Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 2743: Chapter 2752: There Is a Large Fresh Food Supermarket

Scott Harris, sitting in the front passenger seat, saw her put away her phone and turned around to ask her, ”Young Madam, should we go to the Lord’s hotel first, or should you call the Lord and find out where he is, so we can go meet him?”

She thought for a moment and said, ”If he’s busy, it wouldn’t be good for us to go. Let’s head back to the hotel first.”

”Alright. I’ll instruct the driver to head to the hotel.” Scott Harris didn’t have any objections, and turned around to give directions to the driver.

Twenty minutes later, the car stopped in front of the Four Seasons Hotel.

The hotel door attendant quickly helped open the car door, bowing warmly, ”Welcome. Would you like me to carry the luggage for the two of you?”

”No need, we don’t have any luggage.” Scott Harris got out of the car first, taking care not to rush off. He courteously held the door frame to prevent Enna Clark from accidentally hitting her head while getting out of the car, ”Young Madam, please get out.”

”Thank you.” Enna Clark got out of the car.

The door attendant quickly led them inside, ”Please follow me to complete the check-in procedures.”

”Young Madam, the Lord is in the Presidential Suite 001. Please go up first, I’ll take care of the check-in procedures.” Scott Harris whispered.

”Is Baron Lawrence not here?” Enna Clark followed him inside.

Scott Harris, ”I just called and asked the assistant with the Lord, and the assistant said the Lord is still outside and may take a while to return.”

”I see.” Enna Clark suddenly thought of something and asked expectantly, ”Mr. Harris, is there a fresh food supermarket near the hotel?”

”Fresh food supermarket?” Scott Harris realized she wanted to cook for Baron Lawrence, and immediately took out his phone to check, ”Young Madam, please wait a moment, I’ll look it up.”

He was familiar with the nearby hospital, shopping malls, and other facilities.

But as for a fresh food supermarket, since Baron Lawrence hardly needs one, he hadn’t paid special attention to it as a housekeeper.

However, with the Internet being so developed now, checking the map is still quite convenient.

Soon he found it, raised his head and said to Enna Clark, ”Young Madam, there is a large fresh food supermarket 45 meters away from the hotel, do you want to go?

”Yes!”

Yesterday, during the day, that man got so busy he didn’t eat, she doesn’t think today, where he hasn’t even responded to his own messages, he’ll remember to eat.

It’s already 4 PM.

If he doesn’t eat by tonight, he’ll have gone the whole day without food.

Enna Clark thought about it with a feeling of concern.

Previously, she only knew Baron Lawrence was prestigious and domineering, able to get whatever he wanted through power. Now she understands, nothing can be obtained without effort. Power and status are the results of considerable dedication.

Many people only see the glamorous side of others but don’t know how much effort was put in by others to be glamorous.

As far as she knows, Baron Lawrence often stays up late handling contracts, attends video conferences, and nearly every day of the year lacks vacation time. Even when taking time off, he can’t truly relax, still having to deal with intricate work during the holiday.

The Lawrence Corporation’s scope is too broad, with dozens of visible branch offices, not to mention over a hundred companies under Lawrence holdings. In addition to those companies, a top wealthy family like theirs certainly has many hidden businesses. None of these ventures can exist without people, especially decision-makers. Many projects require his approval to advance, and to review them, he has to spend time, which can only come at the sacrifice of his rest time.
