Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 2720: Chapter 2729: Doused with a Bucket of Ice Water

”Uh...” Julian Foster didn’t know why he suddenly asked, but out of politeness, he answered honestly, ”I haven’t met a girl I fancy for now.”

”So you don’t have a girlfriend?” Mr. Hanson thought more and more that Julian Foster was great, very suitable for Wendy Hanson.

”Not yet.” Julian Foster gave him a definite answer. Just as Mr. Hanson was about to happily mention Wendy Hanson, Julian poured cold water over him, ”But I met a girl today who’s quite nice, just not sure if she has a boyfriend.”

Mr. Hanson didn’t expect such coincidence, he actually met a girl he liked today. He couldn’t help but ask, ”The girl you’re talking about is...”

Julian Foster smiled gently, warm and pleasant, ”It’s the girl in the blue dress who brought Wendy over today. Uncle Hanson, do you know her? If convenient, could you give me her contact information?”

Enna Clark brought Wendy Hanson to the hospital, heading straight to the emergency room, exhibiting calm, composed, generous, and gentle behavior throughout, giving him a heart-racing feeling at first sight.

Unfortunately, he was too busy performing surgery to ask for her phone number.

After finishing the surgery, he realized she had left long ago.

He rarely felt moved, which is why he couldn’t help but ask Mr. Hanson for her contact information.

Facing his eager expectation, Mr. Hanson felt like a fishbone was stuck in his throat, unable to speak for a moment, ”The girl you’re talking about should be Enna, she’s already married.”

”She’s already married?” Julian Foster looked shocked.

Mr. Hanson replied with a complex expression, ”Yes, she got married a long time ago and already has two children.”

”...” Julian Foster was even more surprised, the person he saw looked to be just past her twenties, not like someone who has had children.

”Enna looks young, but she’s really married.”

After his shock, Julian Foster quickly calmed down, shaking his head regretfully, ”Well, that’s that. I thought she had just graduated from university. Luckily I didn’t have time to ask for her phone number earlier, or I would have been greatly embarrassed today.”

He was casual by nature, and his pure liking for Enna Clark at first sight could not be deep. After hearing Mr. Hanson say Enna Clark was married and even had kids, he could only admit defeat after the surprise.

”Uncle Hanson, I have a clinic appointment later, feel free to go see Wendy, I won’t bother you anymore.”

”Okay, send my regards to your grandma.”

”Sure.”

Julian Foster walked away, and the medical staff followed suit.

Mr. Hanson rubbed his temples, his head starting to ache again.

”President Hanson, are you okay?” His secretary who came with him quickly supported him to sit aside.

Mr. Hanson rested for a while, recovering but tiredly said, ”Can you make a call to the company and postpone this afternoon’s meeting to tomorrow? I want to go home and rest.”

”Okay, President Hanson.” The secretary went to make the call.

Mr. Hanson leaned on the hospital chair, slowly furrowing his brows...

He originally wanted to match Julian and Wendy, now it seemed hopeless. Since Julian favored Ms. Clark, he definitely wouldn’t like someone like Wendy. It’s not that his granddaughter was not good, Wendy was indeed excellent, but still too proud, lacking the warmth Ms. Clark had. Julian liked Ms. Clark’s type, meaning he wouldn’t like someone like Wendy.

Sigh, is he really going to watch her continue to fancy Baron Lawrence?
