Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 2747: Chapter 2756: He’s Just Possessive

Scott Harris never intended to argue with her. After negotiating with the hotel manager, he led Enna Clark away.

The two bodyguards who suddenly appeared earlier were nowhere to be seen, as if they had blended back into the crowd.

”Young Madam, I’m sorry, I handled it too slowly, almost giving you a scare.” After walking out of the hotel with her, Scott Harris apologized in a low voice.

Enna Clark said, ”It’s alright, I wasn’t scared, just a bit surprised. I didn’t even know I had bodyguards following me.”

Scott respectfully explained to her, ”The two bodyguards you mentioned are specially arranged by Lord Baron to ensure your personal safety. They boarded the plane with us. Their task is to stay by your side at all times when Lord Baron is not around. Lord Baron is concerned about your safety and does not intend for them to monitor you.”

In fact, besides instructing those two bodyguards to protect Enna Clark 24 hours a day, Baron Lawrence also told them to report Enna’s every move to him promptly.

Scott Harris was aware of this, but he knew clearly. Baron Lawrence did this not out of distrust for Enna Clark, but purely out of strong possessiveness.

When it comes to matters concerning Young Madam, Lord Baron wants to know everything in detail!

”I know.” Enna Clark didn’t think much of it. Even if she knew those two had to report her actions to Baron Lawrence, she wouldn’t be surprised.

After all, he had done this before.

He is domineering, possessing strong possessiveness.

Liking someone means not only appreciating their strengths but also accepting their flaws.

Since she chose to love him, she was prepared to accept his shortcomings, even if they were difficult to accept.

”Alright, nothing happened anyway. It was just a minor accident. Didn’t Mr. Harris come timely to help me solve it? Let’s hurry to the supermarket and buy the vegetables back.” She smiled warmly, giving off a gentle and friendly vibe, like a breeze blowing away negativity, ”I cook really slowly. I wonder if I can get it done before he returns.”

”Even if the Young Madam cooks after Lord Baron returns, he will still be delighted.” Scott Harris smiled along, speaking relaxedly, ”As long as the Young Madam is here, it’s already a surprise for Lord Baron.”

Pfft—

Enna Clark felt a bit embarrassed by his words, her ears slightly warm. She quickly avoided Scott Harris’s teasing yet serious gaze and hurriedly walked forward, ”Ahem, I still want to get it done before he returns. Mr. Harris, let’s hurry.”

”Alright, Young Madam.” Scott lengthened his stride, always maintaining half a step behind her, and sped up his pace with her.

A fresh food supermarket was indeed 45 meters away, filled with lots of fruits and vegetables. Enna Clark bought her vegetables and picked some fruits along the way. Then she went to the fresh food section to buy a fish and some meats.

She carefully and attentively selected each ingredient, choosing only the freshest parts. Once she bought everything she wanted, she pushed the cart and went with Scott Harris to check out.

On the way back to the hotel, Scott Harris firmly refused to let her carry the plastic bags, steadily carrying a large bag of items to escort her back to Baron Lawrence’s Presidential Suite.

Room 001.

You could tell just by the room number how special it was.

Scott Harris swiped the card to open the door and casually turned on the lights in the entrance hall.

Enna Clark walked in and couldn’t help but let out a gasp of admiration.
