and approached with her phone, ”Right away, right away.”

”No worries, take your time, I’m waiting for you.” She regretfully put down her chopsticks; although she really wanted to eat right away, she still gently comforted her fan.

The little girl quickly adjusted the camera settings and took a few photos with her. Gratified, she thanked her and darted away like a little deer.

”Good thing I made you wear a hat, otherwise tonight you wouldn’t be able to eat peacefully.” Adam maintained his gentlemanly silence while the fan took photos and only spoke after she left.

Olivia finally got to eat her long-awaited spicy hot pot, unceremoniously biting into a piece of duck blood, muffledly responding, ”Ugh, how would I know I’d be recognized? It’s already so late now, and the lights are dim. Plus, I look just like some lady on the street; if she can still recognize me, you can only say her eyesight is too good. True love indeed.”

Adam watched her eat with relish, seeming to disregard everything else. Indulgently, he handed over a paper napkin, ”Take your time eating.”

”Spicy hot pot is meant to be eaten hot, or it doesn’t taste good. Also, that girl clearly wants to post the photos online. I’m not afraid of fans coming over, just worried the paparazzi might follow; better to eat quickly and go home early.”
