Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 2740: Chapter 2749: Think It, Do It—Buy a Ticket and Go

”Of course, you can.” Scott Harris agreed swiftly, ”Then, Young Madam, I’ll drive you to the airport first and make some arrangements on the way.”

”Alright.”

It was the first time Enna Clark did something so wild, deciding on the spur of the moment to fly abroad just to surprise someone with a visit.

On the way to the airport, she still felt a sense of unreality, as if she was floating on the clouds. It was strange but not unpleasant.

Scott Harris drove all the way to the airport terminal. During the drive, he had already called someone to book the tickets and make preparations.

As soon as their car stopped, someone came up to help with the parking. Scott handed over the car keys, took the tickets being handed over, and led Enna Clark inside the airport.

”Young Madam, please follow me. They’ve already completed the check-in procedures for us, and we can head straight to the plane. This flight departs for Yluria Country in half an hour and is the soonest available flight.”

Enna took the tickets and passport he handed over, ”Isn’t check-in supposed to be done in person?”

Scott remained composed as he explained, ”Under normal circumstances, check-in must be done in person, but given your special status as Young Madam, it’s not convenient for you to be in crowded places. For your safety, special situations warrant special measures.”

In reality, it was mainly because the Lawrence Corporation held significant shares in the airport, and many airline companies there had intricate ties with the corporation. Who has ever seen a boss needing to go through checks on their own plane?

Enna, unaware of the inside story, simply accepted his explanation and followed him to board the plane.

Half of the First Class Cabin seats were still empty. Scott invited her in and then said, ”Young Madam, I’ve booked all these seats. Choose any seat you like.”

”All of these are booked by us?”

Looking at the mostly empty First Class Cabin, Enna was so shocked by his extravagance that she couldn’t find other words to describe it.

Scott didn’t consider his actions exaggerated in the least. He earnestly explained, ”For your safety, Young Madam, I should have booked the whole First Class Cabin. Unfortunately, you needed it urgently, and some tickets were already sold. Economic and Business Class are full too, so this is the best we can do for now. But rest assured, I’ve placed bodyguards and instructed the flight attendants to heighten security; this flight should be very safe.”

He even placed plainclothes bodyguards...

In her bones, Enna was still a humble little citizen; honestly, it was her first time flying with such a grand setup, making her slightly uncomfortable.

”I’ll sit here.” She casually picked a window seat and settled in.

”Alright, I’ll sit next to you then.” Scott took the aisle seat beside her, ensuring that anyone trying to approach Enna would have to get past him, showing just how cautious he was.

Scott watched her fasten her seatbelt and softly reminded her, ”Young Madam, the flight to Yluria Country is quite long; you should close your eyes and rest for a while. If you need anything, please let me know.”

”Okay.”

Enna leaned back in her seat, closed her eyes, and prepared to take a nap.

The flight from Country W to Yluria Country would take at least five to six hours. Sitting idly for that long would be too uncomfortable. It was better to nap and pass the time.
