Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 2744: Chapter 2753: The Guilty Accuser Strikes First

”Right now?” Scott Harris glanced at the front desk and said to Enna Clark, ”Young Madam, please wait for a moment while I handle the check-in procedures, and I’ll join you.”

”No problem, you go ahead, I’ll wait for you here.” Enna Clark was in no hurry, smiled at him and said, ”You go ahead.”

Scott Harris also wanted to complete the check-in process, he looked at the front desk and said apologetically, ”Please wait for me, Young Madam, I’ll finish up as soon as possible.”

”Sure, no hurry, take your time. Anyway, Baron Lawrence will be back in a while, we have plenty of time to shop slowly.”

Scott Harris followed the Door Attendant to the counter to handle the check-in procedures.

Enna Clark was not far from them, preparing to find a sofa to sit and wait for them to finish.

As she was walking, a person in a hurry suddenly collided with her.

”Ah.” The person jumped in fright, let out a shout, and couldn’t hold their phone properly, which dropped to the ground with a slap.

Enna Clark was also staggered by the collision, nearly falling.

In essence, they bumped into each other, but the other person was actually the one who had been looking down playing on their phone and collided with Enna Clark first.

However, instead of apologizing, the other person hurriedly picked up her phone from the ground, discovered the screen was broken. The heavily made-up woman’s brows furrowed indignantly, and she began to scrutinize Enna Clark with a hostile expression, being the first to accuse while shoving Enna Clark, ”Are you blind? Can’t you see someone here! Look, you broke my phone, just look at how shattered the screen is! Pay up!”

Enna Clark had never expected the person to be so uncouth, starting off with an unreasonable attack, not just verbally but physically too. After standing still and putting a safe distance between herself and the other person, she calmly reminded her, ”You were the one who collided into me first, if I recall correctly, you were walking without watching and looking down at your phone which is why you accidentally bumped into me.”

The woman was clearly in her thirties, and seeing Enna Clark as just a young girl, and without companions by her side yet daring to talk back. She immediately retorted maliciously, ”I wasn’t watching the road, but you should have! If you moved out of the way sooner, how could I have bumped into you! What’s the matter, little girl, I see you’re young, fair and clean, I initially didn’t want to trouble you. Compensate me and be done with it. If you don’t want to pay, I might need to visit the hospital. God knows if you hit me or not, if I have any issues, who am I supposed to go after if you run away?”

She’s practically a shrew!

Her behavior is completely that of a rogue, a rascal.

From an outsider’s point of view, regardless of how you look at it, her build is much stronger than Enna Clark’s. Considering her bulky frame, it’s more likely she could injure Enna Clark, there’s no way Enna Clark could injure her.

Moreover, they just bumped into each other while walking, it wasn’t a harsh collision. Neither of them fell; how could internal injuries occur?

Enna Clark could see that the other party was taking advantage of her being alone to deliberately act shamelessly.

She pursed her lips and said coolly, ”I’m not going to run. There’s surveillance here, if you think it’s my fault you can pull it up. If it turns out to be my fault, I would compensate you with a new phone. But if it’s not, sorry, I’m not giving you anything!”

She made as if to leave.

”Trying to run!” The woman wouldn’t let her leave, quickly stepped forward, intending to grab Enna Clark’s wrist.
